The hotel is right next to the scenic area, with a small gate for easy access. The night view of Rong Lake is beautiful; you don't even need to take a boat, you can just stroll around and visit all the sights. The hotel itself has a lot of historical character and is a great spot for photos, offering a wonderful experience. A special thanks to the hotel for upgrading us to a balcony room. The balcony was huge and offered direct views, making it feel very luxurious. The only regret is that, probably because it was on the first floor, there was a slight musty smell due to dampness. The breakfast was also good, slightly exceeding expectations with everything you'd need. Overall, it was really great value for money.

Our first stop in Guilin, and the hotel's location is excellent! It's right near the entrance of Elephant Trunk Hill (Gate 1), surrounded by tons of great food and drink options. There's a 'Banben Guilin' rice noodle place nearby that's absolutely delicious. We also tried a recommended restaurant from the hotel, and they even offer discounts for kids. A huge plus is the VIP通道 (VIP access) from the hotel directly into the scenic area. The facilities are comparable to a 4 or 5-star hotel. From the moment the doorman helped with our luggage to checking out, the service was exceptional. The room itself was great, layout and all. They even offer free costume rentals and complimentary afternoon tea. You can also upgrade to breakfast for a small fee. Parking is conveniently located right outside the hotel. Overall, a fantastic experience!

A truly healing hotel. The environment is absolutely stunning; open the window and you're greeted by picturesque mountains, rivers, and fields. The service is gentle and warm, making you feel very comfortable. I tried the head spa and Zen meditation, and the techniques were professional; I felt completely relaxed afterward. The breakfast is light and healthy, fitting the overall peaceful vibe. The only minor downside is its location within the scenic area, meaning you have to return a bit earlier in the evening, but this also contributes to the tranquility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

In Yangshuo! Living within a landscape painting 🥰 This hotel is absolutely stunning~ The room is huge, with a dedicated walk-in closet and a vanity table 🪞! Plus, there's a super-sized bathtub~ Open the curtains in your room, and you're greeted by a picturesque landscape. Witnessing the awe-inspiring artistry of nature, all your worries simply melt away. No noisy hawkers, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's also an infinity pool 🏊‍♀️ and an outdoor rooftop terrace~ Upon check-in, you can enjoy: ✅ Exclusive afternoon tea ✅ Free bicycle usage ✅ Oil tea making experience ✅ Free use of traditional clothing and professional travel photography service Nearby attractions: ✅ Gongnong Bridge Just a few minutes' walk! From the bridge, you can capture photos of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Sunset and blue hour moments are incredibly beautiful~ At night, you can even see the 'Golden Dragon Parade'. ✅ Shuangliu Ferry Pavilion You can cycle there using the hotel's bikes! The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Along the way, you'll find rice fields, watermills, and ancient bridges, with tons of swings available for free use!!! ✅ Yitian West Street A lively market with lots of snacks, ethnic clothing, jewelry... and a bridge adorned with wishing plaques~ ✅ Yulong River banks Just a few steps from the hotel, you'll find a riverside path. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

We spent our vacation with our family and were absolutely delighted 😍 We especially liked the pool: there are comfortable sofas and tables around it, you can order drinks and food without leaving the water, and just relax. The pool offers an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains — that’s a separate pleasure ⛰️ Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful view. The bathroom is large and has all the necessary amenities: a freestanding bathtub, a separate shower, and a toilet. The minibar was replenished every day. All our requests during the stay were handled very quickly👌 The breakfasts are good, they’re more like European ones — that’s a big plus for foreign tourists. The hotel restaurant is delicious, and the selection of dishes is extensive. There’s a children’s room and two pools for kids, where our children spent the whole day. The hotel is perfect for a family holiday. We recommend it and would be happy to come back again!☺️☀️

Unbeatable location, but seriously disappointing when things went wrong Let's start with the biggest win: this hotel is smack-dab in the middle of absolutely everything! You literally cannot ask for a better spot – walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants, and transport. For location, it gets a perfect 10/10. Now for the tough part. We had the really bad luck that the hotel experienced a major water supply issue during our stay. And I mean major – we couldn't use the toilet, take a shower, or even wash our hands. For any traveler, that's a complete nightmare and honestly unacceptable for a hotel stay. To give them some credit, the hotel did try to smooth things over by offering our entire family free breakfast as compensation. While the gesture was nice, I have to be blunt: free breakfast just doesn't cut it when you can't perform basic daily necessities. For the level of inconvenience we endured – not being able to shower or flush the toilet – the hotel should have offered a much more appropriate solution, such as a partial refund for the affected night(s). My verdict? Book this place for the incredible location – you won't beat it. But my strong advice is: if anything major goes wrong during your stay, don't settle for a free meal. Push for proper financial compensation, because a few croissants and coffee simply don't make up for not having running water. Great spot, but they really need to step up their customer service game when serious issues arise!

📍Yangshuo – So 'city' staying inside the 20 RMB banknote with the kids! Ever since I became a mom, traveling has been all about avoiding hassle. This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. It was so worry-free, I nearly cried tears of joy! @Yangshuo Chen's Garden Resort Hotel 📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds. 🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away! 📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard. 💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out. Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿

The best decision I made on this trip to Yangshuo was staying at Su She. From the moment I got out of the car and they helped with my luggage, I could feel the attentive, butler-style service. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet; she not only helped me plan my itinerary but also recommended some amazing local restaurants – absolutely no duds! The welcome fruit upon check-in and the sweet soup at night were really a nice touch, making me feel right at home. The guesthouse's location is perfect – quiet yet convenient for getting around, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Next time I bring my family, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Since it was the off-season, there were fewer tourists, and some guesthouses nearby had closed down. However, Xianyunju was still doing good business, and the staff's enthusiasm for service didn't wane. They proactively contacted us early to discuss transportation to the hotel and activity arrangements. Upon arrival, they even thoughtfully upgraded our room. The bay window in this room was absolutely amazing, though I regret forgetting to take a picture... Even though fishing and other activities couldn't be arranged during the dry season, the cobblestones in the riverbed were exposed, and we had a great time skipping stones for a whole morning. I highly recommend this for tourists from areas where fireworks are restricted – you can really let loose here, as local fireworks are affordable and come in many varieties, likely because it's a production area. A special thank you to the hotel owner for personally arranging the ancient temple hiking and exploration activity. The kids absolutely loved it!
