This hotel is located at a T-junction, single 2-way lane and a one way lane. The surrounding is not impressive but convenient to get local food and drinks (beer especially) and go around. The room is spacious enough and the clean bed linen gives us a good night sleep. Breakfast is typically Chinese style, soya bean drinks, porridge, boiled eggs and cooked food. No bread and coffee is provided. Nevertheless we stayed there for 10 nights.

Great place! Friendly and helpful staff. I mostly spoke with Wei, as he speaks English. Very helpful, especially a day when I left the hostel, and I unexpectedly had to return! I was already checked in when I arrived at 10:30 pm and got the same room. Super easy! 6-person dorm even has toilet facility in the room! Very convenient! Surprisingly I didn't take many photos of the place - just the roof top view 😹 Oh yeah, there is a roof top! ;) with a pool table.

I wanted to visit Urumqi International Bazzar and this is not the closest hotel. Afraid of booking on a Chinese app and denied of stay to foreigners, I find this hotel on trip.xom which is in close proximity (about 1 kilometer away). My room was nice and very acceptable. I checked in close to midnight and left at 9 o'clock so I didn't get to see the hotel services and amenities. From my 1st impression, this hotel makes the cut to be a good choice for anyone who wants to stay in Urumqi.

As i wanted spacious room, I was willing to pay more, but the duty manager at the time that I checked in said the other room seemed small, because it's a different floor plan. So I told them that I'm an interior designer, so I know what is big and small or even the manager could come and inspect the rooms with me. . After that they allow me to change the room. There're varieties of food for breakfast.

The front desk manager who goes by the name Hunter was excellent and so helpful, as were others staff members. Hunter’s English is great and he answered all my questions with patience and kindness. The ancient city can get very commercialized with a whole row of loud night entertainment joints facing the hotels opposite but non the less for us with inner room facing, it was not noticeable at all. The Kashgar TV Tower is just a short walking distance down the road which is a must see for its observation deck for a bird’s eye view of the city. At night with the lights on ( the ancient city and tower) it is just magical! Furthermore if you buy a certain amount in it’s gift shop you can get a free ticket to go up. Will definitely book this hotel again if coming back.
