The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the security was excellent. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Everything was great, room is clean, stuff is friendly. During winter time the location is not great coz all the shops around are closed even KFC and Starbucks but this not hotel’s fault. The breakfast is a bit Chinese but foreigners also can find a lot of options to eat. The only thing I didn’t like is that during the breakfast there was a jar of Nutella but in fact that wasn’t Nutella just some cheap chocolate spread - just use another jar so people won’t be confused.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! We stayed for four days with our kids, and every day was a joy. The dining options were convenient, and the accommodations were very comfortable. We were satisfied with every aspect. We'll definitely be back next winter season. I love the Genting Grand Hotel. The staff at the Blue Lake Restaurant were exceptional, always smiling and ready to answer any questions. The front desk service was also great, resolving issues quickly. The cleaning staff were very diligent and polite. My only unpleasant experience, and why I can't give a perfect score, was at the ski resort's ticket exchange counter. The first time, I accidentally handed over my driver's license instead of the correct ID, and the staff member immediately looked annoyed and unhappy. Then, on the morning of January 20th, I went to exchange tickets again. I wasn't sure if I should use the same card or get a new one, so I simply asked. The woman at the first window suddenly started shouting, ”I'll give you two new cards!” It startled me so much that I was speechless for a while. I've never experienced such service at a five-star hotel. After that, I discovered a lovely and kind young lady with a bob haircut at window 3, and I made sure to go to her every time. She always had a sweet smile and chatted with me a bit.

I've skied in Chongli many times, staying at hotels like Holiday Inn Fulong, Yunzhen, and Crowne Plaza. Among them,麓山 (Lùshān) stands out for its design and excellent service. As soon as you enter the room, there's a dedicated space for ski equipment. The hotel staff are very observant, always ready to help guests with their luggage. The housekeeping aunties are also wonderful, promptly refilling water whenever requested. The hotel breakfast is quite rich, though it lacks local specialties. I personally prefer Yunzhen's lamb soup, tofu pudding, huangmi gao (millet cake), and other local dishes. There's one area for improvement in the hotel's breakfast service: I understand the hotel doesn't want guests overeating and then packing up a bunch of food. However, if a guest hasn't finished the food they took, they should be allowed to take it away, rather than it being wasted or thrown out. Or worse, putting it back for other guests to use? Also, shouldn't guests be allowed to just take food to go without dining in? The hotel should definitely improve on this point; the 4.5 rating is for this. Finally, regarding skiing: I've seen comments criticizing the lack of ski-in/ski-out access. Perhaps for beginner skiers, it's a bit inconvenient to have to go to Genting first. But for intermediate and advanced skiers, you can ski directly from the hotel to the Taizicheng Hotel, and from there, access to the gondola is very convenient. Since there's no collaboration with Genting ski resort this year, the ski rental hall at 麓山 (Lùshān) isn't crowded, offering a sense of calm and tranquility. There's none of the bustling crowds, just the pure joy of flying through the snow. I'll definitely come back next time; the family room is spacious and practical.

The room was large and clean, the baby liked it very much, the gym and laundry room were very convenient. The hotel service is also great, with the baby sent a lot of small snacks, and also helped with luggage. Stay here next time you pass by

The hotel has a great location with convenient transportation. This time, we stayed on a high floor, and the view was absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire city. It was a really good experience for us.

Our butler, Cindy, provided excellent service. She was incredibly responsive to all our requests and even proactively offered help, paying attention to every detail. Her service was definitely the most pleasant part of my business trip. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. As a thoughtful gesture, she even gave me some of the hotel's homemade cookies when I checked out. Next time I'm in Shijiazhuang, I'm definitely staying at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang Fuli again!

I originally booked an executive room, but upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and easy. While we waited for our room to be cleaned, they proactively offered us drinks and even delivered welcome fruit to our room. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Although a few areas showed a bit of age, overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel also offers free parking. Right downstairs from the hotel are Dazhao Park and the Anti-seismic Memorial Hall (currently closed for renovation), making them convenient to visit. It's about a 15-minute drive from the hotel to Tangshan Feast and Nanhu Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant offers all-day dining, and the breakfast selection is extensive. The executive lounge has been moved to the first floor, providing happy hour drinks and fruit in the afternoon, and a light dinner in the evening. The light dinner was surprisingly good! 👍 It included six hot dishes, with noodles, wontons, and rice as main courses, along with several cold dishes and various alcoholic beverages. The only downside was a layer of dust on the headboard in the room, which was a bit off-putting. I hope they can improve their hygiene management.

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. Since it’s opened not long ago, things were in immaculate condition. Breakfast spread was decent with ample varieties to get through. All in all an enjoyable stay and would return.

This downtown hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Our high-floor room offered amazing views, and the dedicated elevator meant no waiting. Just downstairs was a pedestrian street, with direct metro and bus access within a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's free parking for those driving – incredibly convenient for getting around. The bedding was just the right firmness, and breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western. They even had afternoon tea with exquisite desserts and drinks. The robot food delivery was fast and adorable, saving us the hassle of running errands and making our stay completely stress-free. The amenities were incredibly comprehensive: a 24-hour gym with equipment, and a laundry room equipped with dryers and detergent – super practical for long trips. From check-in at the front desk to responding to our requests, the staff were consistently warm, enthusiastic, and efficient, making the entire experience truly exceptional. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!
