Hotels With spa in Limburg, Netherlands

This is one of the nicer Backpackers I’ve stayed in. It has only one bunk in each pod so you’re really separate from everybody else. The location is three hours from Amsterdam although it is very very close to the train station I loved the free fruit and the outside areas. There was two nice garden areas. The only thing I didn’t appreciate or enjoy was I booked in so late at night and it just happened to be handover and the lady could not help me as she was busy counting her hotel and finishing her day so therefore I did not get my free welcome drink. I thought it was just the water on the bar when I asked if there was any food she said no and did not offer me any fruit which of course I realised it’s free so there was food. Another couple were trying to book in at the same time as me so I gave them the computer. I really wish that the woman behind the bar could have told me there was a second computer. I guess she was just having a bad day. I also had had a bad day although it’s not a competition, I had caught the wrong train from Amsterdam and had an hour and a half detour. All my own fault but I was absolutely shattered. I could not think straight when I got there and needed a little help to check In. Highly recommend doing the caves and fort at Saint Petersburg. Enjoy your day.

Service was gemiddeld. Extra booking restaurant. Bad floor manager of the restaurant 26 April 2026. Many complained about the service. 1. Hours wait for dinner or drink. 2. Order something. The staffer suggests his colleague to go through. 3. Floor manager did not perform control or management function 4. We were not only of this opinion. 5. Floor manager didn't talk to us well with you. Talk if he had knocked with us. Horeca seems standard sense is your opinion what you get back. Total restaurant thought that the floor manager did not do sense work. 6. There were guests after 3x questions away without paying there was no indication why no one could come. They were fired by floor manager, which was not the case. Plus the hotel guest had to ask where the food remains for more than an hour. 7. If this are the instructions of the Valk Hotel. I will reduce my assessment. I hope that responsible location manager here treats more grip and client as a king. No longer treated puberously, arrogantly and unreceptably. 8. The evening team of April 26 can learn some of the morning team on April 27, this team deserves a flies!! We were very friendly and we asked if we could remove the plates or glasses used. That's why service is average.

Hotel environment was good BUT : 1. Check in and check out timing. Four o'clock is very late for a check in. Global standard allows checking In as from 13.00 hours! Eleven o'clock is very early for checking out. Again global standard sets check out at 12.00 with possible extension to 14.00 hours. 2. The room was supposed to be ” comfort plus”. I experienced no special comfort or extra comfort for that matter. Room was standard in terms of size and equipment. 3. Reception staff allowed the ”concession” of checking out at 12.00 and went to considerable length stressing that it is a gross exception! Not the right attitude for a service organization.

Location is good, service is a bit poor, but it's a clean hotel

The hotel is in a superb location overlooking the town. All the Christmas attractions (grottos, Winter Wonderland, etc.) were within easy walking distance. It was absolutely quiet at night, both inside and outside the hotel. Breakfast was ample and very tasty. Oddly, there were no small spoons for the eggs, but that was forgivable. The room was perfectly acceptable for two nights. The only negative point I have to mention was the hair in the bathtub. This was completely out of character with the rest of the hotel's overall impression. Otherwise, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Thermae 2000 for a stay in Valkenburg.

Macheng is very comfortable! It is very different from Amsterdam! This hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station and breakfast is delicious! Convenient stay: very convenient Safety: Very safe Facilities: OK Hygiene: very good

We've stayed at the Townhouse Hotel in Maastricht a few times now, and this visit was great once again. The staff are friendly, and the hotel itself is cozy and well-maintained. The rooms are clean with fantastic beds. The location of the Townhouse is superb, within walking distance of Maastricht's lively city center. All in all, highly recommended!

The NH Maastricht is a somewhat dated hotel. However, the rooms were clean and nicely spacious. The staff was very friendly. Our air conditioning wasn't working at first. After a brief notification at reception, a technician came and fixed the problem. The location is good. The city center is a few minutes away by car.

Bathroom bit outdated, suggest renovations. Toilet bowl needs a lid. Air conditioning should be standard. Nice and quiet area, free parking, didn't get to try the spa.

A quite new hotel. Good service... beautiful interior. Breakfast is very good. The staff is not too much. Very service-oriented. Rooms are not extremely large but very practically furnished. The spa is comfortable . We were there during the heat wave but it was delicious in terms of temperature , even on the ( small) outdoor. Dinner is a party, the most beautiful and well-matched. We just miss a few chairs/banks in the garden where you can sit comfortable day by day. The chairs for the outdoor terrace are too hard to sit long as you do evening at dinner.
