Apartments in Quintana Roo, Mexico

I found this property Ujo have good reviews on Trip.con and wanted to give it a try. I preferred apartment style stays cos the convenience of having a kitchen allows flexibility for diet-restricted people. The place looked modern and clean. Pretty spacious and functional. Has a balcony with a (not so grande, lol) view of the neighborhood. It was so hot outside even in November, like a sauna, so we didn’t spend anytime on the balcony and kept windows and doors shut to prevent heat and bugs. The AC and two ceiling fans in our room helped greatly for temperature control, making our stay comfortable. Note: the AC only works when you use the key card in the room — inserting it in the power slot and then AC can be turned on. Without a note about it, I thought the AC was not working. But glad the lady there helped to call and figure it out. Simple as that. The bathroom is interesting. It’s mostly good, got a ceiling shower and worked well. They provided organic wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The only part that didn’t make too much sense is the short half wall that is functioning as a divider between the shower part and the dry part of the bathroom. Water would easily splash out — it felt like it was designed for shorter users and didn’t account for a lot of tourists that are tall. Perhaps add a good old shower curtain? Mostly for the property’s own benefit of not getting the floor wet where it shouldn’t be. I sent a request when I booked the room for the hosts to spray bug sprays in the room prior to my arrival. They quickly acknowledged that after my booking and did that before I checked in. Much appreciation. When we checked out, we left our luggage to the host for a few hours. They are very helpful to put them away.  Also this place has bike rentals on site for a good price compared to what we saw outside of the property.  Finally, let’s talk about the overall area. We chose it also because it’s close location to ADO bus station as we came from Cancun via bus. We don’t have any interest in the crazy taxi prices and want to walk as much as we can. So this walkable property (less than 10minutes from Tulum ADO bus station) worked. I also chose it because it’s not on the Main Street where I looked at a lot of properties and found noise complaints. I cannot handle noise past 10pm. I need my rest. So overall, Ujo was quiet in itself, no really close-by clubs, no rooftop parties, and other visitors seemed respectful and not loud after 10pm. BUT, here is the reality, this is a town with many stray animals. And they sleep during the heated day time, and get active at night. So there were barking and meowing for sure that can pierce thru. As well as some traffic sound and remote club noises. Don’t expect 100% tranquility. I am fairly picky about noise but I would say given the town’s reality, this is a very decent spot. I was able to sleep thru the nights without much issue.  Overall the stay met the score it had on Trip.com (9.6/10) when I was booking. If I visit Tulum again, or if someone asked for a recommendation, I would stay/recommend this place.

Location good! kdae good! Balcony good! But I'll write down some of the bad things. The shower water came out cold, the hot one came out, and the shower stopped several times, and the worst thing was that the water came out in a row Very unpleasant experience with shower Microwave cup port induction pot refrigerator etc Full option facilities are good The shower is replaced, so the water pressure is good, so it is necessary for guests to take a shower. I have to go to the airport, but the elevator is broken, so I hurried down the stairs. Wi-Fi only bursts in the lobby on the first floor and doesn't burst in the room. Cell phone box on the first floor. I wanted to see the picture, but I couldn't find the curtain at all. You have to sleep in a room with all the sunlight coming in so brightly. I tied room 703, and I covered the view with a wall on the left balcony. It would be better to get a room assignment with a view of Coco Bongo. My room was the end room, but the left side of the balcony blocked the view and the view was not visible.

Family trip. We requested a late check-in due to our plane's itinerary. Since there is a 24-hour door staff, there was no inconvenience. The room was just what we needed. It also included a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, induction cooktop, and dinnerware. A convenience store, a pharmacy, and a supermarket are within walking range, as well as the access to the beach. One thing to improve is toiletries size, especially soap and shampoo.

In the seven-shaped hotel area, the service is good, and it is very close to the sea. The price is very economical. Bring your own hair dryer. Wi-Fi needs to be available in the lobby, which is good

Its a great place in a great area w zero concern for crime. The apartment is great & within walking distance to food stores, starbucks, local food and the bank. Not easily accessible, especially when it rains & floods. Nice few days, v comfortable bed, two couches, full kitchen, brand new fridge -- has everything you need to cook for a Family. Highly recommended for a true local and great experience.

방은 사진과 똑같고, 화장실 수전이나 샤워수전은 청결도에 약간 떨어질 수도 있습니다. 예민한 분들이라면 별로라 생각할 수도 있습니다. 방은 매우 넓고, 침대도 넓습니다. 깨끗한 에어컨과 최신식 스마트 티비가 있습니다. 2박동안 샴푸 2개, 비누 2개가 제공되며, 타올과 옥상의 수영장을 위한 비치타올이 함께 제공되었습니다. 루이스는 매우 친절한 호스트였고, 호텔에 엘레베이터가 없어서 짐 옮기는 것을 도와줬습니다. 호텔 위치는 큰길가에 위치했으며, 1분도 안되는 거리에 oxxo와 길거리 타코가게들이 있습니다. 그리고 맛있는 식당들과 카페가 주변에 즐비해있고, super Aki도 걸어서 다녀올 수 있습니다. 옥상에서는 주변에 높은 건물이 없어서 멋진 일출과 일몰을 볼 수 있고, 1층 문은 철제문으로 잠겨져있어 외부인의 출입이 통제되어 안전함을 느꼈습니다. 그리고 귀여운 멍멍이들이 항상 반겨줍니다. 다음에 툴룸에 또 온다면 또 묵고 싶은 가성비 숙소입니다.

I found this apartment in good location near to a big mall and bus center which goes to deferent cities from Cancun and the cleaners were very friendly and the manager is also a very good person, the only problem in this season mosquitoes which bites us and not feel comfortable. The AC was working well and small swinging pool water is changing regularly 👌 . Finly found it very good 👍 .

No water in the room, you need to buy it yourself There is a stove, no kettle There is a refrigerator, no electricity There is a microwave oven, or no electricity There is a shower, there is no unified direction of water flow, the water column is scattered everywhere, and the bath is like no water. No shower gel, a bottle of shampoo without foam The photo looks good, and the living is really not very good.
