Corazón Cabo, a Noble House Resort

Our stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short. The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way. We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience. The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity. Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience. Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room. Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much. In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo.

I want to spotlight an employee, Ricardo was our server while lounging on the beach portion of the resort. Ricardo was working harder than anyone I saw, constantly moving, taking orders, delivering orders, setting umbrellas, getting towels, he is a dynamo. In addition, I paid twice for an order, as it was charged to my room but I gave him cash, Ricardo honestly pointed out the mistake and gave me the money back & left it on the room charge. He also handled some rude drunk women, very graciously. This type on employee makes me want to revisit your establishment. Thank you for having him there, his is an asset to your company.

Hampton inn was advertising the hotel like it had a swimming pool but guess what the pool is under reinnovation so there was no pool for my Christmas holiday. Had I known this in advance I would have booked another hotel. The hotel was okay and a good value for the money with the pool but without a pool it's just a hotel in the middle of nowhere without any amenities. I couldn't even really tell I was by the beach because I had a mountain view because I had a mountain view because I had a mountain view. There was no way to really look at the ocean because of course there was no pool and breakfast was monotonous the same thing every single day no variance no difference and basically know meat I would say it was a very substandard breakfast and unappetizing and not really hot. Only canned juices and no decaffeinated coffee. I would not stay here again without a pool. And be careful when you get a room because some of the rooms are moldy and the ice machine are broken on every floor except for in the main lobby. This hotel needs a little money pumped into it and the pool restored to working order. The two queen bedroom was roomy put with no pool I didn't really enjoy my experience. Staff was professional but I'm sure they're tired of hearing people complain about the fact that a hotel that advertises a pool doesn't actually have a pool that functions. The daily fruit options were not exactly what I would call fresh either a little rancid. The attached pictures are of the broken ice machine signs the less than fresh fruit, and the sealed off entrance to the pool.

The food was pretty decent, some dishes not great but overall much better than the other resort we were at first. The entertainment was also WAY better than the other resort. Lively & friendly staff. Some staff members are amazing, some are just a little slow. Triple check your information as not everyone is on the same page about how things work here. Bring small bills! It's like pulling teeth to make change here. Coffee stand isn't included in all inclusive & robs you blind, good coffee though. Beautiful scenery. Thanks to Annie, Javier, Amy, Umberto & Jeanine. They made pool side a blast. Special shout out to Jorge, best waiter around!
Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa, A la Carte All Inclusive Optional

We were welcomed by the bellboys at the front entrance. Upon arrival, it was an easy 10 minutes to check-in, and were in our room and off to the pool within 30 minutes. The pool was nice and nothing to do with the hotel, but the pool was hot due to the weather being almost 90 degrees and sunny. The service at the pool was great, the workers have such a great attitude and are always willing to help. There is a 2nd pool overlooking the marina with spectacular views of the mountains, water, and yachts along the marina walkway. It is located within 5 minutes of downtown with tons of restaurants, shops, and music from all the nightclubs, as well as live music at some of the outdoor venues. It's very busy on the weekends and less crowded during the week. The hotel offers an all-inclusive package, however, we did not purchase it, but did have breakfast the last day and it was $20.00 USD per person. Overall, a great hotel, and we can't wait to go back !

We have positives and negatives about the staff, 2 of the guys serving drinks were great, Pelipe and Alfredo were amazing, we cannot fault them. They always had a smile and made us feel great! However Fidel Castro was unbelievably rude and unfriendly, he made us feel uncomfortable and we didn’t like this services around the pool, but we will not visit again until he is not here.

