1/ the DIDI driver shared that he has fetch many visitors to Gangshe Rooftop View Hotel; 2/ my first impression upon stepping was very good with the staff greeting me enthusiastically which is very welcoming; 3/ then there's free coffee and chrysanthemum tea, too; 4/ checking in was smooth; 5/ when I stepped into the room I just felt the layout and lighting was very pleasant, taking note of the bathroom textured anti slippery flooring; 6/ there are 3 reasons why I chose this hotel — rooftop viewing deck, near shopping and food street and cake for money; 7/ the shower is really good and I believed I spent more time than usual in it; 8/ the tea leaves really helps with staining the day.

This hotel is perfect for travelers who love shopping and good food. Just a short walk from the hotel's right-hand side, you'll find Sifang Pavilion, surrounded by countless alleys offering a huge variety of delicious food. It's incredibly convenient for both exploring and dining. Elephant Trunk Hill Park is also within a reasonable walking distance; you can enter through Gate 3 and exit through Gate 2. The female front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming. A male staff member even escorted me to my room upon check-in and explained how to use the facilities, which left a strong impression. I originally booked for one day and extended my stay for another. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes is perfect – it's peaceful yet central. My room was window-facing, but it wasn't noisy at all. I booked a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a super king room. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely green view, which was such a delightful surprise. The hotel is relatively new, clean, and tidy, with great amenities like a smart assistant (XiaoDu), an electric bidet toilet, a heated towel rack, and a direct drinking water dispenser – fantastic value for money! The service was also very thoughtful; during my two-night stay, a butler handled my laundry daily. The downstairs restaurant served delicious food too. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip; it definitely enhanced my Guilin experience.

I had a truly unforgettable stay here! The staff is incredibly responsive and attentive. A huge shout out to our butler, Mayling Cindy, and our photographer, Xiao Zeng—you both were amazing! Also, it was so sweet of the team to keep me stocked up with drinkable water over the last two days; such a thoughtful gesture! 💧 The desserts were also a highlight, especially the one I had yesterday (absolutely delicious, though I feel bad for not being able to finish both! 😅). But honestly, the room and the view are just on another level—literally breathtaking and beyond words. It’s been so hard to ‘move on’ from this experience! Wishing the whole team nothing but health, happiness, and continued success. May you all be blessed with abundance! Thank you for making this trip so special. ✨

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

Hotel near Silver Beach (Silver Beach Bath&Beach Park),Beihai 76.2% of visitors choose this area
GGuest User 2026.05.17
If a friend asks me to recommend Beihai accommodation, I will not hesitate to recommend this! , The following are some points that I am very satisfied with:, 1. The bed: very large and soft, the bed that sleeps for the first time is very comfortable, 2. The room: the decoration is very simple, the floor-to-ceiling windows are bright, the movie screen and the intelligent voice are easy to use, the hygiene is spotless, there is a bathtub and a bathtub cover, the bottled water is Baisuishan + Jingtian, Refrigerator Coke is free, paper towels are clean and soft, 3. Service: I have lived in many five-star hotels, I personally think that it can be comparable to most luxury hotel services, from the air conditioning in advance before check-in, checkin luggage, breakfast to the front, checkout gift, Bottled water self-service can be seen in the details of the boss is very careful (even there is a rainy day to help collect clothes), 4. Facilities: It is observed that the water in the pool seems to be changed for each guest, and it pays great attention to hygiene. There are washing and drying washing machines, drying balconies, elevators, smart homes and toilets, hair dryers are Suifen negative ions, and even the door is a silent buffer door. 5. Surroundings: There are many charging piles nearby, and the tram is convenient for charging. Parking at the homestay is also convenient and the location is easy to find. , The only small disadvantage is that there are many family and family in the homestay, many children chase and make trouble, and the sound insulation is not perfect.

