It is a monument to honor the Sanada Maru, which is said to have been located in the area where Sanada Maru was known when Yukimura Sanada was built in the Osaka Winter Camp. It looks like a monument made relatively recently. The explanation was written in a fairly detailed manner, and it was nice to be able to know it even by myself who is not very detailed.
There is a stone monument along the school grounds. Many officers and soldiers were gone in the Osaka Winter Battle. Ko Yukimura, the south area, which was said to be the weakness of Osaka Castle, built Demaru here, but I wonder why Hideyoshi, who was said to be good at siege, did not build it during his lifetime. There are many places around here that are said to be the ruins of the Sanada Maru site.
It's a must-see because you can see that Sanada Maru was here, but there is nothing to see other than the stone monument. We recommend a pattern to stop by when taking a walk around the area.
There is a Sanada Yukimura honor monument on Shinganjizaka. The monument is large and there is an easy-to-read explanation. There is no remnant of that time, but there are many ruins nearby.
Ruins and remains related to Yukimura Sanada, such as Sanadayama Park and Sankoji Temple, are scattered around. I thought Sankoji Temple was Sanada Maru, but I wondered if this was decided by the latest survey.
