GGuest UserBefore my trip to Chongqing, choosing accommodation was my biggest dilemma, but this hotel turned out to be the most satisfying choice! 1: The location is absolutely superb. It's only a two or three-minute walk from the Metro Line 6 exit, making it incredibly convenient to get to all parts of Chongqing. 2: The hotel is situated at the crossroads of several large residential areas, offering extremely convenient access to daily necessities and amenities. There's an abundance of amazing local food options nearby, including Xiaomian noodles, hotpot, malatang, grilled fish, fermented glutinous rice soup (láozāo), and braised dishes – all authentic old Chongqing flavors, absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻 3: The hotel environment is meticulously maintained, exceptionally clean, hygienic, and tidy. It far exceeds other hotels of its class in Chongqing and is comparable to many five-star establishments. The soundproofing in the rooms is superb; there's no outdoor noise, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable sleep. 4: Most importantly, the front desk service is absolutely outstanding, with highly professional and attentive staff. They are patient, meticulous, and incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtful with all requests, from general inquiries and providing travel tips/itineraries to even refilling water. The excellent service from the front desk team is a major reason for this hotel's high rating. I strongly recommend the boss gives them a significant pay raise! 😁😁😁 I highly recommend this hotel – it's an absolute must-stay when visiting Chongqing!!!

SSt_SongRegent Chongqing: Exquisite Details for a Perfect Riverside Mountain City Getaway My stay at the Regent Chongqing was easily one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had in years. From its location and room details to the dining services, every aspect far exceeded my expectations, truly embodying a blend of 'luxury' and 'warmth.' Location and Views: Overlooking Hongyadong Across the River, Boasting Unbeatable River Views The hotel is situated in the Jiangbeizui Central Business District, right next to the Jialing River, directly across from the Yuzhong Peninsula. My river-view room featured panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The glittering lights of Hongyadong and the boats passing on the river created a dynamic tableau. Especially at 'The Riverview Bar' on the hotel's seventh floor, sipping a specialty cocktail and enjoying the evening breeze from the Jialing River while gazing at Hongyadong, you get the best vantage point without having to brave the crowds. Room Experience: Impeccable Details, Blending Smart Technology with Human Touch The rooms feature a new Chinese design, are spacious (even the basic room type is 57㎡), and are equipped with a smart toilet, electric curtains, a Dyson hairdryer, and a coffee machine. What pleasantly surprised me most was that the minibar was not only complimentary but also thoughtfully stocked with Chongqing's local snacks, soft drinks, and even beer and wine. The bathroom has a scenic bathtub, and the hotel offers various bath options like bubble bath, rose, or lemon. There's also complimentary laundry service daily, which is incredibly practical for guests on an extended stay. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Service: Truly the 'Pinnacle of Service' From the proactive communication by the guest service center after booking, to the concierge's initiative in helping with luggage and parking, and the front desk's efficient check-in, the service was seamlessly connected throughout. Restaurant staff enthusiastically introduced local specialty snacks. The contactless delivery via the butler cabinet and the smart mini-program for online communication greatly enhanced convenience. Dining Experience: Rich, Refined, and Showcasing Local Flavors Breakfast was particularly outstanding, offering freshly squeezed juices, authentic Chongqing noodles, honey-glazed ham, a variety of homemade yogurts, and specialty dishes like shakshuka. The service was impeccable. The hotel's 'Yu Kitchen' for Sichuan cuisine and the night views from 'The Riverview Bar' are also well worth experiencing. Additional Surprises: Beyond-Expectations Member Benefits and Departure Gift Throughout our stay, we received generous perks, including a complimentary minibar, steam eye masks, and face masks. Upon departure, the hotel thoughtfully gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, bringing a perfect close to our mountain city journey. Regent Chongqing, with its exceptional service, meticulous attention to detail, and deep understanding of guest experience, truly defines what 'luxury service' means. It's not just a place to stay but has become an important part of the wonderful memories of my Chongqing trip. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality travel experience.

