"Staying at this hotel during my trip to Dalian was a great choice. Located in the Donggang area, I mainly booked it for the sea view, and it certainly didn't disappoint—the ocean and night views are stunning, right across from the Water City. The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming. The room is spacious with two large queen beds, separated by a sliding door. The room amenities are fully equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. You can even enjoy the sea view and the unique, beautiful architecture of the Water City right from your bed. The hygiene and facilities are also top-notch; it was very clean, the shower water was nice and hot, the AC worked great, and it even came with a large refrigerator. Whenever we needed anything, the butler responded very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍 We visited the Water City both day and night, and felt the night lighting was even more breathtaking, with small boats gliding by and surrounding restaurants reflecting on the water—truly gorgeous. It's also very convenient to go to the coast to see seagulls. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with choosing this hotel. Just a quick tip: when taking a taxi, locating the hotel, or ordering food delivery, entering through Hengli Hotel is much more convenient."

"The room environment and location were decent. There was a slight hiccup during check-in, but I was really touched by the sincere and professional attitude of the short-haired lady at the front desk who resolved it (her professionalism deserves a thumbs up – hotel service and problem-solving attitude are everything). I hope the hotel will also prioritize guests booking through platforms like Trip.com in the future. If they're only going to focus on guests who book directly through H Rewards and get late check-out privileges, then I suggest they stop taking bookings on online platforms altogether."

"We were looking for a hotel with an ocean view in Bayuquan Shanhai Square and this one immediately caught our eye. Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect; you can walk to the beach in just two or three minutes. It's so convenient to head downstairs and enjoy clam digging, and the hotel even provides complimentary buckets and shovels for guests. Our ocean-view room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a private balcony offering expansive views. We could literally watch the entire sunset over the ocean from our bed. The room was meticulously clean, and we appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, the comfortable mattress, and the full set of branded toiletries. The breakfast buffet each morning was abundant and fresh, with a great variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. Zoe provided excellent service. Parking and dining were also very convenient. This hotel offers incredible value for money and is definitely our top choice for a seaside getaway in Bayuquan. We'll be staying here again for our next beach trip and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing ocean-view vacation!"

"Amazing! We switched to this hotel last minute from another one in the middle of the night. The room was bright, spacious, and filled with sunlight, facing directly east, so we even got to experience a romantic sunrise without leaving the room! Downstairs is the Venice Water City, which is great for a stroll! The night view is also beautiful, and there are plenty of food and drink options. The owner is really nice; early in the morning, when we went to the front desk with our big suitcases to check in, the owner thoughtfully helped us with our luggage. Next time we go to Dalian, we'll definitely stay here again! It was fantastic."

"The hotel is located in Grand Gateway Apartments, with a front desk on the first floor, making check-in and luggage storage convenient. The staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic and will send you important notices. Downstairs, there's a Luckin Coffee and Subway, which is very convenient for a quick breakfast. Taxis are also easy to find, and there's a subway station just a minute's walk away. The room is a suite with two rooms and two beds, suitable for family travel. Although the decor looks a bit dated, the overall cleanliness is good. At 200 during the off-peak season, it's pretty good value for money."

"We stayed for two nights during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. This hotel, newly opened 25 years ago, boasts spacious rooms with new facilities and no unpleasant odors, and the hygiene is excellent. Overall, it was a very good experience. The only minor drawback was the limited variety of breakfast items and the small restaurant area, which was all squeezed into a small space on the first floor. During peak hours, guests had to use the lobby bar area for dining. However, the service was quite disappointing. When checking in, I requested a late check-out until 2 PM due to flight schedules, and the front desk agreed. This isn't an unreasonable request, as hotel chains like Huazhu and Atour typically offer basic 2 PM check-outs. On the day of check-out, I was still sleeping when someone loudly knocked on the door before 1 PM, reminding me to check out. I informed them through the door about my late check-out, and they acknowledged it. I was surprised whether there was no communication between the front desk and housekeeping, or if the front desk simply agreed verbally without marking it on the system on the day of check-in. Less than ten minutes after I lay down for a nap, I received a call asking if I wanted to extend my stay, stating that the check-out time had passed. Whether traveling for leisure or business, from budget hotels costing a hundred yuan to luxury brands costing several thousands, I've never encountered such an issue before. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management and training in this area."
