We had a great time at Wanda Vista. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Service was always very friendly and 小袁 was very attentive to all our requests. The location is prime, right next to many major attractions. We would definitely recommend!

The reception service staff was good and helpful especially that lady who works in the day time. She has guided me on the whereabouts within the surrounding of the hotel. She recommended a nearby big mall within walking distance whereby you can find all the local stuffs including a food court at the top of the mall where you can get reasonable good Korean food. Hotel was conveniently surrounded by big shopping mall. Getting food & buying stuffs was relatively easy.

I booked this room for my friends, and it was their family's first time visiting Northeast China. They were absolutely delighted with their stay! My friend specifically told me to make sure I left a great review for the hotel. She mentioned how bright and welcoming the lobby was as soon as they walked in, and the service was excellent – they were even offered water upon arrival. The room was very warm, and the breakfast spread was incredibly varied; the kids ate so much they were stuffed! They said they'll definitely stay here again next time they come to the Northeast.
Our New Year's Eve stay here was fantastic. Martina at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, assisting us with the hotel map, and other staff even brought us matches in the evening. Breakfast was also excellent; the restaurant manager, Chen Xin, helped us to our seats, providing superb service. The hotel gym and swimming pool are both great, and the courtyard view from our king room was lovely! We'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

The front desk staff were incredibly sweet, especially Zhang Ting and Xiao Hou, who made check-in and check-out super fast and even upgraded our room! The ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, and the complimentary cable car tickets took us straight to the mountaintop. Our room was wonderfully warm, and soaking in a bath with a snowy view after skiing was absolute perfection. The breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. This truly lives up to its five-star rating; we'll definitely be back!
Facilities: The room exceeded my expectations. I loved that the toilet and shower were in two separate, unconnected rooms, which prevented any issues when both were needed simultaneously. The hotel's hot spring was very photogenic, had a children's area, a game room, and outdoor photo spots. The hot spring was definitely the most satisfying part! There's a shuttle service to the ski resort and Changbai Mountain, but honestly, I'd suggest they arrange a larger bus to take guests directly to the ticket office in the mornings. It's really cold, and walking on the snowy ground can be slippery for older people.
Hygiene: I stayed for two nights, and on the second day, they forgot to clean. I contacted our butlers, Shanqiu and Songyue, and they immediately arranged for cleaning and even gave us an 85% discount on dining. Their attitude was excellent! The issue was handled quickly and efficiently, and the butlers responded to all my questions promptly. Thumbs up! Beyond expectations.
Environment: The environment goes without saying – it's excellent.
Service: The butler contacted me two days in advance, and the service was superb! Butlers Shanqiu and Songyue were fantastic! 👍

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, within walking distance or a short shuttle ride. The shuttle service is super convenient, departing as soon as you arrive and getting you to the slopes in just 2 minutes. The hotel itself is warm, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere – you can comfortably wear a T-shirt indoors. All the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. The restaurant offers a fantastic late-night snack selection every evening, with beef noodles, beef vermicelli, orange juice, milk, and wontons – it's incredibly rich! The room layout is well-designed, and they even provided complimentary beverages. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

It's close to the train station, about 1 kilometer away, which is more convenient if you want to get in and out of the high-speed rail station. Breakfast is cheap but not much to eat. I booked a parent-child room and was given a room at the end. I had to go out to the corridor to go back in after going around a lot. It was particularly troublesome in the cold weather. The toilet was easy to get clogged. The toilet was clogged on the first day. The hotel is opposite Victory Park and there is a subway station. It is very convenient to travel by subway. But you have to take a taxi to go to other attractions, which are not very close.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the town and the North Slope. It's about a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service. The hotel features its own hot springs, where you can relax and soak while enjoying beautiful views of the Erdaobai River. They even have unique large iron pot hot spring baths, creating a truly wonderful atmosphere. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated.
The hotel's restaurant, 'Shao Jiu Guan,' impressed with its authentic Northeastern Chinese decor and cuisine. It boasts a lovely setting with the Erdaobai River flowing just outside its windows. When I asked the butler to reserve a table, I specifically requested a window seat if possible and was confirmed that one had been booked. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, just as a server was leading us towards a window table, another staff member abruptly informed us that all window seats were taken due to earlier bookings. We were then told to either sit in an inner section or return later. Oddly enough, after we had settled at an inner table and placed our order, we were suddenly told that a window seat had become available. This really put a damper on our dining experience. It would have been much better if they had simply informed us during the booking process if a window seat wasn't available.

