The room's terrace had a great view, and the facilities were a bit old, but the environment was acceptable. The environment itself was beautiful, but the service was hard to describe. The front desk staff acted like ******; they wouldn't even acknowledge you unless you asked them anything, and their smiles disappeared after a few words. The security guards were even worse. Perhaps judging by our appearance, they assumed we couldn't afford the hotel and thought we'd sneaked in through the back door. They yelled at us loudly, telling us to leave, even though we repeatedly emphasized that we were hotel guests. They didn't believe us and loudly declared that we hadn't been allowed in and weren't allowed to explore the hotel. When we went over and yelled at them a couple of times, they apologized. Seriously? Does your hotel really not read reviews? So many people have complained about the poor service, and it seems nothing has changed. Did you hire all locals? They all act like complete ******. Just wait and see how they change their attitude—it'll be spectacular!

Shadow31Very bad experience. Would not recommend.
Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.

The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded our room for free and even included breakfast. The hotel offers a pick-up service, and after booking, the driver contacted me half an hour in advance to confirm my arrival station and time. The hygiene was great, with a good separation of wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Facilities were comprehensive, and the washer-dryer combo was super convenient for travelers. Service was top-notch, and the self-service breakfast included freshly cooked noodles, which was a nice touch. The environment was good overall, apart from a little noise from renovations upstairs. It's also very conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the Anshun Old Town commercial area, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Guest User🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement
I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs.
The Highlights:
The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue.
The Downsides:
However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived.
Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

The San Chun Li is right at the observation deck. After entering from the west gate and taking the sightseeing bus, contact them and a handsome guy will be waiting at the observation deck's drop-off point to help with luggage and escort you to your room. The room is spacious and clean, with direct elevator access. All drinks and fruits inside are free, no hidden charges! Breakfast is a buffet and the quality is good!
My husband and I got lost in the village and saw many people struggling with their luggage in narrow, dark alleys looking for guesthouses. We're truly so glad we chose San Chun Li!

AiwandebufeiThe city view suite is perfect for couples! With 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy cityscapes during the day and catch stunning sunsets in the evening. You can even see Jiaxiu Tower right from your bed, and every photo you take will have a great vibe.
💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had.
🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay.
Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples!
The American-style cafe downstairs is also a great spot to take photos and have coffee with your partner. There are free welcome fruits and coffee/drinks at the front desk, and even laundry and drying services. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I absolutely loved it.

My stay at Bailian Hotel Huangguoshu far exceeded my expectations. It was an incredibly relaxing escape, almost flawless from start to finish, with only two minor details worth mentioning.
The room design beautifully showcased an elegant Oriental style. It was spacious and airy, with exquisite, high-quality soft furnishings. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete and top-notch, making it perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the views. The hot springs were a major highlight; the pools were nestled discreetly within the mountains, offering a serene and private environment. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the mist-shrouded pools was a fantastic experience, allowing me to relax my mind and body while enjoying the natural beauty.
The service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive, and patient. They were always quick to respond to any requests, providing thoughtful and discreet service that made me feel truly cared for. The food was also exceptionally satisfying. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and the dishes were outstanding. Both the refined dinner and the extensive breakfast balanced nutrition and taste perfectly, delighting my palate.
The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat strong smell of the wooden furniture in the room, which dissipated after opening the windows, and the occasional presence of a few mosquitoes, which could be managed with repellents.
Overall, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel delivered top-tier quality in terms of environment, facilities, service, and dining. It truly stands out as an excellent vacation choice around Huangguoshu, and I highly recommend it.

HongdoudouWe chose this hotel with friends for a few reasons: first, it's a well-known brand; second, it's close to the airport; and third, we've had good experiences with this chain before. Our return stay certainly didn't disappoint. The spacious lobby, delicious and varied breakfast, professional service, beautiful surroundings, and immaculate cleanliness all made for a very comfortable experience. My friends even said they'd prioritize this brand for their next trip! 👍👍👍

wxch228The hotel's garden design is beautiful, and the lobby view is stunning, especially at sunset. Perhaps due to the lighting design, the hotel appears dim and a bit old-fashioned, and the rooms are no different. The Chinese restaurant, however, has good food. Due to a typhoon, my flight was canceled, so I made a last-minute decision to stay here. I spoke with the front desk twice, hoping for a 2 PM late check-out since my flight was later that evening, but was denied both times. I ended up having to wait in the lobby bar. However, I noticed several other guests checking out after 2 PM, and I also learned that the occupancy rate for the day was only around 50-60%. For a hotel positioned as a resort, this level of inflexibility is really disappointing.

PL23Booked a last minute stay with Novotel but turned out quite a positive experience!
Location is good, within walking distance to Lincheng East Metro station. Went to watch concert and hotel provided transport service from hotel to stadium, which was very helpful for us!
Also offered complimentary breakfast for one day but due to clashing of schedule we were unable to enjoy.
Hotel slippers is free size and is too big for ladies, could be quite a challenge to walk around and do note that there will be a fee for bringing back the slippers.
It will be better if there is a blind separating the toilet glass and bedroom for more privacy.
Overall, hotel furbish is on the older end but the above kind gesture of providing stadium transport and breakfast does make the experience better and location is not bad too! (:
