Special thanks to the guide, Ms. Wu Wei, whose vivid explanations helped us better understand the ancient Shu Kingdom's sacrificial culture and better connect the Sanxingdui exhibits with the Classic of Mountains and Seas. Today's Sanxingdui itinerary was well-planned and well-organized. Our driver, Mr. Liu, contacted us the day before our departure time and picked us up from the hotel on time in the morning. His car was clean and tidy, and he even provided bottled water. He drove safely and smoothly all the way to the meeting point at Sanxingdui, providing excellent service. We also had a smooth return trip in the afternoon. Our guide at Sanxingdui, Mr. Zhou, was professional, engaging, humorous, and experienced. He effectively kept everyone entertained, making the entire visit interesting and rewarding.

I visited Sanxingdui on my birthday, which coincidentally is the same year the major discovery was made (1986)! It was an incredible experience. The museum perfectly showcases the mysterious Shu civilization, with its one-of-a-kind bronze figures and captivating gold masks. The artifacts are so different from other ancient Chinese cultures, making you wonder about their origins. A truly unforgettable and mind-blowing place.

Ctrip Review: The guided tour of Sanxingdui booked through Ctrip was an excellent experience, and I especially want to thank our guide, Linda (Xiaolin). Two of our group members are in their 80s, and I contacted Xiaolin beforehand to request an earlier start, which she readily agreed to. Sanxingdui doesn't open until 8:30 am, but she arrived at the ticket gate at 7:30 am and was among the first to enter. When I arrived at 8:15 am, she was already there waiting. Knowing we had elderly members, she went to the visitor center in Hall 1 ahead of time to rent wheelchairs for us and waited for us there. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; since I wasn't wearing a mask due to my health condition, she even shared a medical mask with me. The entire tour was meticulous, professional, and patient. She explained each artifact, especially the key ones, in detail, and her explanation of the ancient Shu Kingdom's history was clear and professional. After the tour, she even helped us return the wheelchairs and pointed out a shortcut for the children to exit the museum. I am truly grateful for this trip, extremely satisfied, and highly recommend it!
