Very nice location, not too far from the main beaches, but more clean and quiet. The ocean view rooms give spectacular views and ocean sounds. The breakfast was good, though there were too many sweet options rather than tasty, healthy food. The rooms are clean, the bathroom could be better (some mold due to high humidity that needs deeper cleaning).

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff (except for the lobby bar that was very bad). Gred Japanese restaurant at the 30t floor. Marveous view. Great breakfast.

Great hotel for Rio business stays,….

Great experience! Even better service. Next time i’m in Rio I plan on staying here again. Only concern are the elevators 😭 make them more efficient.

The hotel is very nice, a real classical beauty. The public spaces and the pool are very nice too, and the breakfast is good. The only thing I really disliked is the Checkin/Checkout process... We lost a lot of time at the arrival, when all you want is get to your room as quick as possible.

Love the location. The rooms have spectacular views of the sea, coastline. The restaurant on the top floor is excellent.

Fantastic luxury hotel, with brilliant pool area. Walk across the street and your on the beach which is soo quiet compared to others in Rio. Rooms are very spacious, the bed and pillows were fantastic, and the view of the beach is worth the extra. Very good breakfast with good choices. The hotel is also very secure with all entry points from the outside covered by security. Only downside is the bar and waiting service at the pool area. 

This hotel is 10/10 can’t fault one thing, please  don’t read the reviews , located on one of Rio’s best beaches by far better any others near by, no restaurants around hotel but you can get Ubers for very cheap , 10 mins to barra or leblon highly recommend great value for money in Rio

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Nacional in Rio. The location is unbeatable — right on São Conrado beach with incredible views and great beach service. While it doesn’t have an endless list of amenities, the ones it offers are more than enough to relax and enjoy a great vacation: a beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff. As a constructive note, Wi-Fi coverage could be improved in some areas of the hotel. That said, we had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely come back!