Just don't bother. I booked 2 rooms back in February for our stay in August. I paid the balance a week before the trip. When I arrived I was told that they couldn't verify the deposit I made in February or that I had paid the remaining balance. I showed them proof of both because I printed and saved the documentation for all payments. I was told by the front desk staff (Abraham and Itzel) that they close payments take a day to show up. When I told them I paid a week ago then the story changed. After them rudely telling me multiple times I had to pay $529.47 as an incidental fee whilst the lady next to us was told $200 for her incidental fee, I had enough. They said that they had to call Reservations to confirm which was conveniently closed at the time even though i called reservations 3 times that week to confirm what was needed for check in. My friend brought up to them that their contracts said $100 for incidental fees that we signed and they said their solution for us was for us to hold $200 on one card and $300 on another card implying that they thought we didn't have the money. The whole time the two of them were conversing back and forth in spanish as if I didn't understand them as they did not know that Spanish is actually my first language. At this point I opted to speak to her in Spanish to which she stared at me baffled and then called her manager Michael. Michael told us that they couldn't verify the deposit so we had to pay the money. I asked him why and he said they closed the nooks monthly so it wasn't showing on their screen. I informed him that we paid it in February and showed him proof. Therefore if you close books monthly then you have it. I informed him that I was here and heard Abraham tell the woman next to us that the fee was $200. At which point he told us that we had to paid incidentals of $200 per room and that was all. Upon getting to my room I was disappointed with how dated it was. The restaurant ans bar staff were amazing. I had a great time and much better customer service next door at the Grand Solmar. We came for a group event and all the people at the event had the same or worse experiences. At check out they had their ducks in a row on everything though in order to get money they thought was owed to them. Upon leaving the resort I discovered that I and several others are covered in rashes that appear to be bug bites. I will never stay here again.
Bahia Hotel & Beach House

Alan at the pool bar was amazing. Great smile and energy and attitude. The most redeeming quality about this place. The rooms are clean and the restaurant has a nice vibe, as well as the beach club. Do not eat anything from the room’s mini bar. I was sick one day and thought maybe I needed to eat something so I could take some medication. But, what was u able to eat it because it was so stale. And they charged us more than $5 for a tiny pack of stale chips. What was the most disappointing to us was the poor communication by both the check-in staff (who told us that they were also the manager, Marta) and the restaurant staff. When Marta checked us in, she told us that the breakfast was included and to just go to the restaurant. She clearly said that the restaurant would give us what would look like a bill and not to worry- that it would not be charged to our room but only for their records. I even went back downstairs after unpacking and asked a second staff member who confirmed what Marta had said. However, on the second day, after we ate breakfast a second time, my partner thought it prudent to ask again and was told that the only free breakfast was free was the “American breakfast” and that we were being charged about $60 for our breakfast each day! When I went to talk with the manager about it, she told me that she had said it was the American breakfast, but she did not. Neither me or my partner hears it. And the second staff member did not say that. And my reservation simply says “free breakfast included.” Nothing more specific than that. And the restaurant staff never said anything to us to clarify. Marta also said that they sent me an SMS text to explain this , but I never received any message from the hotel about this. As we told her this, Marta then tried to tell us that my reservation does not come with feee breakfast at all. Funny that she remembered telling me about my free breakfast 30 seconds earlier. So, I then had to pull out my reservation confirmation to show her clearly that it did come with the breakfast. Not only was I met with a very poor attitude, there was no attempt done to fix the problem and no apology.

The staff were particularly helpful and super friendly at all times, so that made up for okay amenities (the pool was a bit cold at night and harder to go for a quick swim but we managed). We did love the beds, they were incredibly comfy and the room we got was quiet so we were able to have a restful sleep. The breakfast was okay but I would have loved some veggies that they apparently had at some point, yet never brought back out again. The coffee was pretty solid though, so that was a plus. Lastly, the location was gold-walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and places to book tours. Overall, it fulfilled its purpose for our two-night stay :).

The hotel is nice. It face the beautiful ocean and with three lovely pools. The inclusive package includes breakfast lunch and dinner. The food are average but plentiful. the problem is the two oversized receptionistsin the front desk, They checked us in late was in helpful and rude. They seem more keen to serves American than us. The female keep reminding us we are on a “cheaper” package…The manager try hard to verify the situation, but their attitude really spoilt a great holiday. The room is spacious the staffs in the guest service and restaurants are good. They’re plenty of hotels in the area I’m sure they’ll offer a better experience.
