I'd call this the best value-for-money sea-view room! Who can understand the joy of waking up every day and seeing the ocean right from your room?! As a southerner visiting the Northeast for the first time, I absolutely loved Dalian. The nearby architecture is beautiful, food options are convenient, the sea is incredibly blue, and we even had the pleasant surprise of seeing snow! On the last day, I ate too many different things and ended up with gastroenteritis. The host was so thoughtful, helping us store our luggage and then promptly securing the items we'd left in the room. Love Dalian! See you next time, Dalian!

What an amazing experience at the Dalian Xinglan Tianji Seaview Hotel! The 180-degree panoramic seaview suite was absolutely stunning. The biggest surprise of my trip to Dalian was definitely the Dalian Xinglan Tianji Seaview Hotel's 180-degree panoramic seaview suite with two bedrooms and a living room! The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Zhongshan Square, and just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to Venice Water City and Russian Style Street. Downstairs, there's a fantastic array of food options, from seafood BBQ to local snacks – no worries about finding something delicious to eat. The high-altitude view from the 46th floor and above is simply breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a 180-degree unobstructed seaview; during the day, the clear blue sea and sky are right there, and at night, the city lights and the bay twinkle together. Every photo you take looks like a masterpiece. The two-bedroom, one-living room layout is perfect for families or friends traveling together. The space is large and airy, with a modern, minimalist decor that feels very high-quality. The room was sparkling clean. The high-speed WiFi was a great bonus, the bedding in the bedrooms was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with strong water pressure, and the toiletries are of good quality – attention to detail was evident. The service was incredibly warm and friendly. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, patiently answering all our questions and even offering free underground parking, which was a huge relief for those traveling by car. As a new hotel opened in 2024, all the facilities are brand new, and the value for money far exceeds competitors in the same price range. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Dalian. You can't go wrong with this place!

An absolutely perfect stay. The InterContinental Dalian boasts luxurious, elegant, and grand facilities. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and inviting, offering breathtaking views of the East Port shipyard and the ocean. Its prime downtown location provides incredibly convenient access to subway and bus lines, and taxi rides around the city are also very affordable. It's just a short walk to the historic century-old buildings around Zhongshan Square. Check-in was a breeze, and the service was attentive and incredibly warm. A special thank you to DANA at the front desk for her excellent service. I also appreciate the doormen who always helped me with my bags from the taxi. Finally, kudos to the F&B department for the thoughtful gesture of delivering red date and pear soup to my room in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dalian truly is a fantastic city!

After this trip, I will never forget this hotel🏨, and I plan to come here again with friends when I have time. My husband chose the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is very close to the seaside, just a minute or two walk away. The decoration inside the hotel makes people feel particularly comfortable, with reasonable layout and practical placement of items. It feels like the decoration design is very thoughtful. I heard that there were no vacancies when we booked a suite. The big bed we booked was also very good. This hotel was the most comfortable hotel to stay in during this trip. In addition, the breakfast here is also very rich, and the service staff are also very good. I will definitely come again next time. grateful

We look forward to returning again next year! The hotel is very thoughtful. We arrived on a night where it was raining really hard. They had someone outside with an umbrella to walk guests in and helped with luggages. This is a gesture I haven’t seen any hotels do. Doris our housekeeper was excellent. She’s so friendly and down to earth we loved seeing her in the hallways.

