Hotel location is super strategic with the metro station accessible right infront of the hotel, there's also a lot of food choices and places to visit around the hotel. The traffic can get super noisy on the weekends, we underestimated how noisy it can get due to the constant honking but luckily it was only on Saturday night, the others days are fine.
The room corridor once you entered the room is too dark, even the toilet and shower is too dark, given how small the shower room is, the darkness makes it feel even more compact and uncomfortable. The mirror area is also not bright enough and there's no small makeup mirror.
The afternoon tea selection is a bit sad while the breakfast option is limited as it's more suited for local taste.
Overall the stay was good but not exceptional.

The hotel's location is convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. All the staff we encountered were incredibly warm and attentive, always doing their best to accommodate our requests. From the lobby to the restaurant, the overall ambiance is soft and understated, which I really appreciate as a hallmark of Marriott's standardized high quality. The restaurant offers a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western dishes, including both hot and cold options.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Xi’an and would absolutely recommend it.
The location is truly exceptional, set בתוך the historic city walls and just a short walk from the iconic Bell Tower. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find plenty of street food stalls, the vibrant Muslim Quarter, and countless restaurants, making it the perfect base to explore the city.
The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially with guests who don’t speak Chinese. A special mention also goes to the breakfast team, who stood out for their attentiveness and friendliness. The breakfast itself was good, with a decent variety to choose from.
The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished in a modern style. I especially appreciated the Dyson hairdryer — such a nice touch to have even while traveling. And the mattress deserves a special mention: one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on, truly outstanding.
I would definitely stay here again. My only regret is that I only spent two nights, because everything about this hotel was simply lovely.

We had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Baoji. The room was spacious and offered a stunning view of the city and the river . The hotel's location is excellent for both sightseeing and business .
A special thank you to Jessica, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, making us feel very welcome. In fact, all the staff were remarkably attentive and professional throughout our stay . The facilities, including the indoor pool and the sky bar on the 40th floor, were top-notch . A truly wonderful experience and probably the best hotel in the city!

My stay in Xi’an this time was truly wonderful. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious with a beautiful sense of design. You can really feel the attention to detail in every corner.
The service was also very thoughtful — from check-in to departure, I felt well taken care of the entire time, which made the experience even better.
My favorite part was the rooftop view. You can see the Xi’an City Wall, and the atmosphere is amazing — it’s also perfect for photos.
Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xi’an, and I highly recommend it to everyone. 👍

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right outside Bell Tower subway station and across from Kaiyuan Shopping Mall, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless, and the gentleman on the ground floor was very welcoming, even helping us with our luggage all the way to the subway entrance when we checked out. Breakfast offered a great variety, and they even had afternoon tea. Our child got tired from exploring in the morning, so we could relax at the hotel with afternoon tea before heading out again in the evening. We forgot to bring a pencil sharpener for our child, and the front desk thoughtfully sent a robot to deliver one to our room. When we checked out, the front desk ladies were all very friendly and even gave us a thoughtful little gift. Next time we visit Xi'an, we'll definitely choose Novotel again.

We booked for 2nights in April and it came with breakfast, first run of minibar, Single Tang Dynasty themed travel photography & Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours Experience. As our room has its own hot bath that fills up every night at 7.30pm to 12.30am, we did not go to the Imperial hot spring which is at located in another building.
Hotel:
It is located in the Hua Qing Palace scenic area and for hotel guests, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely. In the scenic area, there are other eateries like KFC and coffee joints but they operate only during scenic area opening hours. The Hua Qing Palace consists of many cultural sites like Tang Dynasty Imperial Hot Spring Relics Museum, Xi’an Incident site, Five Rooms Hall, Jiulonghu Lake and Furonghu Lake scenic spot, Tang Dynasty Pear Garden Relics Museum and many landmark buildings, such as Feishuang Hall Wanshou Hall, Longevity Hall, Huan Garden and Emperor Yu Palace.
Service:
The staff in the hotel are helpful to assist and answers all my questions in a clear manner. They came with buggy as soon as I dial for them and also assisted us to purchase the tickets for the show.
Photography:
I enjoyed the Tang Dynasty themed travel photography and I find that both make-up artist (Ms Dian Dian) and photographer (Mr Wang Jie) are very professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This photography is conducted by a third-party vendor that is stationed in the hotel. We went to the Hua Qing Palace for the photography. It is a convenient location to take photo with beautiful backgrounds. A day after the photo taking, we went online to choose the photos that I wanted to keep. Customer Service Ms Liang Yanping conducted a live session via a link in wechat, somewhat similar to zoom meeting to showcase all the photos that were taken. The complimentary digital photos given by the hotel are for 3 high quality digital photos and if one wants more than 3 pictures, there will be an extra charge for the purchase.
Food:
The restaurant is located in another building which is about 8minute walk away. Alternatively, we can call the buggy to send us there and back. The food is really yummy and I must say the Chang-an Roasted Whole Chicken is a must try. Also.... the desserts are so good too. With a love for sweet food, I tried the almond lotus paste and also the lychee and redberry cold dessert. They are both gooooood...
Show:
At night, there is a large-scale live-action historical dance drama “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” that is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group Company. The theme of this dance drama is the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Consort Yang. This is a must see as the performance is top notch. Separate tickets must be purchased for the show.
Summary:
For those who want to be in a historical site that offers a hot spa right in your bedroom, this is an ideal place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who are visiting Xi-an and to use this as a last stop in Xi-an before heading to your next destination.

