I was a little nervous before booking because the price wasn't cheap, and I worried the experience wouldn't be good enough. However, I figured the numerous positive reviews about the excellent service would be good. My experience was truly beyond expectations (I knew it would be good, but I didn't expect it to be this good), and the scenery was breathtaking. Guizhou-style dinner for two: The hotel offers a complimentary dinner for two, and my husband, an elderly couple, and three children didn't have to pay extra. We enjoyed the hotel buffet. We arrived at 7 p.m., and while the food was plentiful, the manager kept saying they were out of dishes and even cooked us a special Guizhou spicy chicken dish. My husband said it was incredibly flavorful. The bar always had drinks and ice water, making it a relaxing summer drink. After dinner, we took a stroll around the hotel, which was very relaxing. The driver of the electric scooter was always available, and when we left, he took us to the parking lot and then back to the scenic area gate to take us to the bus. The entire hotel staff gave me the same friendly and relaxed feeling as a Sanya resort hotel. My second child was struck by the hotel's beauty the moment they entered, and even asked if it had a swimming pool. It felt like a seaside resort. Swimming in the outdoor pool felt like wandering between heaven and earth, and the fresh scent of the pine forest permeated my breath. We also received complimentary tickets to the Yunmen Tun Scenic Area, which also included a stroll, and the scenery was beautiful. We took photos and posted them on WeChat, and everyone was amazed by the beauty. I look forward to returning in autumn to see the different scenery. A small suggestion would be to add more family-friendly facilities and some forest activities. While you can swim in the summer, there are some activities in the fall and winter that will provide a more enriching experience for children.

The hotel's hardware is excellent, but its service and management get a zero. We checked in after 4 PM, and the room wasn't even ready yet. After it was finally cleaned, I walked in to find the previous guest's socks still sitting on the bedside table, as shown in picture one. It made me seriously doubt if they even cleaned it properly. The hotel's swimming pool is an Instagram hotspot, but because it's outsourced, the actual experience was a zero. There are no lockers! The entire changing room is as small as shown in picture two – that's it! The floor was covered in water and trash, and no one was cleaning it. There were no towels unless you paid 10 yuan for a disposable one, and no slippers unless you paid another 12 yuan. The breakfast was terrible, with very few options and no local specialties. Compared to other state guesthouses like the Wuxi Taihu Hotel, Nanjing Dongjiao Guesthouse, or Wuhan Donghu Hotel, the breakfast here was basically on par with a county government guesthouse. All in all, it's absolutely not worth the price. Booking the Zhijin Hotel was definitely the biggest regret of my Guizhou trip.

Very bad experience. Would not recommend. Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it. Chinese version for locals - 整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Anshun Ancient City, and right outside, you'll find the Gu Mansion Street food stalls. After exploring the ancient city's night views, you can simply stroll back to your room – it makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the bedding soft, and the soundproofing was good, allowing for a peaceful rest even though it's in a busy area. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient with check-in, even recommending local specialty dishes. There was plenty of hot water, stable internet, and all the amenities you need. Plus, there's free parking for those driving. It offers great value for money and is my top choice when visiting Anshun. I'll definitely stay here again.

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

📍 The location is absolutely amazing: just a 5-meter walk to the observation deck, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Miao village. It's incredibly convenient, especially for seniors. 🏨 Facilities & Service are top-notch: There's an elevator, which is a huge plus for older guests! The service is superb; everything from check-in to check-out was perfectly arranged. 🍴 The restaurant, ”Chunxi Xiaoguan,” is legendary: The sour soup fish and the intangible cultural heritage 'sweat chicken' are fantastic, great value for money, and delicious. You can also request other stir-fried dishes to be made non-spicy. This guesthouse's own restaurant is truly a hidden gem, with high ratings and many returning customers. Highly, highly recommended. From location and service to food and overall experience, this beautiful guesthouse is flawless! If you're coming to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you absolutely must stay here. It's hassle-free and perfect for photos. I'll definitely be back next time!

The city view suite is perfect for couples! With 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy cityscapes during the day and catch stunning sunsets in the evening. You can even see Jiaxiu Tower right from your bed, and every photo you take will have a great vibe. 💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had. 🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples! There are free welcome fruits and coffee/drinks at the front desk, and even laundry and drying services. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I absolutely loved it.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of privacy and service. Our dedicated butler had already contacted us to arrange everything before we even arrived. By the time we checked in, they had already booked our tickets, reserved our spot at Shuiliandong, and made dinner reservations. Our room had a private hot tub, and we could watch little squirrels跳 around in the trees outside our window. During the day, when the crowds were out, we stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the complimentary batik workshop and the hot springs. This was a perfect way to avoid the bustling crowds at Huangguoshu Waterfall during the holiday. By using the hotel's private access in the early mornings and evenings, we were able to experience the beautiful Huangguoshu Waterfall with fewer people, even during the May Day holiday.

To all the staff at Huangguoshu Yaojia Fanshe Cliffside Boutique Homestay: Our entire stay at the homestay was filled with warmth and thoughtfulness at every turn. We were truly touched and wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude through this letter. First and foremost, a special thank you to our butler, Cao Cao. She was always available, helping us carry our heavy luggage up to our room halfway up the mountain. She handled every big and small matter meticulously, always thinking of everything for us. She was incredibly reliable and attentive. We also want to thank Manager Tian. Even before we arrived, she sent us detailed travel information, proactively provided contacts for car services, and meticulously explained the itinerary for our current and next destinations. She planned our trip in advance with exceptional care. Finally, a big thank you to the two lovely service ladies who proactively came to our room to change our bedsheets and pillowcases. Their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and reassuring.

A trusted branding. I really like this hotel. Love the breakfast variety, space in room, toilet amenities and ventilation- no cigarette smoke smell which is great! Hotel staff super friendly and helpful too! Also love the laundry room. Very clean hotel. This hotel is also great for vehicles to drive in especially when there's heavy rain and ponding waters on the streets. Keeps my feet dry. Though hotel is slightly further from main attractions in Guiyang city, it's only 30 mins on average by didi to most places. I like the location due to my red eye flight- it's about 10 mins by didi to airport. Area is quiet and clean, near a school too. Super enjoyed the shopping at the The SASSEUR (Guiyang) Outlets (砂之船贵阳奥莱) too. That's also about 10 mins away. Hotel has lovely sunset too! If I return to Guiyang, I'll stay here again.
