Comfortable hotel, with a big space area! Perfect for 2 travellers with big luggages. The aircon doesn’t work during winter, so we had to open the windows for some airflow. It’s a popular local hotel, as we can tell from many tour buses that drop people off there. They say there’s a limit of 4 bottles of water that they can give a room. Which was disappointing especially when we tend to drink a lot of water. The laundry room also closes at 9pm, and only opens at 10am. It’s very easy to get didi there though, so it’s great.

Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

Great hotel! I liked everything very much. Good location! next to the center. Shopping centers 10 minutes walk. The rooms have everything for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed, 2 types of cool pillows, soft blanket. A great place to relax after an active day. Lovely girls work at the reception, who will always help you in everything and treat you to coffee or tea. I recommend this hotel for booking! I really want to come back here again!

This hot spring hotel is only a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making it perfect if you don't want to travel far into the mountains for a soak. I highly recommend the outdoor hot springs; there are far fewer people than indoors, and it's not cold at all if you briefly step out of the water – just be careful not to get your hair wet. The breakfast selection was quite diverse. Aside from the hot springs and various perks, the hotel itself is pretty average. The room decor is very plain, there are no smart controls, and not even a smart toilet. The most critical issue is the terrible soundproofing; you can hear everything happening outside the door crystal clear.

The hotel was very comfortable, with two pillow types to choose from. Because it's a Republican-era building, I initially thought it would be dated, but upon arrival, I discovered that only the exterior was dated; the interior was very modern! I immediately canceled my previous reservation for another hotel and booked this one the very night I checked in! The room had Xiaodu, and hahahahahaha, I've discovered I really enjoy using Xiaodu; this little AI is so convenient for everyday life. The hotel staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service; I give them a thumbs-up! A few negative points: the shower head in the bathroom was so high that even a short person could barely reach it. I had to ask the front desk several times to raise it while showering; the height was incredibly inconvenient.

The location was an even bigger bonus: right next to MixC shopping mall and Renmin Square Metro Station. It was just a few minutes' walk to transfer metro lines or go shopping, making both commuting and finding food incredibly convenient. The front desk handled check-in with impressive efficiency and proactively introduced the hotel facilities and local attractions, even helping me with my luggage to the elevator. The housekeeping aunties were meticulous and thoughtful, proactively asking about my needs and replenishing supplies promptly. One evening, when I asked for directions, a front desk staff member patiently answered my questions and even helped me check bus times. Throughout my stay, I felt a genuine sense of warmth and being at home – it didn't feel like a hotel at all, but rather like returning to a familiar place. ☕ **Breakfast and Taste** Breakfast was full of surprises! The variety was astounding, with Chinese porridges, freshly made noodles, hot dishes, and local specialties all available. Western-style bread, coffee, and fresh fruit were equally impressive. I particularly loved the freshly made noodles here; they were authentic and comforting. The bread was soft and delicious, the coffee rich and aromatic, and the fruits were always fresh daily. The dining environment was clean and bright, and the staff proactively refilled tea/water and cleared plates promptly. A rich breakfast like this perfectly set a good mood for the whole day – truly satisfying! In summary, my stay was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel whether you're traveling solo, on a business trip, or with friends! Great experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan! The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated. The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone. The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited. We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches. Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee. After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway.

I have to commend the exceptional service provided by Butler Xinxin at Changbai Mountain Lan Jing Hotel – our entire experience was absolutely fantastic! From arranging our pick-up at the high-speed rail station before check-in to promptly processing our arrival and personally escorting us to our room, Xinxin went above and beyond. They even thoughtfully prepared child-friendly amenities like a bed rail for our little one. As soon as we settled in, the butler provided a warm welcome, detailed information about hotel facilities, park entry requirements for Changbai Mountain, and essential ski gear. They even helped us arrange ski suit rentals, saving us a lot of hassle. The next day, our ski tickets and shuttle bus were pre-booked, making the entire process worry-free. When we wanted to visit Edelweiss Town after skiing, the butler immediately arranged for a driver to pick us up and drop us off. The driver patiently waited for us until we returned around 10 PM. The hotel room was quiet and comfortable, and the butler proactively checked in each evening to see if we needed anything, and in the mornings, they provided timely updates on the latest Changbai Mountain park entry information. The day before our departure, the butler once again pre-arranged our shuttle to the station, ensuring a seamless connection. The dining also deserves a special mention; breakfast was particularly delicious. The noodle-making auntie was very friendly, and the staff clearing tables were quick and attentive. From the small details to the overall arrangements, everything was impeccable – professional and heartwarming. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Changbai Mountain!

Had an amazing time soaking in the hot springs here; the Changbai Mountain hot springs are truly delightful. The VIP access is an absolute lifesaver – no need to wake up early to visit Changbai Mountain! The butler service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and they even upgraded us to a mountain view room for free, which offered stunning views. They also helped us book the buffet and arranged a car to town. Their responses were super prompt. The only minor points were that the hotel mattress was a bit soft for my liking, and I was surprised there were no complimentary drinks or welcome fruit in the mini-bar. Other than that, everything was perfect!

This hotel is the best choice for visiting the Yanji Chinese Korean Folklore Park during the holidays. Not only can you enjoy unlimited entry and exit of the Folklore Park when you stay there, but you can also enjoy the entire park when the Folklore Park is off work and take pictures of the beautiful scenery in the park at will. The B&B area has the best environment, the most beautiful scenery, and the most unique architecture in the park. It is an excellent place to take pictures and check in. The B&B service is thoughtful and considerate, especially Brother Li is serious and responsible, patient and meticulous, and perfectly answers various questions during the stay, which is very touching. Sincerely wish the business to be prosperous and the source of customers to keep rolling!