For my trip to Xi'an, I chose the Dongshe Hotel, and its location is absolutely unbeatable, right near the Bell Tower, making it super convenient to visit the Muslim Quarter and Drum Tower. But what surprised me most wasn't the location, but their attention to detail in service. I have to praise the housekeeping; the humidifier in the room was such a thoughtful touch, especially great for those traveling during season changes or to dry areas – my skin didn't feel tight all night. Every staff member I interacted with, from the friendly front desk team at check-in, to the housekeeping auntie, and the restaurant staff, was incredibly sincere and enthusiastic. It wasn't just a professional smile; you could genuinely feel they were dedicated to helping you. The overall experience was fantastic; not only was my stay comfortable, but it also lifted my spirits. The daily afternoon tea and 'goodnight sweet soup' were also thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an; it's definitely worth staying here.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and the whole experience was amazing specially with Muzi (Moot, not sure if this is how it’s pronounced)! From the first encounter she was diligent, thoughtful and patient with all our questions. When we arrived I needed my coat cleaned, the coat had specific instructions for washing and drying, all of them were met and a nasty stain from oil from the day before disappeared. We had noisy neighbours who were constantly speaking between rooms with the door open through the hallway and kids screaming and running around, I shared my concerns with Muzi and less than 2 min someone was on our floor and resolved the issue. We needed to order food to our room and the app wasn’t working, Muzi promptly showed up and ordered food on our behalf and we had a lovely local meal. The hotel restaurant however, we arrived at 20:30 they said they could still serve us even thought the restaurant closed at 21:00, the food was clearly reheated. We complained and they refunded us. While we understand it was late we would have preferred honesty instead of trying to serve us reheated stale and dry food. Overall a great experience a spacious room, clean facilities, great breakfast and great location to visit this amazing city! We will come back 😊

Title: Solid Hardware, Superb Location, Excellent Service: Our High-Efficiency Xi'an Trip's 'Base Camp'
For our family trip to Xi'an, we chose the Hilton Xi'an, and the overall experience was incredibly solid, making it an ideal choice for a high-quality family vacation.
Location (5 stars): Extremely convenient, with a plethora of dining options nearby and excellent transportation links in all directions. For travelers with a packed daily itinerary, this is a fantastic starting point. The breakfast was also very substantial.
Rooms (Solid): Although the room types retain the classic style of an established five-star hotel, they are exceptionally well-maintained. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the facilities were convenient. I particularly want to commend the hot water supply, which was abundant and stable – crucial for muscle relaxation and fatigue recovery after an intense day of travel.
Gym (Pleasant Surprise): When passing by, I noticed the equipment was very comprehensive and professional, and exceptionally well-maintained. This is a huge bonus for guests who maintain a fitness routine, though unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to experience it this time.
Service (Professional): Demonstrated Hilton's consistently high standards, with highly professional and responsive staff.
⚠️ Avoid This (Important):
I strongly advise against the “Suyue SPA” on the third floor, which is independently operated. I tried a 597 RMB “Maldivian-style” treatment, and the experience was truly terrible. As someone who frequently enjoys spa experiences at top-tier hotels in the Maldives and Bali, I found the techniques here to be extremely unprofessional, completely lacking the expected quality, procedural standards, and stress-relieving effects. I recommend that guests who value spa quality avoid this place and not waste their time here.
