The staff was very enthusiastic and helped me buy a calling card and told me where the station was. The room is big and the food provided is also very good. I only booked for one night and stayed one more night
The Victoria Falls Waterfront

Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities. Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.
Ngoma Zanga Lodge
4.4/565 Reviews
The Ngoma lodge was a nice oasis in Livingston! The accommodations were comfortable and the pool was especially nice. The best part of the experience was the wonderful staff and hospitality. Caroline, the manager, took us in as family from day one and made sure we were well taken care of. We received great recommendations on places to eat, to shop, and to have authentic cultural experiences. She connected us with a good driver, Steve, who took us everywhere. Ken, the other manager, was also super friendly and helpful and gave us many insights. He promptly took care of any little requests that came up. We really enjoyed our interactions with Ken and Caroline. The rest of the staff, including the kitchen staff and room attendants Naomi and Destiny were so kind and attentive. Overall our stay at the Ngoma lodge was superb and we were most impressed by the quality of the staff!

Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara

A very interesting hotel with animals that walk past you - BUT the services just don't match the ambience... They have different adapters, like Kenya and Tanzania. They are not in the room, when we asked at the reception they forgot to bring them. There were a huge number of mosquitoes in front of the door to the room, so you let quite a few of them into the room when you opened the door. There were at least 30 of them in the room, so we spent at least an hour before going to bed to kill them all. In the morning at breakfast (which is very good and with a rich selection), we had to ask for napkins, some other tables had them. And the worst thing that you have to be very careful about, we had an activity booked in the morning at say 10.00. We waited in front of the entrance for about 45 minutes and there was no driver!? Then they gave us another car. And in the afternoon things get worse!? We had an arranged helicopter tour and again there was no driver!? We barely caught the last appointment... There at the helicopters they told us that it wasn't even organized, confirmed, and despite the fact that they came to collect the payment the day before, there was no host working for them... I went to see the general manager, who was not too happy about the matter interested... (poli poli - hakuna matata - slowly , no problems- relax) In short, you have to be very careful when booking activities. Finally, a lady at the reception booked us a transport to the airport (her colleague's?), which left us at the wrong airport. Fortunately, they are both very close... I probably forgot to mention something, because the ambience is really very nice and interesting, but the service is really not at the level of all that.
Café Zambezi House of Africa - Hostel
3.6/54 Reviews
Careful staff, decent rooms (towels and soap) and clean despite the mosquitoes (mosquito nets are provided and you can ask for a spray at reception). Large choice of affordable menu with local products and menus. Delicious and hearty game meat and crocodile. The place is nice and well located. Be careful, the bar overlooks the rooms, it is better to take your earplugs if you go to bed early. Otherwise don't hesitate!
New Fairmount Hotel and Casino

Stay at Fairmount hotel was like staying at home, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The experience was overall excellent - Euphrasia called to check about the airport pick up, Dawney ensured that there was internet by providing me with a mobile router. Ms. Anita and Ms. Subhasini the GM of the hotel ensured a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay was the Indian food that i took every day - Kadai Chicken and Mutton Rogah Josh with Garlic naan and Tandoori roti were excellently prepared by well trained chef. Thank you everyone for making my stay very comfortable and memorable.
Jollyboys Backpackers
4.5/546 Reviews
Very good value for money, a bar with a meal, and a kitchen where you can cook. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, there are many good restaurants within ten minutes, the post office is nearby, it is very convenient to send postcards, there are also several nearby that want to change local currency, you can compare. Music is played at night, but the volume and time are controlled. If you need a break for long trips, this hostel is a good choice.

Nice spot with good service. They supported us well. Please use a 4x4 during rainy season. Due to close rail tracks.

What a fantastic Zambian welcome at Protea Marriot Hotel. From the lovely Ireen and Natasha at reception who were warm and interested in our adventures each day, to our spotless room cleaned by Forstina to great conversations and service from David, Raymond and Everisto to the plentiful and tasty cuisine provided by a team of excellent chefs …. I could go on and on - just wonderful service from every member of staff we came across!! Best 3 night break in a long time ; wonderful decor and ambience and world class service - you will be more than satisfied if you pick this hotel 10/10 and Zikomo 👏🏾
