Yuanmingyuan Park, once hailed as the "garden of gardens", was created over 150 years with the grandeur of imperial architecture, the delicate charm of Jiangnan water town gardens, and influences from European garden designs. French writer Victor Hugo remarked: "Even if all the treasures from all the cathedrals in France were combined, they couldn't rival this magnificent oriental museum." In October 1860, the park suffered brutal looting and burning by Anglo-French allied forces and the Eight-Nation Alliance, reducing this renowned garden to ruins. Having endured trials of blood and fire, Yuanmingyuan Park now stands as a monumental chapter in China's modern history, possessing profoundly moving historical significance.

11:00 am visit Beihai Park
Beihai Park is situated in central Beijing, west of Jingshan Mountain and northwest of the Forbidden City, collectively known as the "Three Seas" along with Zhonghai and Nanhai. As an ancient Chinese imperial garden, it centers around Beihai Lake covering approx. 71 hectares (583 mu water surface, 480 mu land). Originally built as a detached palace during the Liao, Jin and Yuan dynasties, it served as an imperial garden in Ming and Qing dynasties. One of China's oldest, most intact and representative royal gardens with comprehensive features, it opened to the public in 1925. Recognized as a key national cultural heritage site and a AAAA-level tourist attraction, it remains one of China's most historic and well-preserved imperial gardens.

2:30 pm Visit Prince Kung's Palace Museum
The mansion of Heshen, a renowned Qing dynasty official, was later bestowed by Empress Dowager Cixi to Prince Gong Yixin and renamed Prince Kung's Palace Museum. Comprising both the mansion and garden sections, it stands as one of Beijing's best-preserved princely residences. Having witnessed the Qing dynasty's rise and fall, it carries exceptionally rich historical and cultural significance.Rich in historical and cultural significance, hence the saying "Prince Kung's Palace Museum encapsulates half of Qing dynasty history."
16:30 Prince Kung's Palace Museum serves as the disbanding point. The itinerary ends and guests will return home on their own.