Location is good, near to most of the tourist attractions. Only bad side for me is that their bath towels stink of cigarettes smell, and the walls are pretty thin. First 3 nights into my stay was good, the last 2 days was terrible as a family checked in beside my room, made so much noise and the thin walls could not block those sounds. Anyone who is a light sleeper please do not come here.

MM741677****The front desk staff were quick and professional. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel's location is great, close to the North Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.
GGuest UserWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.
GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
Vv8989We stayed 3 nights at Holiday Inn Express Changbaishan during the ***** New Year holiday and had a pleasant experience overall.
The highlight of our stay was truly the staff. Since we don’t speak Chinese, their assistance meant a lot to us. One staff member, 高娟(Amy) went above and beyond by helping us book tickets to winter rafting & Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, recommending local dishes to try, and regularly checking in to see if we needed any help. Thanks to her suggestion, we tried the ginseng chicken soup, which was absolutely delicious. Her service and kindness were exceptional 😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏
Although the hotel feels a bit outdated, it is well maintained. The room was charmingly decorated with their cute duck mascot. The duck pillows and matching blanket give the room a playful vibe 🤭
Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, although the taste could be improved.
Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Changbai Mountain area.

CChuxiyanMy experience at the Wanda Jin Changbaishan hotel was absolutely fantastic! (Definitely recommend booking a package deal). A huge shoutout to my personal butler, Xueman, who was incredibly attentive from before my arrival all the way through my stay.
Before I even left, she proactively reached out to confirm my itinerary and provided daily updates on the weather, attraction openings, and ski slope conditions. She even clarified important details like the North Scenic Area's Heavenly Lake being closed but the West Scenic Area being open, which allowed me to plan my activities perfectly without any unnecessary stress.
Upon arrival, she thoroughly explained everything from breakfast times and Wi-Fi connection to how to use the minibar and afternoon tea availability. She was super responsive and answered all my questions promptly. When issues arose, she was quick to help resolve them with a gentle yet professional demeanor, making me feel completely at ease. The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the ski resort and the town. They also provide shuttle service to the hot springs and water park! Highly recommend! The only minor downside was that the beds in the room were only 1.2 meters wide.
YYouschMy fiancé and I stayed here this weekend to celebrate our engagement.
We arrived at CGIG Nanshan Hotel feeling stressed and drained, but we have left feeling reenergized and joyful.
The food was a delicious combination of Western and Chinese to suit all guests' tastes.
The architecture was stunning; it felt like we were staying at a castle in France. Size was not the only impressive feature though. Every corner of the building was cleaned thoroughly at all times.
The staff were all kind, attentive and treated us like royalty. When there was one small delay, they made an effort to resolve the issue quickly and gave us very nice gifts as a goodwill gesture.
We definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who visits Changchun.
夏夏丽The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants.
It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old.
You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures.
There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options).
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

GGuest UserI went there on New Year's Day. The villa is particularly beautiful. In the mountains, it's so beautiful when it snows! ! ! ! ! ! When I booked Tianhuofeng, the room gap was quite large. My friends had to pay attention to room allocation when traveling. The room is a bit dark, but very beautiful! ! ! All are wooden. The hotel gave away ski tickets and hot spring tickets. For the hot spring, I chose Lanjing Ecological International! ! Super super pretty! ! The service in the villa is very good and the people are very nice! ! Recommended! ! ! It is recommended to drive there by yourself.
