I bought three eSIM cards at once and connected them at home following the instructions (there are plenty of videos online). When we landed in Thailand, we simply clicked "roaming" and that was it. The main thing is to turn off your SIM card before departure so the carrier doesn't charge you for roaming abroad. 2GB was enough for the day, except for one time when the Wi-Fi connection at the hotel was down and I was watching a lot of videos and photos. But messages and the card still worked, albeit very slowly.★

On this trip, I couldn't get a 5G signal at all, I don't know why. Everything else is fine. eSIM is convenient, fast, easy to install and easy to use, and incredibly cheap. Don't bother with roaming, it's a waste of money.★

Got Free 3 days 3GB everyday subscription to my hotel booking and got data as soon as I landed the airport which helped me booked Grab car going to my hotel. But 3GB is not enough for my usage so I subscribed again to 5GB per day for 7 days but still wasn't enough so I subscribed again to 100GB per day for the rest of my stay which is 5 days. At first there's signal problem but the customer service is very responsive and helpful and was able to fix it immediately as he guides me how to process and how to manually select network. I got this cheap coz of the promo as I am a first time user.
