Beach Hotels in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

Não é a primeira vez que fico nesse hotel, dessa vez fiz minha reserva pela trip minha diária estava com a data errada. Por parte do hotel, gerência, recepção, chefe de cozinha… equipe geral. Toda a situação ficou amena e acolhida por eles, mais uma vez me senti perfeitamente acolhida com a hospitalidade deles. Vir em Búzios e não passar pelo Greco não faz muito sentido pra mim! Great hotel with a great location - besides being on Copacabana, Ipanema is also within walking distance. The room was very clean, and you also have great French cosmetics Lóccitane for hair and body. I have no words to describe the great breakfast, which was very rich! I am very happy with my 5-day stay here and would come back again.Free chairs and umbrella on the beach.Amazing view from the bar and rooftop pool.Most delisious coffe I've had her in Rio.

We loved our stay. The breakfast was wonderful, the location is great, and the staff were very polite. The hotel offers 4 EV charging spots and has a fantastic restaurant.

The hotel is well located at the Santos Dumond Airport and their staff is very friendly. You can also get cars easily nearby and the best is their breakfast. Good view, excelent food and good price!

Well-located hotel. Close to the subway, bars, restaurants and the landfill. Breakfast with a good variety. The room could be cleaner because I found the sheets were not very clean on the first day. Very nice terrace with pool, sauna and gym. Good option, but I think they need to take a little more care with the cleaning.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Nacional in Rio. The location is unbeatable — right on São Conrado beach with incredible views and great beach service. While it doesn’t have an endless list of amenities, the ones it offers are more than enough to relax and enjoy a great vacation: a beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff. As a constructive note, Wi-Fi coverage could be improved in some areas of the hotel. That said, we had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely come back!

Great hotel! Great breakfast! One downside: the air conditioner in the room is old and doesn't cool it well. 15-minute walk to the beach.

The environment here is very quiet, so if you have trouble sleeping, this might be a good option for you. On the ninth floor, there's a heated rooftop pool and a gym, and on the ground floor, Western cuisine is served. The airport is about 500 meters directly opposite the pool, and the beach is about a ten-minute drive away. The hotel's back entrance leads to the Metropolitano mall, which features an Australian restaurant, a standard Japanese restaurant, over a dozen small eateries, massage parlors, and a cinema. Sugarloaf Mountain is approximately 28 kilometers from the hotel, and getting there by Uber is quite convenient.

We had a room towards the street in a lower level. The noise from the street was really loud. The room towards the back was completely quiet in comparison. Overall we enjoyed the stay but would be great if they can install better windows to make all rooms quiet.

The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.