Hotel near Five Star Street/People's Square,Liuzhou 18.3% of visitors choose this area
WWesam Shaya 2026.04.17
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is the Wyndham Garden Hotel - Liuzhou, offering a truly luxurious experience that easily reaches five-star level or even higher. The hotel has a very prime location in the heart of the city. I stayed in apartment 6008, which faces directly the river and the music fountain—an absolutely stunning view, especially in the evening. The room is very spacious, with a large TV screen and a modern bathroom equipped with a smart toilet. The service is outstanding in every sense. All the staff are extremely kind and professional, especially Eason Huang, who speaks English fluently. Another highlight of the hotel is its attention to detail. Toiletries are provided and refreshed daily, and the mini bar is completely free and regularly restocked with drinks, which is quite rare. The hotel is also very close to the Food Street, where you can enjoy a wide variety of delicious dishes, especially seafood. In addition, the hotel offers a daily open buffet breakfast and free coffee service in the evening. The cleanliness is exceptional—the hotel feels almost brand new. Security is excellent, and during your stay you truly feel like an important guest or even royalty. One of the most memorable experiences was the swimming pool on the 12th floor overlooking the river. I highly recommend staying in apartment 6008, especially for those who appreciate beautiful views and a true luxury experience.

After exiting the highway, it took us about ten minutes to reach the hotel by car. The hotel is centrally located, and the parking lot is in an alley directly opposite the hotel; just follow the signs to park. The hotel lobby is lovely, with excellent views. You can order a fragrant osmanthus latte at the lobby cafe, relax, take some photos, and check in. During the holidays, the front desk staff, as well as all other staff members (including housekeepers and restaurant staff), were incredibly busy but remained enthusiastic and patient, attending to every detail. They even gave us a small souvenir gift after check-out. If I ever visit Guilin again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

GGuest User”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

CChaziyanhong1980The tall lady at the front desk was so welcoming and attentive. My original room was on the second floor, but I wanted a room on the third. She advised me to check it out first, as there would be an extra charge. I decided against it and went back to the second-floor room, only to find the air conditioner's outdoor unit was too close and noisy. She then promptly moved me to a quieter room, and she didn't show an ounce of annoyance throughout the whole process! The room's bathroom was spotless, and the breakfast restaurant was also clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a great breakfast to boot! There was always someone available to help with luggage when going up or down. Plus, they have their own private staircase directly into the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, just a few minutes' walk from Gongnong Bridge. It boasts one of the best views near the bridge, offering a tranquil escape while allowing you to enjoy the gallery's unique peaks right from your room. We even captured some beautiful photos from our room on the first morning. Within walking distance, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options, so you could easily spend several days here even without venturing to further attractions. The service at Jiyun is a major highlight—warm yet discreet, making you feel truly at home. The restaurant may have a limited menu, but the food quality is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. Their beer fish, made with the finest local catch, comes highly recommended. Our two-bedroom suite was very spacious, featuring a sofa and a large table in the living room, making it perfect for families. The room was well-equipped with many home essentials, and with the hotel's laundry facilities, you could comfortably stay for ten days or even half a month.

AAnonymous UserSummary: Highly recommended. First, the hotel's location is excellent, right by the Yulong River, near Gongnong Bridge. After checking in during the afternoon, we drove a scooter to Gongnong Bridge to watch the sunset and then went to see Moon Hill. Second, the hotel's facilities are fantastic and incredibly kid-friendly. During our three-day, two-night stay, we only went to West Street once and took a bamboo raft ride; the rest of the time was spent enjoying all the activities at the hotel! They offer cormorant shows, petting zoo feeding, craft activities, a kids' play area, a rooftop infinity pool, fishing, slides, swings, a sandpit, and even travel photography. The photographer was patient and good at interacting with children, and their editing skills were great. The hotel environment is perfect for photos, with plenty of spots for playing and taking pictures in each building. Finally, I want to talk about the hotel restaurant. They offer complimentary breakfast and an evening sweet soup. Plus, the main meals are delicious, clean, hygienic, and offer great value for money. We even came back to eat at the hotel after going out, haha. When traveling, as long as the kids are happy, any place is fun, especially with such a thoughtful hotel that prioritizes children's happiness and parents' peace of mind.

