How to use
After arriving at your destination, please connect to the internet to install and activate the eSIM. Do not install this eSIM outside the destination country, as this may cause early activation charges and shorten the validity period of your data plan.
[Installing eSIM]
Install directly within the Trip. com app:
iOS users: Please ensure your Trip. com app is updated to the latest version and your iPhone's system is upgraded to iOS 17. 4 or later to install the eSIM directly within the app.
Install by scanning a QR code/manually entering eSIM information:
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip. com APP order and print it out in advance or save it to another electronic device. (For iOS 17 and above and some Android phones, you can save the QR code image directly to your phone. )
2. Open Cellular (iOS) or SIM Card Management (Android) in your phone's Settings.
3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap "Add Cellular Plan" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card Management" (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning fails, you can enter the "SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code" from your order voucher to install.
5. If steps 3 or 4 fail, your phone may be network-locked by your home carrier (unable to use other carrier network bands). You will need to contact your carrier to unlock it before using the eSIM.
Setting Up Internet Access
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off your primary SIM card and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable Cellular Data (iOS) or SIM Card (Android).
3. Turn on Data Roaming.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above settings, please set the APN and restart your phone. See details below.
[About APN]
1. If you purchased a multi-country/region eSIM and cannot connect upon arriving in a new area, please manually switch the APN (normally it switches automatically).
2. Setting path: Cellular > Cellular Data Network, or Settings > Mobile Network > Access Point Names > Add.
3. Enter APN:
Singapore: cmhk
Malaysia: cmlink or internet. proximug. be
Thailand: cmhk
4. Restart your phone.
[Renewal Order Activation]
Renewal orders will activate automatically after the first order is used up; no reinstallation is required.
1. For orders with a speed-limited plan: After the high-speed data is used up, restart your phone to start using the renewal order.
2. For orders without a speed-limited plan: The speed-limited data will be used first until the validity period of the first order's plan ends. Then, restart your phone to start using the renewal order.
 
*When switching phones using eSIM, please do not place a renewal order. Renewal orders do not support switching to a different phone for use.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.

[eSIM Usage Conditions]

1. Device supports eSIM functionality

Check method: On the phone dialer interface, dial *#06#. Generally, having an EID indicates support for eSIM. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.


2. Phone is not carrier-locked

Check method: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is carrier-locked.

[Setting Up eSIM]

eSIM can only be installed under a stable network connection. Therefore, please plan the eSIM installation time reasonably according to the plan validity period before departure (it is recommended to install it within 6 hours before departure). Avoid installing too early, which may cause the plan to expire prematurely and affect usage.


[Enable Data Roaming]

Please ensure the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.

Your phone must meet two conditions:

How to solve eSIM hotspot issues? What can I do if my eSIM's hotspot is not working?

Due to varying phone models, if your eSIM supports hotspot functionality but cannot use it, try the following:
1. Check if your phone is a contract or locked device
2. Ensure any VPNs are disabled
3. Make sure to turn on data roaming
4. Check if the eSIM is set as the primary device
5. Update your phone to the latest version
6. Use a physical SIM for internet, enable hotspot sharing (ensure it's available), then switch to eSIM without turning off the hotspot. Repeat this process several times, including restarting your phone several times.
7. If none of the above work, contact customer support

What can I do if I lost my eSIM installation QR code? I am experiencing a "This code is no longer valid" error.

Where can I find the EID and IMEI on my phone?

The EID functions as a digital signature that links devices to mobile networks, typically comprising 32 characters, which include both letters and numbers. The IMEI, or International Mobile Equipment Identity, serves as a unique identifier for your phone and is generally 15 digits long.
For iPhones, you can find your EID and IMEI by going to "Settings" > "General" > "About" > EID/IMEI. Another quick way to find your EID and IMEI is by dialing *#06#, which will display a screen with your device information.
For Samsung phones, go to "Settings" > "About Phone" > "Status Information" > IMEI/EID

How do I activate a renewal?

For total volume-based eSIMs, the renewal will automatically activate after the first plan has been completely used up. You don't need to scan the code again for installation. Once the first plan is used up, refresh the network, wait a few minutes, and it will automatically renew for you.
For daily-based eSIMs: The renewal booking will automatically activate after the days covered by the first booking's package have used up. You don't need to scan the code again.
Additionally, if you want to use eSIM on a different phone, please do not place a renewal booking, as renewal bookings do not support changing phones.

Can I still purchase your service if I have already activated an eSIM on my phone?

Yes, your phone can store multiple eSIM profiles at the same time. You can choose which one to use in your phone settings.