Novotel will be my top choice next time I visit Dalian! Absolutely fantastic! This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my Dalian trip. For the first two days, unfamiliar with the city, I booked a highly-rated hotel online based on its location. To my dismay, it didn't even have blackout curtains, and I was woken up by sunlight shining on my bed past 5 AM. I decisively switched to Novotel, which, coincidentally, is located in the same building. I regret that Novotel wasn't a recommended option when I made my initial booking online. **Location:** Situated in the heart of Zhongshan District, it's near Dalian Times Square (luxury shopping) and very close to Zhongshan Square and the charming Nanshan Street. Its excellent location makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. A taxi to Xinghai Square only costs around 10-20 RMB. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and leisure options in the vicinity. **Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a 'light luxury' design, which feels very comfortable and inviting. It's impeccably clean, fresh, and hygienic, with a complimentary fruit platter provided daily. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive and include everything you'd expect. There's both a laundry room and a well-equipped gym. The on-site restaurant also serves a delicious breakfast! **Service:** The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, truly making you feel at home. The staff are polite and greet you every time they see you. Even the cleaning staff proactively offer a greeting with a smile. The only minor drawback is that it shares elevators with several other hotels, and there's no key card required to access floors directly, which could be a slight security concern.

Such an amazing place. Near to metro station and venice city. Opposite the establishment are a lot of restaurants and street food plus our favourite icecream shop. We arrived really early and the got our room ready by 9:00 in the morning instead of thr normal check in time. Big room, amazing views plus free washing machine and fridge. They guve free drinking water whenever you ask and the wi-fi is fast. Very secure place and friendly reception. You get to scan their wechat account and anything you need is delivered once you ask before 4:00 evening. I must stay me and my friends had an amazing stay and we stored our luggage and went for a stroll in tiwn and everythying was ok.. i higly recommend this place for stays in Dalian

Facilities: A bit dated, with small cracks on the cabinet above the mini-fridge and some wall areas, as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it's nothing major and doesn't affect the stay; considering it's a hotel over ten years old, one shouldn't be too demanding. The hotel's facilities are generally complete, with standard luxury hotel amenities. The breakfast is decent; it offers more variety than some Westins but less than some Marriotts. However, the quality is good, especially the desserts which are delicious, and there's a wide selection of juices and milk. Some Marriott hotels even offer a full Cantonese dim sum spread, whereas here there are only a few hot dishes, making the variety seem limited, but the taste is excellent. The potatoes in the pork rib stew are very fragrant, and the boiled shrimp are quite large. All the fruits weren't sweet enough; the fruit quality could be improved. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A landmark building in Dalian, nestled against the mountain and overlooking the sea – definitely worth a visit. It's even more stunning for photos at night. It's about a 10 to 15-minute walk downhill, and a bit far from the subway station, but it's away from the city's hustle and bustle, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's a sky garden on the 5th floor, and the lobby is magnificent; any photo taken there looks great. Service: Thoughtful and attentive. Someone helps open car doors and handle luggage upon arrival. There's a dedicated butler service that tries its best to accommodate reasonable guest requests. The mini-bar requires extra payment, but a welcome fruit platter and dessert were provided, along with a large bottle of homemade beer. This hotel's beer isn't available online, but it's genuinely delicious.

Traveling with a friend, this hotel is located at Xinghai Square, and it's a 10-minute walk to the sea, so the location is great. The hotel has a bathhouse on the basement level, and guests receive complimentary tickets. As someone from the south, it was my first time experiencing Northeastern bathhouse culture, and I really felt the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Also, the hotel rooms are quite spacious and the temperature was a bit high; I actually sweated at night. Opening the window for ventilation made it more comfortable. Overall, it was a good stay with high value for money.

Our stay was incredibly satisfying. The hotel contacted us a day before check-in to confirm our travel plans and even prepared a thoughtful setup with wine for us. From check-in to check-out, the staff's service was consistently warm, professional, and responsive. A big thank you to front desk staff Kailey and Ricky, and to Crystal, the Front Office Manager. My girlfriend said Crystal's daily greetings made us feel a sense of belonging in a place over 2,000 kilometers away from home. Yesterday, we happened to catch the room next door being cleaned. My girlfriend was very curious about the layout of that room, so she asked the housekeeping staff if we could take a look. The housekeeping attendant was very friendly and generously showed us what the views were like from the other side of the hotel. A special thanks to Shenghong from housekeeping. We are really looking forward to staying at the Grand Hyatt again on our next vacation. While the views are shared by the city, it's your service that truly makes the Grand Hyatt stand out.