GGuest UserI absolutely adore this hotel!! The owners were so kind and upgraded me to a room with a floor-to-ceiling window. As soon as I opened the door, the breathtaking scenery of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers came into view. It was truly refreshing and I fell in love with it instantly. The entire hotel has a charming, ancient feel, and the environment is incredibly comfortable. The staff, both the guys and girls, were exceptionally friendly and made me feel immediately calm and relaxed. It’s perfect for a long stay or a meditation retreat. There's a viewing platform on the top floor, ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles were delicious, and the nutritious congee was also very tasty. I highly recommend the hotel's homemade milk dates – wow, I just couldn't stop eating them! Especially with the surrounding mountains and rivers and soothing music, it even made me, someone who usually skips breakfast, have a huge appetite. The room came with a foot-soaking tub and sleep-inducing foot bath sachets, along with roses and Liubao tea, creating a very artistic atmosphere. Oh, and the bedding was super comfortable, and there was a smart toilet. Everything was top-notch, and I was extremely satisfied. The hotel's surroundings are excellent. If you turn left out the door, there's a small path where you can stroll along the Yulong River. A 20-minute walk takes you to Wanjing Wharf and Gongnong Bridge, which is very convenient. Oh, and the owners are incredibly warm and friendly. They responded to every request instantly and even helped me receive a package. When I couldn't find a good spot to photograph the rapeseed flowers, they even guided me via video call. The service was truly exceptional. It's been a long time since I traveled domestically, and honestly, both the accommodation and service here, as well as the price, completely blow the US out of the water. I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms after leaving Yangshuo! A small anecdote at the end: this hotel was found using an AI tool, Gemini. AI truly didn't disappoint me, haha! There's just so much good to say about this place. I will definitely be back! Thank you, owners! 👏👏

KKoi(suisuiqipingan)Staying at Lihua Chen's Garden in Yangshuo was absolutely worth it! The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is incredible; you can directly snap photos with the 20-yuan banknote's background scenery of Chaoban Mountain and Yuanbao Mountain, and every shot is a winner. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer a super cozy view of the Li River. Plus, it's really close to Xingping Ancient Town and the 20-yuan banknote scenic spot. The service is incredibly thoughtful, and there's a delicious breakfast buffet. It felt as comfortable as being at home – highly recommend it!

RRenxiujingCrystalThe B&B's location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. Our room faced the mountains directly, offering immersive views whether it was the lush green scenery on a sunny day or the misty, ethereal landscape when it rained. The bathtub was clean and spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate was a great convenience. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring homemade rice noodles that were truly delicious 😋. The B&B itself was in a quiet spot, very close to the bamboo raft boarding point, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to taxis. It was clean and tidy, and the service was incredibly thoughtful; they answered all our questions enthusiastically. It was an incredibly healing and wonderful stay!

GGuest UserFirstly the location is spectacular, which is the main reason we booked. The view from the room was really beautiful and it was easy enough to get to the old town by boat. Secondly the owner was so lovely and helpful and helped us organise many activities, and even accompanied us on a few. The staff are very responsive and helpful on wechat and helped us organise activities and meals. The dog was also a big highlight for our kids, especially my daughter who even cried about leaving him. The terrace is lovely too and has an amazing view. The meals cooked for us were very nice, and breakfast was adequate. The room is ok, a bit basic but met our needs. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are not sound proof, and therefore you hear every sound in the corridor and stairs. We travelled with young children who go to bed early and they struggled to fall asleep with the noise of kids running, playing and screaming in the hallway. It may not be an issue for those going to sleep later, but for us it was tough. The staff however did respond to our feedback and asked the kids to be quiet, but you do still hear people moving around outside. Overall I would recommend.
