Every was great: good location, close to everything, excellent top-floor room with terrace with amazing view, comfty bed with multiple pillows, loft style room, safe place - there are some beggars around the property but they are not aggressive, grocery shop in 1 min walk, fast check-in and check-out, perfect cleaning.
This hotel located in a very convenient location for tourists, right on the Plaza Independencia in the city center, walking distance to all the sightseeing sites, facilities are quite good, breakfast was above average, however if you want to go out for dinner after hour, there're very few dining options around, most restaurants closed before 8pm, even though Montevideo is generally safe, that area behind the hotel was dark and gave eerie feeling.
Conveniently located about 10 minutes on foot from Independence Square. The first floor is under renovation, and the elevator feels old, but I received sufficient service for the price.
The location is very good, just turn a corner from the attraction. The hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance is not bad, the room is very spacious, the room we live in is also very quiet, the front desk English can be friendly, the elevator is a bit narrow, and it seems to be very unsafe 😂😂 breakfast is a bit poor 😑
Decaying hotel and installations.
Needs repair/retrofit urgent.
The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made.
The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty
the whole experience was a nightmare.
The location is far from the city center, but there are shopping malls nearby. There is no light on the top, and the overall room is dark. The facilities feel a bit old, but it is a standard Hilton.
At first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos.
The hotel is very well located. It is a few meters from July 18 with a exchange house (with the best prices I have found in Uruguay) very close. Easy bus access, the point if I don't mislead is less than 100 meters. Breakfast is very good, the options are very repeated, but very tasty. The bathroom left a little to desire with that model with a bathroom below, it can be dangerous for older people and very uncomfortable for me that has 1.81 heights. Some of the dressing were in a strong smell and I simply ignored it. The air conditioning was not so well, it took a long time to freeze the room. The bed was two beds of singles, which was a little more comfortable. I'm not very nice to go to the hotel, because I'm not very nice to go to the hotel. I'm not very nice to go to the hotel. I'm not very nice to go to the hotel.
Everything was excellent. The room had recently been redecorated and was very clean, the restaurant is superb, hotel staff was very friendly and pointed us to interesting places in the city. It is at a central location in the city so it's great if you're planning to explore by walking on the rambla. We hope to visit again soon!

GGuest UserAlthough the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy, and the front desk service is also very good. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
888Tony88Hotel Costanero Montevideo - MGallery is located in Pocitos, right in front of Pocitos beach. The hotel has a modern contemporary interior design, and it is beautifully decorated. The hotel is situated about 35 minutes
drive to Carrasco International Airport.
We stayed Hotel Costanero Montevideo - MGallery for 1 night, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, bar, and all the staff at Cauce made our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed.
Breakfast is served at Cauce restaurant located on the 1st floor overlooking the beach and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee. We were given 2 complimentary welcome drinks at the bar.
The swimming pool and sauna are located on the 2nd floor and are clean and new. The gym is new and equipped with modern cardio and weight equipment.
Our room is a king-size room overlooking the beach on the 3rd floor. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, and the bed linen and towels were impeccable. We can enjoy the seaview by lying on our bed.

BBryce van de LaarWe spent two nights in Alquimiste and we never wanted to leave! The guesthouse which is almost 100 years old is full of antique furniture, original artwork, and even has a lookout tower on the 4th floor boasting 360 views of the Carrasco neighborhood.
It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and very close to some of Montevideo’s most famous restaurants. Carolina and Mark are delightful and happy to help with anything.
The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfasts is a real treat. Hot croissants, freshly baked scones with marmalade and cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautifully plated granola we’re just some of our favorites.
Staying at Alquimiste, you really feel like you are apart of something special!
KKORHAANThe hotel is located in the historic neighborhood, close to the port for those coming from Buenos Aires. It is easy to access. Breakfast is excellent for the price requested. The room is small but contains everything you need except a hairdryer.
Kk0sm0It's a hotel near the Independence Square in Montevideo, so I think it's a good place to stay for sightseeing purposes, but I have some points to worry about, so I'll point out that. First of all, the soundproofing is weak, not only can you hear the sounds and voices from the corridors and stairs, but also the sounds from the outside. From midnight to morning, I couldn't sleep easily and felt uncomfortable because I could hear the noise of people who were running EDM and making noise clearly. Next, the overall aging was progressing, and the water in the shower room on the upper part of the room was leaking little by little, but the lower part of the room was leaking. I put up with it because it was still a small amount, but I felt that I needed repair soon. Finally, it was nice to have a unique room and floor plan, but I was worried that the details were broken or not moved. As a hotel, I got the impression that it was fashionable and clean for the season, but there was something to worry about, so I think it's good to consider whether to stay based on that.

XXIAOJUNBreakfast is quite good, although the choice is relatively small, but the quality of the product is very good, the fruit is very fresh, and the omelet technology is first class. Mainly the room is very clean and comfortable, the surrounding environment is also good, there is a pizza restaurant next door is very good, just ten minutes walk from the city center. Overall, the price is very high.
LLanaStar13The hotel is located right opposite the station. Very convenient, so chose. Comfortable bed, white skiing, what you wouldn't say about towels. Well, why don't hotels provide at least one small bottle of water? ! I had to go to the supermarket, too across the road. For breakfast you can say almost nothing. Toast bread, butter, jam, one kind of cut cheese and ham, coffee, milk, juice and mushrooms. There were no vegetables, no fruits, no yoghurt. Baking 2-3 the species is absolutely tasteless. Omlet is required. Otherwise it would still be hungry at all. It is possible to stay overnight, but breakfast is definitely not recommended to take.
