Apartments in Carinthia, Austria

This very nice spacious flat is located on beautiful Villach main square with many coffee shops, restaurants and stores. The only problem is that there is no close by parking, so to off-load our car, we had to temporarily park on Freihausgasse and walked twice from our car to this flat, which is some 200m one way. Then we had to move car to large overnight parking which cost 1.80 euro/hr.

The car rental process was smooth and the staff were generally helpful. The vehicle was clean, but there were a few scratches not mentioned beforehand. Pickup took longer than expected, and communication could be improved. Overall, the experience was decent for the price, though there is definitely room for better customer service and efficiency.

Buchung läuft eigentlich relativ einfach.  Man muss allerdings seinen Ausweis komplett abfotografieren für den online Check in.  Wann bekommt dann einen Tür Code für den Haupteingang und für das Zimmer.  Diesen habe ich am Anreisetag um 13:00 Uhr schon bekommen, da das Zimmer schon früher fertig war.  Es liegt unweit vom Hauptbahnhof. Also wer öffentlich anreist, hat bei dieser Unterkunft nichts falsch gemacht.  Es gibt  in der Nähe Kurzparkzone. Diese sind auf 3 Stunden beschränkt.  Außer von Samstag auf Sonntag.  Zimmer war sauber, und es gibt eine gute Klimaanlage. Late Checkout ist nicht möglich. Es gibt nichts, Negatives zu bemängeln.  Wer kochen will, hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche.

The best place we stayed. Clean and beautiful accommodation is located in the city center, near the stop and a large shopping center, lots of cafes nearby. Friendly staff.

Аппарт-отель очень понравился, расположен в центре города, новое современное здание с современным ремонтом и технологическим оснащением. В номере все очень продуманно, есть мини кухня, холодильник, стиральная машина, гладильная доска, утюг, сушилка для одежды, кондиционирование и отопление. Новая дизайнерская мебель, все со вкусом и очень практично. Мы в восторге. Единственное, что не нравится, что в Европе заселение в 15.00, а выезд в 10 или 11 утра, это очень неудобно.

The resort is on the mountain, about 200 m from ski slopes. Close, but to walk there in ski boots... Wifi was free (1 account per person). Quality reasonable. The apartment we rented was for 4 to 6 persons with room with double bed and two single beds. In living room is a place for two more. 4 of us fited nicely. The apartment is somewhat dated but in good condition. There is one bathroom with a shower. The beds and mattresses were of good quality. The kitchen had all necessary equipment. It lacked a dishwasher and a microwave or oven. The resort has a mini market for bread and some other food and some drinks. The shop is more expensive than other places.... but the next place is more then ten km away down the mountain. The car park belonging to the resort is in the parking garage of another hotel about 150 m down the mountain. It is extra cost 8 eur per day. The resort is car free. They bring yor luggage by snowmobile to the door of the apartment. Resort had the pool area (not so big) and the sauna. The pool area looks clean and in the period we were there it was to crowded. The bathrobes and towels are available for 15 eur and you can change the towels every day. The staff at the reception was cind, helpfull and efficient at checking in and out.
