The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center. It features a simulated natural habitat for giant pandas, including lakes, streams, bamboo forests, and meadows. The highlight here is the opportunity to get up close with giant pandas and observe their daily lives. The base also has "Panda Villas," which are enclosed recreational areas for the pandas.
Sanxingdui Museum (A professional private guide will provide you with a detailed 2.5-hour museum tour)
The Sanxingdui Museum collects and displays over a thousand precious artifacts unearthed from the Sanxingdui site, including bronze ware, jade objects, gold items, pottery, and bone artifacts. Among them, renowned pieces like the Sacred Tree stand out with their unique shapes and an air of mystery. The museum covers a vast area and currently features two independent exhibition halls. The first hall is a comprehensive gallery showcasing artifacts made of gold, bronze, jade, stone, and pottery. The second hall is dedicated to bronze ware, exhibiting various bronze artifacts excavated from the site.
