The hotel's hardware is excellent, but its service and management get a zero. We checked in after 4 PM, and the room wasn't even ready yet. After it was finally cleaned, I walked in to find the previous guest's socks still sitting on the bedside table, as shown in picture one. It made me seriously doubt if they even cleaned it properly. The hotel's swimming pool is an Instagram hotspot, but because it's outsourced, the actual experience was a zero. There are no lockers! The entire changing room is as small as shown in picture two – that's it! The floor was covered in water and trash, and no one was cleaning it. There were no towels unless you paid 10 yuan for a disposable one, and no slippers unless you paid another 12 yuan. The breakfast was terrible, with very few options and no local specialties. Compared to other state guesthouses like the Wuxi Taihu Hotel, Nanjing Dongjiao Guesthouse, or Wuhan Donghu Hotel, the breakfast here was basically on par with a county government guesthouse. All in all, it's absolutely not worth the price. Booking the Zhijin Hotel was definitely the biggest regret of my Guizhou trip.

Very bad experience. Would not recommend. Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it. Chinese version for locals - 整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。

The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded our room for free and even included breakfast. The hotel offers a pick-up service, and after booking, the driver contacted me half an hour in advance to confirm my arrival station and time. The hygiene was great, with a good separation of wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Facilities were comprehensive, and the washer-dryer combo was super convenient for travelers. Service was top-notch, and the self-service breakfast included freshly cooked noodles, which was a nice touch. The environment was good overall, apart from a little noise from renovations upstairs. It's also very conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the Anshun Old Town commercial area, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

📍 The location is absolutely amazing: just a 5-meter walk to the observation deck, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Miao village. It's incredibly convenient, especially for seniors. 🏨 Facilities & Service are top-notch: There's an elevator, which is a huge plus for older guests! The service is superb; everything from check-in to check-out was perfectly arranged. 🍴 The restaurant, ”Chunxi Xiaoguan,” is legendary: The sour soup fish and the intangible cultural heritage 'sweat chicken' are fantastic, great value for money, and delicious. You can also request other stir-fried dishes to be made non-spicy. This guesthouse's own restaurant is truly a hidden gem, with high ratings and many returning customers. Highly, highly recommended. From location and service to food and overall experience, this beautiful guesthouse is flawless! If you're coming to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you absolutely must stay here. It's hassle-free and perfect for photos. I'll definitely be back next time!

The city view suite is perfect for couples! With 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy cityscapes during the day and catch stunning sunsets in the evening. You can even see Jiaxiu Tower right from your bed, and every photo you take will have a great vibe. 💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had. 🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples! My stay at Bailian Hotel Huangguoshu far exceeded my expectations. It was an incredibly relaxing escape, almost flawless from start to finish, with only two minor details worth mentioning. The room design beautifully showcased an elegant Oriental style. It was spacious and airy, with exquisite, high-quality soft furnishings. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete and top-notch, making it perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the views. The hot springs were a major highlight; the pools were nestled discreetly within the mountains, offering a serene and private environment. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the mist-shrouded pools was a fantastic experience, allowing me to relax my mind and body while enjoying the natural beauty. The service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and patient. They were always quick to respond to any requests, providing thoughtful and discreet service that made me feel truly cared for. The food was also exceptionally satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the dishes were outstanding. Both the refined dinner and the extensive breakfast balanced nutrition and taste perfectly, delighting my palate. The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat strong smell of the wooden furniture in the room, which dissipated after opening the windows, and the occasional presence of a few mosquitoes, which could be managed with repellents. Overall, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel delivered top-tier quality in terms of environment, facilities, service, and dining. It truly stands out as an excellent vacation choice around Huangguoshu, and I highly recommend it.

To all the staff at Huangguoshu Yaojia Fanshe Cliffside Boutique Homestay: Our entire stay at the homestay was filled with warmth and thoughtfulness at every turn. We were truly touched and wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude through this letter. First and foremost, a special thank you to our butler, Cao Cao. She was always available, helping us carry our heavy luggage up to our room halfway up the mountain. She handled every big and small matter meticulously, always thinking of everything for us. She was incredibly reliable and attentive. We also want to thank Manager Tian. Even before we arrived, she sent us detailed travel information, proactively provided contacts for car services, and meticulously explained the itinerary for our current and next destinations. She planned our trip in advance with exceptional care. Finally, a big thank you to the two lovely service ladies who proactively came to our room to change our bedsheets and pillowcases. Their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and reassuring.

I stayed for four consecutive nights this time, and the overall experience was good. The hotel opened in 2025, so the facilities are relatively new. However, it's a bit unreasonable that there's an extra charge for swimming. The location is very close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. But it's really hard to order the takeout food you want! This is because it's a bit far from Minsheng Street… either the minimum order is 60 (RMB) or it takes over an hour. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of items and is replenished promptly. The staff delivered some fruit on the day of check-in, but it was all very sour. Overall, it's alright.

Special thanks to Simone from Reservations and Lance from Concierge! Simone, in particular, was incredibly helpful with all the arrangements and care before and during our stay. She went above and beyond, coordinating things even outside her direct responsibilities to ensure our stay was comfortable. Lance is a very diligent and helpful young man! From the moment I got out of the car until my luggage was in the room, his assistance was thorough and thoughtful! I understand that hotels face high pressure during the summer, but my understanding of this brand's positioning is luxury (or at least, it should be, right?). The design of the paper cups is truly baffling. Coffee by the pool is not cheap at 48, and it's also served in a paper cup. I was told glass containers aren't allowed by the pool, and that response made me wonder how so many other hotels globally manage it. The linens were also quite disappointing; not just one or two, but many of the towels during our stay were dated 2016 😅 This isn't a complaint at all, but I hope management sees this feedback and values it! Still giving a full five stars, especially because many of the cleaning staff in the public areas actively greeted guests, which I thought was particularly wonderful and not easy to achieve! Great effort! The front desk staff were very polite, but for this brand, I think there's still room for improvement in their professional skills! Overall, everyone was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!
