3 stars is a bit high. The hotel room is small, the glass windows are covered with mud, the bed is small, the quilt is damp, and there are no toothbrushes, slippers and toiletries. There are few types of breakfast. The price of the buffet in the evening is the same as that of the Sheraton next door. The dishes are much different. Drinks at the buffet are charged separately. The only relief is that I chose a sea view room and relied on the sea to survive the past few days.

It is on the Mediterranean Sea, but there is no beach next to the hotel and there are not many businesses around it. The hotel facilities are generally relatively new, but the quality of the service staff varies, and individual staff have bad attitudes. In addition, there were no towels in the room. I asked for towels to be delivered at night. After urging many times, they were not delivered until the next morning.

Totally fine for an airport layover. Not as nice as the photo looks much more basic. Wifi didn’t work for me. Note no wifi at airport, and you need to call them on WhatsApp to arrange pick up. Return to airport at 5am was easy to arrange. 

we were two friends having two rooms and were staying during Ramadan, so we were the only guests there I guess.. they took care of us so well, we were very satisfied and will stay again in the near future

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel au Lounis ! Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueilli avec un sourire sincère et une attention remarquable. L’ensemble du personnel mérite une mention spéciale pour sa gentillesse, sa sympathie et sa disponibilité à toute heure, on sent réellement qu’ils aiment leur métier et qu’ils veulent que chaque client se sente comme chez lui. Les chambres sont impeccables, confortables et très bien entretenues. Le rooftop du restaurant, où l’on peut aussi prendre le petit-déjeuner avec une vue imprenable sur Santa Cruz, est tout simplement magnifique, un vrai moment de détente et de plaisir. Je recommande cet établissement les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience hôtelière chaleureuse et haut de gamme à Oran. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe du Lounis Hotel by Atlantis pour leur professionnalisme et leur sens de l’accueil !

« Nice suite and good breakfast, but billing issue and service needs improvement » Stayed from August 4th to 11th in a premium suite with breakfast included (prepaid online). Upon arrival, we were charged for breakfast because, and I quote, ”the information wasn't in the system.” After numerous discussions and providing proof, management only agreed to cover half the cost. Tip: Do not pre-book breakfast, the aquapark, or the shuttle. Several guests were in the same situation. You risk having to pay again on-site. Also, be prepared for a 20,000 dinar deposit – it's the first time I've encountered a hotel in Algeria requiring a deposit, and to get it back, you have to wait for staff to check your room before you depart. Pros: Huge and comfortable suite, good breakfast, adjacent shopping center. Cons: Lack of communication regarding services, staff need training for more proactivity and a smile. Food in the aquapark is very mediocre and overpriced, and it's open to non-hotel guests… not to mention the unpleasant smell and the endless, unbearable whistling from the lifeguards. For the price of the room, the aquapark should be included; it costs 4000 dinars for adults and 2000 for children, even if you are a hotel resident. Overall, a good hotel, but management and service need an overhaul to truly live up to a 5-star rating. I will not return due to the unyielding stance of a receptionist and the manager regarding the breakfast, as a matter of principle.
