Romantic Hotels in Xinjiang, China

First and foremost, this hotel accepts foreigners. The hotel is quite ok but not great. I booked a no-window non-smoking room (don’t do it, go for room with window) because I thought there is more chance people still smoke in non-smoking rooms with windows. The first room they gave me, put the key card on and electricity didn’t work. Waited for them to check with no result so I was relocated to another room. It’s non-smoking but I can clearly smell the smoke. Took 2 days for the smoke smell to go away which is a pity. The room is small but enough for a solo like me. Each floor they built 4 lines of rooms, the 2 middle lines stay wall-to-wall to each other and are the ‘no-window’ rooms. I would definitely recommend you to choose the room with window, because it means you don’t share a lot of ‘walls’ to other room and have a window to open at least for circulation if room is smelly or if room is too hot. In my case, my room smells smoke, and the room heater system only allows 34-37 degree celsius which is crazy! Very hot if turned on so I had to turn it off the whole time I stay at the hotel. Even though it is winter time, the whole hotel is already on heater. Unable to adjust room temperature is annoying because it means no air circulation. There is a blowing machine (similar to a fan) in the room but it is not efficient quickly enough. The room feels extremely suffocating. I did really wish for a window. Also because the no-window rooms share 3 walls with other rooms (not counting the upper floor), it’s more bad-luck chances for weird noise. In my case, I had to endure one whole freaking night with 2 loud Uyghur couples who cannot hold themselves back from banging the freak out and making all kinds of terrible terrible noise. Seems like no soundproof for these walls.

The hotel is located in the Cultural and Arts center, which is a free entrance if you're a hotel guest. They have traditional Uyghur music and dance performances throughout the day. The room is nice enough, the WiFi is better than most places we've stayed in. Breakfast was basic, packed and delivered to our room because it's off peak season and the number of guests were low. Overall, it was good for a 1-2 night stay.

Traveling to Kashgar, I stayed for two nights at this hotel. It's located in what was formerly the British Consulate in Kashgar (established in 1908), then the Indo-Pakistani Consulate, and is now a national cultural heritage site, making it incredibly rich in history. The hotel's location is excellent, diagonally opposite the West Gate of Kashgar Old City, and the surrounding area is very lively. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service is attentive and warm. I especially recommend the breakfast – it's super delicious with a huge variety, including freshly cooked noodles and freshly fried eggs, which is quite impressive for Xinjiang.

The hotel was very large with a good dining hall for breakfast and dinner. The location is great if you have a car as it is quite far from and shops and the town. We stayed in the barrel home which was fantastic. Although I was at first disappointed as the swimming pool and the Sand treatment was closed, but upon asking, they opened both for us. It was a wonderful place to stay.

The room was spotless, and the family room was spacious enough for a family of four. **Facilities**: Having a washer and dryer was very convenient. **Cleanliness**: Still excellent. **Environment**: There's a parking lot, which is a big plus. **Service**: The staff had a great attitude, and you can even borrow books to read on the first floor.

Old remodeled hotel, the floor tiles of the elevator are broken. Fortunately, the room is big enough, the health is OK, the backyard has a slow charging pile for new energy is very friendly. There is a night market at the entrance of the parking lot, and the surrounding dining is rich. It is a good place to come to Turpan for tourism! Breakfast is also given discounts and gifts. It's this Turpan that is hot and dry. Can't stand it

I highly recommend this hotel – for its service, cleanliness, facilities, and convenient transportation. We were on a road trip with our child and just happened to discover there was a meteor shower over the next two days, so we booked a 'stargazing RV'. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive, worried that the RV might not be up to par. However, once we settled in, we found that despite its compact size, it was fully equipped and even had two air conditioners that could both cool and heat. **Facilities:** The hot water came on quickly, and there was a swinging chair where you could sit, enjoy the breeze, and take in the view. The ceiling above the large bed could open and close, featuring a glass dome that completely kept out mosquitoes and other insects. In the common area, there were 9 washing machines and 9 dryers. The washing machines finished in 30 minutes, while the dryers took two hours. We managed to get all our clothes sparkling clean and perfectly dry there. **Cleanliness:** The RV was very clean and well-maintained, with no unpleasant odors. **Environment:** This hotel is quite large, with one section for traditional hotel rooms and another for RVs. Next time, I think I'd try staying in the hotel rooms; one RV experience was enough. Our child absolutely loved it. **Service:** The service was absolutely outstanding. We had purchased two-day tickets, and parking at the attraction was very difficult. So, we pre-arranged for them to pick us up and drop us off, which they did very promptly and enthusiastically. Thanks to them, we were able to complete our early morning hike on the second day. The restaurant next door, called 'White Birch Kitchen' (Bai Hua Xiao Chu), was also delicious. It seemed to be their partner restaurant, and I found the food quite good, especially the scrambled eggs with tomatoes – our child ate three bowls of rice! The prices were also very reasonable, and the ambiance was great. After our dinner for three, they even gave us three breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, which worked out perfectly for our early departure to the scenic area the next morning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. After hearing our description, our family decided they'd definitely stay here on their next visit. **Facilities (A Small Suggestion):** Since we booked a 'stargazing RV' specifically to watch the stars, we noticed that a very large light, possibly for safety reasons, illuminated the entire RV area. This did slightly interfere with stargazing.

The room was spacious and odorless. It was clean and the environment was pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The surrounding area was quiet, making it a very nice place to rest. I was very satisfied and would stay here again! Free breakfast was provided, and it was delicious 😋 Cleanliness: Very clean, excellent, and I was extremely satisfied 👍

The hotel is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and I had a great night’s sleep after a long day of traveling. The only downside was communication. The staff were friendly and willing to help, but they could not speak English, so checking in and asking for information was a bit difficult. Having a translation app is highly recommended. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. If you don’t mind the language barrier, this hotel is a great choice and offers good value for money.