DDr. OscarLongmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm. The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape. One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

QQinxiaoxiaoThe hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Hongyadong and Guanyin Bridge. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were warm and attentive, always promptly addressing any needs. Breakfast was also good! The experience was great, exceeding my expectations, so I decisively extended my stay. GGuest UserI had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn’t feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists. Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

AAman junkieMy first trip of 2026 was to the mountain city of Chongqing, and my first hotel choice was the #ihg InterContinental Hotel, located in the Raffles City complex at Chaotianmen Plaza. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, with direct elevator access to Raffles City shopping mall and Chaotianmen Station on Metro Line 1. It's also just a 15-minute walk to #Hongyadong. I booked an Executive River View room this time, located on the 57th floor, offering expansive views of both the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, with Chaotianmen Plaza directly below. The interior decor is primarily minimalist, lacking a separate walk-in closet. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, and the Swedish fragrance brand BYREDO Blanche toiletries were a pleasant touch. This room included executive lounge access, with a complimentary, decent mini-bar – the Tianfu Cola was particularly memorable. The executive lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and a light dinner. While it's a step down from the five meals a day at the Ritz last year, the quality remains good. Both breakfast and dinner are semi-buffet with à la carte options; the presentation is exquisite and the taste is definitely up to par. Most local Chongqing specialties, besides hotpot, are covered. The overall service at the hotel aligns with its positioning; they proactively inquired about guest needs and responded promptly to requests. In summary, it truly lives up to its reputation as one of Chongqing's top-tier hotels.

MM273164****During my trip to Chongqing, I stayed at both Ji Xia Shan and Ji Xiang, and I definitely preferred Ji Xiang. **Pros:** - The hotel is genuinely new, and both the common areas and the rooms are well-maintained. - The rooms are really spacious. We stayed in a 'Li Xiang King Room,' and upon entering, it's divided into a bathing area and a bedroom. The bathroom vanity is large, facing a big glass window, and it has a truly functional large makeup mirror (though it wasn't fully charged upon check-in). The lighting is exceptional, which was one of the reasons I chose this room. - The design of the public areas and the breakfast restaurant is exquisite and elegant, making you want to linger. - The afternoon tea cakes are genuinely delicious and well-made. The collaborative travel photography produced very professional results, and our butler, Shuyou, was very responsive. **Cons:** - After getting dropped off by a taxi, you need to walk down some steps and a slope to reach the lobby. Families with young children should be aware of this. - Both the Wi-Fi and cell signal in the room were surprisingly poor. - The showerhead in the bathroom was the only real flaw in the room's amenities; it swivels inwards towards the wall, making it impossible to use properly.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic. It's right above Jiefangbei and Delicious Street, and not far from the subway station. There's a foot massage place on the 6th floor, perfect for relaxing after a long day. When I checked in, Xiao Zhou gave me a drink voucher for the rooftop, saying I could go up, enjoy a drink, sit down, and experience the revolving restaurant with its views of the city below.

Facilities: Excellent, fully equipped for a hassle-free stay. All appliances are well-stocked. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Great, with easy access to transport and convenient for getting around. Service: Warm and attentive, truly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was also very generous with a wide variety of options. This hotel was definitely a highlight of my trip.

GGuest UserThe place is very beautiful and the surrounding park is very well maintained. We booked a simple double room and got upgraded to a room with hot spring pool on the terrace which safed our experience. Overall it was quite stressful because we got interrupted every hour with some requests, communication was very difficult (we speak no Chinese) and we would not understand how to use the services that were included in our booking, were not informed that the restaurant would close early and had a ton of little problems to solve with the technical equipment (WiFi, TV, how to switch off the pool). Frankly, at one point we felt like part of the staff we had not one undisturbed hour to simply enjoy. Furthermore there was construction work going on and we were not previously informed. Had we known, we would have stayed at another hotel. I did not like the cancellation policy as they did not offer refund from the second we booked. Payment was a hassle with Alipay, Weixin Pay and International Mastercard. The food was amazing and the staff did their best to make our experience better. They even assisted us to order food via delivery as the place is a bit remote. Maybe it’s all a bit smoother during higher seasons and with a Chinese Bank Card and Chinese language skills. I’d recommend to stay near the natural hot springs in a simpler hotel for 10x less money and hassle.
