ClurIt's my absolute favourite hotel in Manchester, and stayed here many times.
Check-in is always professional, and they are very accommodating ( we got there at 10 am), so we could leave our bags safely.
I normally book the two double-bed rooms, but because I was sharing with a friend, I thought the twin room would be fine. I was quite disappointed in the room tbh, very small and crammed into a corner, no views and round the back past the gym, so not in the big high-ceilinged part of the building id be used to and not much less in price than I usually pay. i wanted my friend to be blown away, and she wasnt ( with the room), but as always, the Kimpton redeemed itself with the 5-6 social hour and the beautiful bar for drinks. Overall a nice stay and they gave us late check out and allowed us to use the gym to change!

yikic2000[Manchester Airport Hotel | Convenient and Clean, but the lack of an in-room phone and having to go down to the lobby is a real pain!]
This place is super convenient if you're just looking to catch a flight or a train, but some small details really bring down the score.
The Good:
Top-notch location: Perfect for those catching early flights or making connections! It’s incredibly close to both the airport and the train station, just a few steps away. You won't even break a sweat dragging a big suitcase, and that's truly unbeatable.
Clean and simple room: The room hygiene was well-maintained, clean and tidy. The decor is simple and comfortable, and the bed was pretty good for sleeping. Overall, it's a decent place to stay.
The Bad:
The iron was broken: I wanted to iron a shirt only to find out the steam iron was broken and completely unusable. The maintenance of the facilities is just average.
No phone in the room! This is truly the most infuriating part!
There was absolutely no phone in the room. If you wanted to contact the front desk or housekeeping for help (e.g., to replace a broken iron), you couldn't call anyone. To solve any problem, you had to personally take the elevator down to the lobby to find someone. Going up and down and running around was incredibly inconvenient and a huge waste of time.
Summary:
If you're just looking for a convenient and clean place to sleep for a night before catching a flight, this hotel is worth considering. However, be prepared that if anything in your room breaks, you'll have to go down to the lobby in person for assistance.

Guest UserEnjoyed our 1 night stay for work/pleasure. The hotel is in a great location 10mins walk from Piccadilly station and 5 mins to the well connected tram. We paid extra for the breakfast which was very nice, the breakfast staff are lovely and attentive with anything you need. The hotel and room was clean but the Tv remote was really dirty which was strange to miss such a detail. The young lady on check in (blonde) was really kind, helpful, friendly and patient since I was checking in alone with my toddler to start with whilst my husband worked. I got a complimentary birthday drink which was nice. The young lady on check out (black/dark hair) was not so friendly or patient, quite a stern attitude, did not smile or acknowledge us ever when passing in and out of reception. Our baby came down sick in the night and we were running 15-20mins behind the 11am checkout, settling and getting him ready so we called down with a heads up and she said no, not possible, the cleaners will be knocking on your door at 11am. It was just the handling of it and the manner.

Guest UserLocation: Great. It's close to Manchester Oxford Road train station, with bus stops, an art gallery, Chinatown, and two supermarkets nearby.
Do note that the hotel is split into House 1 and House 2, and the entrance to House 2 is a bit hidden.
Staff Attitude: The staff were very friendly. They were concerned I wouldn't find the entrance and walked me there. Thank you! ❤️
Facilities: The room only has a hairdryer, towels, hangers, shower gel, and a TV. Everything else needs to be brought by yourself. House 2's common room has a coffee machine and hot chocolate (for £2).
Overall, I think the value for money is very good, and the space is quite large.
Downside: Every time I opened the door, there was a damp smell, which only disappeared once the room's power was on and the air conditioning started working. The carpet and walls are a bit old.

Adeyinka AdeniranOutstanding hospitality and superb facilities
As someone who travels frequently for business, I am used to standard hotel procedures, but the team at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel completely blew me away for this leisure stay. They responded brilliantly to our pre-arrival requests, upgrading us to a beautiful King Skyline room and adding thoughtful touches like a welcome note from the manager and complimentary drinks. The hotel’s physical assets are in top shape, the 2nd-floor pool and sauna are peaceful and high-quality, and the breakfast service was seamless despite a busy weekend. Exceptional execution by the management and front-desk team.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located next to manchester picadilly train station. I travelled from London to manchester by train so it is super convenient for me to stay here. There are many supermarkets and cafe around such as sainsbury local, mark & spencer, co op, greg and cafe nero.
The staff is very helpful and attentive. The room is modern. I request for 4 single beds and my request is well accommodated. The room is fully equipped with kitchen utensil. They are very clean and useful for preparing breakfast for my kids. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The room is well maintained and air con works really well. Shower room is clean and not slippery. After checking out, the hotel staff allowed me to leave the luggage with them for a few hours.
Will be back here again next time I come to Manchester.

Anonymous UserThe room is clean and comfortable, with lots of space to store luggage and stuff. I was quite surprised to see the coffee maker and refrigerator inside the room. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

RaymTOverall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent, especially for those travelling via Manchester Airport. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was larger than I had expected.
The only downside was the breakfast, which I felt was not worth paying extra for. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again.
