Hotels With Bar in Wellington, New Zealand

The Angus Inn is ideally situated. It's directly opposite the Queensgate Mall and only a few minutes walk from the Lower Hutt Bowling Club where we were attending a function. The Inn has all the facilities that you need such as a laundry and a restaurant. The booking went like clockwork with no hassles. An enjoyable stay.

It was Christmas when I was there so many shops were closed on actual day of christmas. Location is good, just not too pleasant for suitcase lugging during holidays when everything is closed including the building's escalator. Overall it was an ok hotel. They don't do cleaning everyday and they missed my room the second day morning. Need to inform them if you want your room made up. That was a little disappointing. Thankfully my stay was short. I asked for new towels and they gave me, so that was fine.

Had a great visit to Wellington. Enjoyed the hotel and the service was excellent. As with most Hotels we have stayed at recently they are a bit dated. Room was very clean, room service was good and the bathroom was excellent and looked to have been renovated in recent years. All in all very happy with our stay.

A hotel for the location really. Perfect for an early morning flight. The view out the windows to the construction area below isn't great, but you don't stay here for the views. Nice smooth check-in and check-out, even at 5am.

It's a great experience. The value for money is there and the location is wonderful with next to zero noise at night. Staff is friendly and helpful and daily housekeeping is on point. It would be better to provide body lotion in the room, and TV produce some flashing light from the back after turning off can be slightly troublesome. I also try the food, they have daily deals and happy hours.

A very satisfying stay experience, a very old hotel with a long history and traditional culture. I am very happy to experience life in this environment. There are no windows, no landscape design and a big bed.

The room was just what we wanted, plus perfect to all the sites we wanted to visit within walking distance, highly recommended but a little maintenance is needed in the room we had, the toilet continued to run after flushing until one of us hit the flush button again, (half flush) the shower leaked at one of the connections ( must have been known as it showed calcium buildup) otherwise it was brilliant…

The room is very airy, the design is reasonable, the parking place is outside the window, and there is also a direct exit. The front desk service attitude of the hotel is good, the hotel is located in the center of the town, it is very convenient to eat and shop.

Walkable to railway station and Bluebridge ferry and close to town centre for shopping, eating and museum. Comfortable and quiet Good option for a convenient one night stay.

The hotel front desk service is professional and polite. I met a Chinese waiter who enthusiastically introduced the route. There is a free chocolate party every afternoon and rich content in the morning, which is very convenient for guests staying in the hotel.
