"The owner is a handsome guy born in the 2000s. We booked a room for three with breakfast, but there were four of us girls, and he kindly provided four breakfasts. He also upgraded our room to two 1.8-meter large beds. There were plenty of activities, including a bonfire party, a fireworks show, stargazing explanations, and a 'grass identification' activity on the lawn. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed, so we missed out on seeing the starry sky and the bonfire party was canceled. However, the owner personally drove around to each tent and gave us small fireworks, which somewhat made up for the disappointment. The camp is quite remote, deep in the desert, and it took a long, long drive to get there. I'd recommend self-driving for anyone planning to visit. The pick-up and drop-off service was very prompt; basically, as soon as we mentioned needing a ride, the shuttle arrived. The owner is a fantastic person, enthusiastic and lively. He’s a customer service rep, a butler, and the boss all rolled into one – truly a jack-of-all-trades. The next morning, we participated in the desert 'grass identification' activity, which was both educational and fun, especially digging for water in the sand. It felt very engaging. The sandboarding at the camp was also very exciting, even more thrilling than Shapotou. Some friends who hadn't mastered the technique even tumbled off, but sand doesn't hurt, so everyone can feel free to try it out. Finally, a shout-out to our young owner's photography skills – he captured the moment perfectly and his technique was spot on!"

"This hotel is located right in the heart of the Tengger Desert. The rooms are clean and tidy, with private bathrooms and air conditioning. The 2.4-meter-wide bed was big enough for our family of three. Right behind the room, there's a vast expanse of desert where you can play barefoot. Sand-digging tools and sandboards are also provided. The kids had an absolute blast. In the evening, there was a bonfire party with an amazing host who really got the crowd going! There was also a fireworks display. Afterwards, a kind young lady taught the children about stargazing. The owner is very welcoming and always happy to help. They provide a dedicated shuttle service for guests entering and exiting the scenic area, which is very convenient. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and lunch and dinner can be ordered à la carte, with meals that sufficiently met our needs. We even received a thoughtful little gift upon check-in! Compared to Shapotou, I feel this place offers much better value for money!"
