Snorkeling was so much fun! Even if you can't swim, there's no need to worry. The guides and instructors were very friendly. I recommend renting a GoPro for RM50; the videos and photos are clearer than with a phone, and the instructors are even better at filming and will feed the fish. In the evening, we took the kids to look for proboscis monkeys and fireflies. The trip was a bit short, but we were lucky enough to find them all. Thanks to Xiaoya for the recommendation.

The journey was a bit long, but well worth it! Xia Ya's product recommendations were fantastic! She was incredibly patient in explaining the differences between the products and kept us updated on event information, which made us feel very reassured while traveling abroad. 👍 The guide said we were extremely lucky; the weather cooperated perfectly at all the key points of the itinerary. While searching for proboscis monkeys, we also saw water buffalo, and quickly found the proboscis monkeys. Then we saw long-tailed gibbons. The proboscis monkeys were very gentle, while the long-tailed gibbons were quite noisy—such a stark contrast between the two monkeys! Kota Kinabalu had been shrouded in smog for a month without a sunset, but on the day we saw it, something magical happened—the sun managed to peek out and we witnessed a beautiful sunset. Although it was only about 10% of what it used to be, we were all very satisfied! The fireflies at night were absolutely breathtaking. They truly only appear in places with exceptionally healthy ecosystems. You could feel how much the people in the reserve care for the environment; they reminded us of many important things to be aware of. The fireflies were truly magical!

10/10 experience with [Mr Handsome Jeff] as our guide! He knew how to keep us engaged throughout the long trip even though we were a group of introverts haha. Kawa-kawa river is definitely the river to choose if you prioritise seeing the fireflies! Super lucky to have gotten a private car ride and even the entire night boat to ourselves since it was off-peak season! Definitely made the experience all the more magical.

A truly worthwhile trip! Xiao Yong, the customer service representative, made excellent arrangements, and Xiao Wen, the tour guide, was extremely professional. The explanations at each attraction were also very comprehensive. We saw proboscis monkeys and a boat full of fireflies. A truly memorable experience!

It's a pity we didn't get to see the animals up close this trip, but seeing the fireflies at night was incredibly romantic! Our guide, my cousin, gave us so many surprises! He was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, bringing a small speaker to play music the whole way, making the trip relaxed and enjoyable. At the beach, he even offered to take amazing photos for us; his photography skills are superb, and he knows exactly how to frame the shots. Overall, I highly recommend the experience!
