Hotel near Bel Ombre,Bel Ombre
Experience a luxurious stay at the SO/ Mauritius. Designed by architect Lek Bunnag and decorated by designer Kenzo Takada, the hotel combines luxury and Zen ambience throughout the 84 rooms available. 6 suites and 2 villas are available as well. The hotel has all the amenities you could wish for from a experience such as pool, gym, spa, private beach, 2 gourmet restaurants and intimate bars. Mix exotic relaxation and business with our ephemeral meeting areas to host business or private events.

"The restaurant is average, and it is not suitable to like lively and popular Chinese people, so there may be more white customers in Europe and the United States, but we have to praise the service of the hotel. We caught up with the outing during the unusual period, and we have not heard of the outbreak of the new crown. As a result, the situation was pooping two days later. By the last day of our stay, I wanted to return to China. The situation was very serious. I walked to several pharmacies and didn't buy medical masks. So I tried to find a doctor's office. The staff's English is also relatively general. It should be mainly French. We communicated very poorly for a long time. The male doctors in the infirmary were older and they helped us call and ask which pharmacy had a mask. After confirming that they did not have one, they wrote it. Feng letter to the nurse station of the respiratory department of the local hospital, let us go to wear a mask, thank you very much for the upright male doctor and the local doctor. We went to the hospital for a half-day tour by car and got 12 valuable medical masks. After returning to the child with basic protection, I would like to thank the two local serious but friendly black doctors."

"Typical resort hotel with a beach with a reef nearby.P average breakfast, But lunch (buffet dinner) in the HB version is simply great I think. One of the best we've had in our lives (after visiting hundreds of hotels in dozens of countries) it was the best point of the stay. During the day, hamburgers, quite good from a Food Truck at a reasonable price. Nice pools."

Hotel near Bel Ombre,Bel Ombre
Surrender your senses to the beauty of Bel Ombre at one of Mauritius most exquisite beachfront resorts. Brilliant blue sky-sparkling turquoise sea-verdant landscapes and gentle ocean breezes. Casually stroll the cool tropical gardens and low-rise walk-up accommodations. Relax serenely in guest rooms with glorious Indian Ocean views. Embrace the refinements of a world-class resort with celebrated modern Mauritian cuisine-international wine tasting-afternoon tea and pampering Navasana Spa. There are extensive complimentary activities such as snorkeling/sailing/kayaking/paddle boats/windsurfing/tennis courts/volleyball/table tennis and bocce ball. In addition there are many activities available for a fee such as scuba lessons/kitesurfing/fishing and many excursions and tours.

"The best part of the hotel is the lagoon in front of the hotel - if you are into snorkelling. When the tide is high you can see a lot. But you should bring your own mask, snorket, fins, unless you are willing to pay 12 Euros per hour for a set. The property is sprawling. Lots of pleasant walking around. Two restaurants, with the By the Water one much better than Mercado (buffet). Book it for all night right away when you arrive. There are 180 rooms in the hotel and the By the Water restaurant takes about 50 (my guess) guests per night. This also means that there are long waits during dinner (easily 2-hour sessions). Rooms show their age but are still good. Keep light off in the evening; otherwise there will be mosquitos. Keep any food away from the room; otherwise you can have a visitor (a mouse). We were in a larger room with access to the Plantation where it is possible to have breakfast, snacks, and a semi-private pool. But this costs extra, and I am now not sure if it is worth it. There are some water activities, but they are limited either by the way the beach is (kayak) or how often they are run (snorklering and glass bottom boat trips). The pool is nice. Overall, a very good stay for 4 nights. But check when you are going. We paid a lot because it was over the New Year. We had a breakfast/dinner package, and even with that, we had to pay an extra 80 euros per head for the New Year's dinner (not including wine). New Years activities were good: a live band, DJ, some dancing, and a fire-swallowing show, plus HUGE 5-minute-long fireworks over the ocean."

"Perfect! ! ! ! I just want to say that everything is perfect. I’m going to travel with my sisters on the ball. The most memorable thing is that this hotel is as beautiful as a fairy tale. I have never experienced the whole forest. Your whole forest is yours~~ Especially the street lights at night. The whole mountain is shining for you. I heard that there are only three bubble houses, I hope that the bubbles can be more and more ^^ I don’t really know the bad reviews, so I’m so conspirated to the hotels built by foreigners. It’s really conscience..... I booked the room one month in advance, and I was reluctant to go... Breakfast and dinner are so delicious..... Feeling still dreaming..... It is recommended to live for two more days, one day is definitely not enough... If the person who sleeps habits is wearing a good earplug (there are free earplugs and eye masks in the room, but the girl is a little big~) For u."
