Romantic Hotels in Jilin, China

Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

Comfortable hotel, with a big space area! Perfect for 2 travellers with big luggages. The aircon doesn’t work during winter, so we had to open the windows for some airflow. It’s a popular local hotel, as we can tell from many tour buses that drop people off there. They say there’s a limit of 4 bottles of water that they can give a room. Which was disappointing especially when we tend to drink a lot of water. The laundry room also closes at 9pm, and only opens at 10am. It’s very easy to get didi there though, so it’s great.

The location is fantastic, just a 200-meter walk from People's Square subway station, surrounded by shopping centers like Zhuozhan, Wanda Plaza, and Mixc. There are also many attractions nearby, such as Yongxing Morning Market, the Botanical and Zoological Garden, Guilin Road, and the Puppet Manchukuo Palace, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The breakfast selection is extensive, offering freshly cooked noodles, wontons, Chinese pastries, bread, yogurt, coffee, and fruit – everything you could want. The hotel heating is very strong; I even had to open a window a bit because it got a little too warm. I also asked the front desk for a humidifier, as the northern weather can be quite dry. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and gave great recommendations for local attractions and delicious restaurants. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. It felt brand new, with smart home features like a Xiao Du voice assistant, a smart toilet, and electric curtains. The hot water supply was excellent. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. They even offer free Hanfu experiences in the lobby! 😁😁😁

Our New Year's Eve stay here was fantastic. Martina at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, assisting us with the hotel map, and other staff even brought us matches in the evening. Breakfast was also excellent; the restaurant manager, Chen Xin, helped us to our seats, providing superb service. The hotel gym and swimming pool are both great, and the courtyard view from our king room was lovely! We'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

The front desk staff were incredibly sweet, especially Zhang Ting and Xiao Hou, who made check-in and check-out super fast and even upgraded our room! The ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, and the complimentary cable car tickets took us straight to the mountaintop. Our room was wonderfully warm, and soaking in a bath with a snowy view after skiing was absolute perfection. The breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. This truly lives up to its five-star rating; we'll definitely be back!

The Crowne Plaza Changbaishan Hot Spring Hotel is truly one of the best resort hotels I've ever stayed at! From the butler service to the hot springs, every detail was a pleasant surprise, absolutely deserving of a five-star rating. Butler Service: Before check-in, the butler proactively created a chat group, offering station pickup, ticket booking (thanks to Smile!), and itinerary suggestions (thanks to Yunduo, Yuebai, and Shanyue!). They handled every little detail with such care, just like a friend. No matter what request I had, the butler was always on hand to resolve it immediately. Hot Spring Experience: The Julong Volcano Hot Spring is a natural hot spring, rich in minerals. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor pools to choose from, and soaking in the snow was incredibly therapeutic. Family-Friendly: The pet park has alpacas and sika deer, and children can also enjoy snow tubing and building snowmen. It's truly the top choice for a family getaway. Natural Scenery: The hotel is surrounded by primeval forest, offering stunning snowy views right outside the window. The environment is serene, perfect for relaxation. Dining: Breakfast: The buffet offers a wide variety, including Northeastern specialties and Western dishes – all delicious. Dining Options: The hotel has a Chinese restaurant and a buffet restaurant, and there's also a food street nearby, making dining convenient. However, ordering delivery can be difficult! Convenient Transportation: They provide dedicated car service to pick up and drop off at the high-speed rail station and major attractions. There are also frequent shuttle buses to the ski resort, making travel worry-free. Self-driving is also convenient, with ample parking spaces. Location: It's right next to the North Scenic Area gate, a 13-minute walk to the scenic area, with a VIP passage that saves time and effort. Summary: The Crowne Plaza Changbaishan Hot Spring Hotel's service, facilities, and location are all impeccable. It's the perfect choice for experiencing Changbaishan's hot springs and natural scenery. Highly recommended! Although I couldn't see Tianchi Lake this time, I will be back!👍

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, within walking distance or a short shuttle ride. The shuttle service is super convenient, departing as soon as you arrive and getting you to the slopes in just 2 minutes. The hotel itself is warm, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere – you can comfortably wear a T-shirt indoors. All the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. The restaurant offers a fantastic late-night snack selection every evening, with beef noodles, beef vermicelli, orange juice, milk, and wontons – it's incredibly rich! The room layout is well-designed, and they even provided complimentary beverages. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

It's close to the train station, about 1 kilometer away, which is more convenient if you want to get in and out of the high-speed rail station. Breakfast is cheap but not much to eat. I booked a parent-child room and was given a room at the end. I had to go out to the corridor to go back in after going around a lot. It was particularly troublesome in the cold weather. The toilet was easy to get clogged. The toilet was clogged on the first day. The hotel is opposite Victory Park and there is a subway station. It is very convenient to travel by subway. But you have to take a taxi to go to other attractions, which are not very close.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the town and the North Slope. It's about a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service. The hotel features its own hot springs, where you can relax and soak while enjoying beautiful views of the Erdaobai River. They even have unique large iron pot hot spring baths, creating a truly wonderful atmosphere. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. The hotel's restaurant, 'Shao Jiu Guan,' impressed with its authentic Northeastern Chinese decor and cuisine. It boasts a lovely setting with the Erdaobai River flowing just outside its windows. When I asked the butler to reserve a table, I specifically requested a window seat if possible and was confirmed that one had been booked. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, just as a server was leading us towards a window table, another staff member abruptly informed us that all window seats were taken due to earlier bookings. We were then told to either sit in an inner section or return later. Oddly enough, after we had settled at an inner table and placed our order, we were suddenly told that a window seat had become available. This really put a damper on our dining experience. It would have been much better if they had simply informed us during the booking process if a window seat wasn't available.

Service: Free pick-up, and the owner even helped carry three suitcases upstairs – very thoughtful service. Facilities: Excellent location, right downstairs from the Genting Market, with lots of small shops to browse. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful and couldn't be set to heat, so it was a bit cold.
