This is an outstanding hotel. It is located across the street from the train station, but is incredibly quiet. The place is immaculate and the interior design is very well done. The hotel was remodeled in 2021 and it looks brand new. Staff was very attentive and fluent in English. The room was decent sized for a European hotel. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out so we could tour Dresden before taking a train out of town. It's one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in recent years

10 minutes walk from Dresden Hauptbanhof and 15 minutes walk to Neumarktplatz. Big shopping mall next door and PragerStrasse has all kinds of shops and restaurants. All in all a great location. Our room was an unusual layout with a large foyer and even larger bedroom but with sp**** furniture. We liked it as we had plenty of room to spread out. All the staff we met were smiling and helpful.

We stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

decent internet speed and wifi coverage. rather small room, but it (+ open access guest kitchen) had all you need. Glad thta this area not as tightly populated, so we could find free on-street parking 10m from entrance, instead of paying for parking to hotel.

Many major attractions and public transport hubs are within walking distance. Room comfort: The hotel's suites are modern in design, spacious, fully equipped and very comfortable. Especially suitable for travelers who stay for a long time, the equipment and furniture in the room are very practical. View: Some rooms in the hotel overlook Piazza Augustus, and the view is very beautiful. Whether it's day or night, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city. insufficient: Inefficient front desk: The front desk is inefficient when it comes to check-in and check-out procedures. The waiting time in line was long and the processing speed was slow, which affected the overall check-in experience. Service quality: The hotel's service needs to be improved. The front desk staff sometimes seemed unfriendly and lacked enthusiasm and initiative when dealing with problems. The response speed of room service also needs to be improved, sometimes it takes multiple reminders to get a response. Overall, Felix Ribendigan House Suites at Plaza Augustus has a great location and comfortable rooms for travelers who want to enjoy convenient transportation and beautiful views in the city center. However, there is still room for improvement in front desk efficiency and overall service quality, and I hope the hotel can improve in this area to provide a better stay experience.

The location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.

The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the surrounding environment is not chaotic, but because it is close to the main street, it is the only way to go by multiple trams, and the tram is very noisy. The view outside the window is very beautiful, but there is no air conditioning, so it will be a bit stuffy in summer. Open the window and the noise outside is very loud. The room was sun-dried, and I had to close the window and pull the curtains in the afternoon. The room and corridor and bathroom space are very good and not cramped. There is an elevator. There is a kitchen to borrow, but for some reason, the kitchen sink is full of used dirty tableware, which doesn't feel very good.

Perfect location to explore the city of Dresden. Nice room, excellent breakfast, great service. Also visited spa area - it was awesome.

This hotel looks like a jewel in Dorint's crown. Nowhere else will you find such a balanced mix of nostalgic rules and contemporary professionalism. The staff and management do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay, and a promise made will not be taken back. It is wonderful to have breakfast in the restaurant on the 26th floor with a panoramaview of the city, and with an extensive choice of fresh items in the buffet. Bar, fitness and swimming pool give you the ultimate feeling of relaxation after the effort. With window and roomdoor open, energy-consuming air conditioning is unnecessary. Did you forget something? then it is already arranged before you expect it. The only downside is the lack of extra pillows, blankets and towels in the room, but no doubt the extremely dedicated 24x7 reception will inmediately take care of that on request. And surprise: a week after your stay you will receive a personal message from director Marcel Günther in which he asks if everything went according to plan. He invites you to please come back to his hotel if you need to be in the cultural city of Chemnitz. Chapeaux! ;)

Location is good. Facilities are a bit too old to be rightfully at the Hilton brand standard, but acceptable and understandable at this price level. On the services, there is substantial room for improvement. Staff are responsive but badly need to be trained with better protocols and practices.

We changed to this hotel at the last minute and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent (opposite the Green Vault museum - well worth a visit), and the buffet breakfast was very good - well-stocked, with lots of hot options. Best of all was the executive lounge which came with our business category room. The lounge had a great range of beer, sodas (we loved the rhubarb soda,) and cheese, bread, ham etc at 6pm, plus an excellent selection of coffees - it was a lovely place to hang out rather than head to a restaurant. Our room was large - as pointed out in several reviews, the sink area is 'open-plan' but the shower and loo are behind closed doors! Dresden was only a pit-stop for us on a long European trip but we were so glad we made the detour and to this hotel. (NB: the spa/sauna area in the basement is good but the sauna is 'textile free' - ie nude - which was a shock to these UK travellers!)

