Spent New Year's Day 2026 playing in the snow. Overall, it was good – clean and no strange odors, and the air conditioning was warm. We had a great time in the snow. A suggestion: for the family room, it would be better to remove the coffee table and two chairs. This would make the room much more spacious and give the kids more room to play.

Chasing the snow to Xiannv Mountain, I chose Fangcaodi based on reviews and its location. The staff were incredibly patient, answering many of my questions about local attractions, and even upgraded our room to a garden view with an excellent vista. Due to heavier-than-expected snowfall, we didn't get stuck in traffic going to the scenic area and instead spent the whole day playing in the hotel's front and back yards, which my child absolutely loved. We could pop back to the room to warm up anytime, and the front desk even had hot ginger tea ready for guests. If I ever come back to Xiannv Mountain, I'll definitely choose this place again.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. Located halfway up the mountain, it's exceptionally quiet with fresh, pleasant air. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied. The hotel also offers a dinner set, including a clear broth lamb hotpot. It's not spicy, and the lamb has absolutely no ***** smell; they say it's from sheep raised on Fairy Mountain. The portion sizes are generous, easily enough for two people! 👍

The hotel is located on a mountain, and when I visited, the whole area was filled with the fragrance of osmanthus flowers.
