The hotel is at such nice location! Just superb! We experienced great service, especially hotel being booked out they been able to move us around well and found something. Pool is so nice, outside and inside, we spend a lot of time there. Beach is walking distance, a lot of food around. 2 recommendations: I think would be nice also to consider more things for kids, in the pool and especially food. I mean breakfast ist really nice, but dinner doubt you can convince kids with such food such as seafood etc. there should be small child corner at dinner buffet, some pIzza, nuggets, frenchfries, rice, parika, gurken, etc. simple. For adults the dinner buffet is quite nice, for children, rather limited, if your kids are special with food. so dinner we had to eat always outside, which was pity.

Top location, great view. The furnishings are a bit dated, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

My wife and I have just returned home after a two nights stay in Das James. This should be a 5 star hotel - staff is incredibly friendly and is on the forefront constantly - everything here is of a very very high standard and interior everywhere is modern and elegant. Best spa-pool-terrace-sauna area we have seen so far. Breakfast is fantastic. We had the gourmet menu in Restaurant Das Grace - also fantastic both in terms of staff and the delicious meal. The bar is beyond imagination superb - the bartender Mr. M.A. Coldeway makes magic with a combination of his great personality and his innovative touch when preparing drinks - don’t miss out on this guy when you are here👍👍👍

Nice holiday home type hotel. Good pool, sauna, steam room. Decent breakfast. On the south of the island so a bit of a drive into the main town. Basic rooms/houses. Generally helpful staff with some odd behaviour: staff member came into the sauna and added so much water it became too hot so everyone had to leave!

I love Kiel Steigenberger Hotel! All fits perfectly, parking, breakfast (by far the best in Kiel), Room and Service. Been here many times. You can reach out by walk everything. Take the bigger rooms, like them more. Was there with Kids, and the spare sofa bed was also really high quality, not some cheap stuff.

Great little Saturday escape - the hotel is perfect for families and the amenities are great. The breakfast is special but what was the highlight was the service. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Had a treat of a stay here and really great for a family stay. The service and facilities are great. Check in is a mess given the fixed time and the Q but everything else is amazing

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Es ist im Industriestil eingerichtet. Alles wirkt durchdacht und sehr detailliert. Das Frühstücksbuffet wird im Bar-/Lobbybereich serviert. Dort stehen jedoch nicht für jeden Gast normale Tische und Stühle zur Verfügung. Teils müssen Gästen auch auf den vorhandenen Loungemöbeln frühstücken. Das finde ich unglücklich. Leider blieben aufgrund des hohen Andrangs bzw. fehlenden Personals einige Schüsseln mit Porridge, Waffelteig etc. ziemlich lange leer. Das geht für mich gar nicht. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße mit sehr schönem Ausblick aufs Wasser. Leider ließen sich aber die Fenster nicht öffnen, was man insbesondere nach dem Duschen gerne gemacht hätte.

Traditional German hotel, nice rooms, great bar, perfect breakfast. Reinbek city center not far away, and a nice forest nearby.
