Hotels With Bar in Evora District, Portugal

The best thing without a doubt is the location, a few meters from the main square. The hotel is just average. Furniture in the room and bathroom is somewhat old and worn, without plugs on the bedside tables. In short, to spend a couple of nights it may be worth it. If you are looking for something better, choose another of the multiples in the surrounding area.

I have travelled with my cousin and we loved the location and the modernity of the hotel. Beds were very comfortable and firm which provided for a very good night sleep. Shower was fantastic and the marble all around gave us a feeling of cleanliness and care. The indoors pool is small but enough for a relaxing momento after the morning workout. Kind service throughout the stay. :))

Hotel is located just outside the old city walls so it is easy to explore the old city on foot. There is an underground garage for guests to use. facilities are good and breakfast is decent but somewhat limited due to few staff. The main asset we found is the staff - a team of nice and very helpful young people. Whatever we asked for, the response was immediate and positive. All in all an excellent starting point to explore Evora and the surrounding area.

The same Pousada series, this is an old castle. It is also very flavorful. For breakfast, you must try the famous local Iberico sausage. The tower opposite the front desk must be climbed to see the panoramic view of the small town. The restaurant next door, the venue used to be a prison, the environment is very flavorful, the dishes are very delicious, I even had two dinners

Had a wonderful stay at the Convento de Arraiolos, even if a slightly eventful. Arriving late at night, we found the reception empty and had to wander though the hotel grounds - which are not small - searching for someone to talk to. Eventually we found the restaurant and a member of staff sent word to the receptionist. I couldn't help but wonder if we weren't interrupting the young lady's dinnertime... She was very apologetic for the absence, and even told us to use the internal pool and sauna, even though it was already well beyond operating hours. Both pools are excellent, and the sauna soothing after a very long day. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast quite good - don't miss the local cheeses and bread! Even though the hotel seemed to be running quite short staffed - which may account for the fact we found uncollected trash in the bathroom bin - the staff were impeccable and highly professional. Moreover, the tennis court is in a state of disarray, the pavement sure looks in need of a makeover. All in all definitely recommended for a wonderful stay and relaxation, just some management decisions seem baffling, at a place run by a brand of such reputation as the Pestana group.

Peaceful place, in an historic building, wonderful view from the hill to the castle walls and city. Book upper floors rooms. Very clean and comfortable. The pool area is comfortable, grass floor, umbrellas and chairs available. Breakfast is ok, enough choices. Indoor room, wish it would have seating outside.

Excellent facilities, extremely attentive staff, the rooms are of very good quality, you sleep very well, very well soundproofed, you couldn't hear any noise from the other guests. Impeccable breakfast adapted for celiacs. I highly recommend

Hotel very well located, with privileged views of Alqueva and Castle de Mourão. The room was very comfortable and was very clean. Very pleasant outdoor space with children's and adult swimming pools. The pool bar and restaurant with good options and suitable prices. I emphasise the sympathy of the staff, always available.

Parking is convenient and close to the Evora Cathedral and the city walls. Breakfast is really great! Better than the famous 5-star hotels in Porto. It was such a shame that I could only stay for one day.