This is an excellent boutique hotel which is well located and has reasonable rates for the quality of services provided. I stayed three nights in a Deluxe room which was modern, clean, and spacious, with plenty of lighting. I had a front facing room which was quiet in the evenings. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower, and an area near the sink to hang clothing. Water and soft drinks are complimentary, as are the coffee, tea, and light snacks in the lounge located on the ground floor. I looked forward to breakfast each morning, with the varied cold buffet and included hot menu items. Overall, the staff were friendly and professional. If I ever return to Dresden, I would stay here again.

Hotel location is very good, next to the Grand Palace. You can even see the hotel in the Grand Palace. You can walk to all the attractions. This trip to 9 cities for 22 days, the most expected is Dresden. The world's most beautiful baroque buildings are here. The city that used to be in East Germany, because it was dark, there was a feeling of the domestic 80s before arriving in the city. After dawn, the hotel was still amazing. The buildings are very magnificent, and it is quite different to change the traditional Gothic style. The hotel room is very crowded and can open a box when there is a sofa bed. The place is small and can't get down. The hotel and other hotels share an elevator, and the front desk is on the sixth floor. The room is very far from the elevator, and you have to walk through the corridor to get to the room. There is no problem with the facilities themselves and the staff is very good. Maybe I will stay next time, but I will definitely note the room near the elevator.

Super location, directly at the women's church we had received an upgrade although we had only paid a last minute price Rooms super , large and luxurious Bikes were stuck in the baggage room and were allowed to stay there even after check-out until afternoon SPA area is OK, but access to the roof terrace is not possible, but visitors of the roof terrace room see and also enter the SPA area and enter we have paid the price we have only paid a absolute highlight in Dresden

In the 3 years since I last stayed here, the hotel has declined. I am a Marriott Gold member, My first room was right next to the elevator, and when I went downstairs and asked to be moved, I felt as though I was inconveniencing the desk clerk. They gave me a room one door further down. When I came home that evening, I had a leak in my ceiling that was creating a large puddle and continually dripping. I put a bunch of towels down and let them know. By the following evening, the leak had been fixed, thankfully. My room also had a large Jacuzzi tub with the shower above it, which was very difficult as you almost had to stand on the sloped part of the tub to be under the shower. It was also tricky getting in and out of the tub as it was very high. Perhaps the thing that I found the most disappointing was that the only choice for breakfast was to pay €35 for buffet. I asked if I could just get a cup of coffee and a roll and the answer was only if I paid €35. This seems silly. There was nothing horribly wrong with the hotel, but the overall stay was just unpleasant. Certainly not five star.

It is worthy of the Relais & Châteaux series hotel, the service is very friendly, much better than the Kempinski I have stayed in before. The only downside is that the breakfast variety is a bit simpler.

NH Collection Dresden Altmarkt is a fabulous hotel. Hotel is beautiful and the location is great Staff was welcoming and very helpful. My husband was looking for a peppermint for a sore throat, but there were none in the candies that were set out for guest, so they found him some hard candy they thought would work ( and it did). We had a two bedroom suite which was beautiful and perfect for us. The lobby is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar and the prices were very reasonable. Location is excellent. Near hotels, sights and bars. The Altmarkt right next door is a great place to shop for pretty much anything. Loved it! Would definitely stay there again, and will look for this hotel chain for future stays.

I checked in before 3 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel. The breakfast was rich and the transportation was convenient. I happened to meet the Turkish European Cup national team staying there. The front desk service was very good! It was a pity that I never met the Turkish players.

The environment is very good. The location can also go to the Leipzig Zoo. It is a few minutes drive. It is Sunday. The nearby shops are closed. It is not easy to find. The hotel bathtub is very good. The toiletries are also very good. The little brother at the door is very handsome.

Wonderfully designed apartment - generous, elegant, clean and quite lovely, attentive service. Great location - the city centre, restaurants, bars, are walking well accessible. At the same time super quiet and beautiful view of the garden. Nice pictures, art, books. Own visit app and well filled refrigerator. We'll be happy to come back when we come back to Leipzig.

So ein schlechtes Hotel has ich selten kennengelernt. Das Zimmer stank nach Abfluss, nach eine Nacht has ich mich beschwert, das Zimmer stinkt, die zwei Leselampen am Bett nicht funktionieren. Die Lampen waren repariert aber das Zimmer stank zwei Nächte immer noch nach Abfluss. Am letzten Tag hat Fernbedienung vom Fernseher nicht funktioniert. So ein schlechtes Hotel würde ich nie wieder buchen! Ich würde allem abraten hier zu buchen This terrible hotel is rare. First of all, the room smells of sewage and makes my head hurt. Both of the lamps on the bed are broken and the TV remote control is not available. I complained after one night, but only electricity was healed, and even after two nights, the smell of the sewage ditch did not disappear, and I had to open the window and sleep while it was snowing in winter. Never make a reservation for Koki!

In the context of a concert visit we have been allowed to stay here one night. Check Inn was running uncomplicated and quickly. The room was clean and ordened, well maintained. Beds were comfortable and in the bathroom no trace of the predecessor. The volume of the hall was only easy to hear. Breakfast was very good for the price, greatly arranged, rich and the service very prevalent. All in all a good option. The hotel itself and the rooms have come into the year something do not break down the night. With regard to the loading stations in the parking house, it should be said that it has not worked login via the app. The app did not recognize the QR codes. However, the loading columns have recognized a RFID reader so the common cards. If you have luck and no burner parked there, you could also load your car overnight. Unfortunately, this is not clearly indicated.

Has been several years since last visit. Pretty decent, ...fitness room available 24 hours, - adequate with free weights, treadmills and a couple of cycles. Weight machine available as well. Pool, though was only open till 9pm. Water dispenser could do with more accessible paper cups.

The hotel is outside the city’s 2nd ring road and less than 1 km from the shopping streets and the Central Railway Station. The hotel room is quite big, but the single bed is too small! 😂😂 The breakfast is very rich and there are fresh bees. The underground garage is large and the parking is convenient!

Hotel has either been recently build or thoroughly renovated and everything is brand new. Nice and comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Hotel is located aft of Central Train station (with Promenade and Shops!) and on walking distance from City Center. Public transportation very close too so all of Leipzig can be easily reached.

Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant and the parking is only €3. The room was very large with everything one needs in it. The initial contact over the phone went very smoothly too. The whole place is spotless and welcoming.

Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen fand ich super und das Frühstücksbuffet war eine Augenweide. Es war einfach für jeden was passendes dabei. Die Lage ist von der Innenstadt ein wenig entfernt, dafür aber schön ruhig. Danke an das Tolle Team für due Gastfreundschaft.

Excellent service, brilliant food, great location - Chemnitz at its best ! You can walk nearly everywhere you need to and also train and tram are very close. The receptionists were very friendly, I can highly recommend the Hotel.

One of the three foreign-related hotels in Chemnitz in the East German period, very close to the Kauf Shopping Centre, with free parking, very convenient, next door to the Opera House

Das Haus macht insgesamt - zumindest auf den ersten Blick - einen etwas antiquierten Eindruck. Allerdings war mein Zimmer sehr geräumig und gemütlich mit bequemen Bett und einem Schreibtisch, an dem sich auch gut arbeiten lässt. Ich bekam ein für mich kostenfreies Upgrade mit Zugang zur Dachterrasse. Der Service war nicht nur deshalb außergewöhnlich gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht die Wucht, für mich aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Kostenfreie Parkplätze etwa 50 m vom Eingang entfernt. Natürlich aufgrund Lage und Areal mit Wasserschloss zusätzlicher Erholungs- und Freizeitwert. Wir hatten eine kleine Veranstaltung organisiert und unsere Halbtagesgäste waren wirklich extrem zufrieden. Die Räumlichkeiten waren - spätestens auf den zweiten Blick - wirklich top! Normalerweise muss ich nicht in Chemnitz übernachten, aber wenn, würde ich hier wieder buchen.

The room is clean and tidy, I hope to keep it up! The environment is very good, the transportation is convenient, it is convenient to eat, drink and play, the nearby shopping mall supermarket is convenient for shopping, very close to the train station! Public security is very good!

The staff were tremendous and very helpful and polite, particularly the young lady at reception. We arrived for the MotoGP and one of the nice things to do when you get back from the race is to re- watch with the commentary however the wifi in the room was non existent or kept cutting in and out and to say the least was frustrating. Phone signal was also dreadful in the room. Great WiFi in the reception area but not what you need. Our friends watching the football said the reception area telly signal kept cutting in and out so not ideal eh ! Breakfast was great, good value and the person running it was really friendly and efficient. No on site restaurant which was a shame but Burger King very nearby. Train station 5 mins walk away to get into Chemnitz central and access to all the amenities
