The hotel was nice, breakfast had some nice options but there was room for improvement. The rooms had a problem with their wifi signals and they charge for delivery to the rooms from their ground floor restaurant. They have a metro close by for access to tourist spots.

It was great. I requested them to prepare something nice as I was traveling with my wife. The hotel staff were kind enough to arrange it. Overall great facility, walking distance from the bus stop other public transportation facilities.

The room was spotless and odor-free, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. It's also really convenient for getting around, offering fantastic value for money. Overall, a superb experience! I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

I live in the centre of Istanbul, I just wanted a night in the middle of nowhere to relax and this place is great. Super clean, huge comfy bed, best shower ever, amazing buffet breakfast with huge variety of dishes, spotless spa in the basement with sauna, hamam, steam room and heated pool. Not a sound in the room, I had a great sleep. The receptionists are rude and won't even say Hello but it's Turkey, I expect it. The breakfast staff will take your plate away while you're eating but again, Turkish behaviour. There are cockroaches in the room but not too many and not too big. Would definitely recommend it, great value for money

Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

The gym's opening hours weren't long enough. There was nothing to eat for breakfast. It seemed like a vegetarian restaurant. Absolutely nothing to eat. My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Turkey was incredibly unpleasant. It wasn't because the room wasn't spacious enough – it was quite large. The problem was the terrible breakfast. For a five-star hotel, which charges a bit more than average for a five-star, the breakfast was awful. It felt like walking into a vegetarian restaurant. There wasn't a single piece of meat, no bacon, no salmon. No beef, steak, or chicken drumsticks either. Even if it were a Chinese restaurant, it lacked any meat dishes. It was all vegetarian, except for a few boiled eggs. Then there were scrambled eggs, tomato and scrambled eggs, and a red ham. This red ham was the star of the show at breakfast, appearing in all sorts of ways: bright red in the cold dishes, cooked red, and sliced with tomatoes. It showed up in three different forms, a total of five times. Eating that one type of red sausage made me question my sanity. Also, the gym wasn't open 24 hours. It was from 9 AM to 9 PM. People traveling for business to Turkey are already at client meetings by 9 AM. By the time you get back from entertaining clients, tired, you just want to rest. The hotel's overall hardware was good. However, the hallway leading to the elevators in Block B was extremely narrow. From the elevator exit to the window, it was less than a meter wide, making it feel very cramped and uncomfortable. The food tables were so high! You had to stand on tiptoes just to see what was in the dishes. Even in countries with taller people, I haven't seen restaurant tables this high, with shelves stacked one on top of the other for dishes and bread. You couldn't even grab the bread with the tongs. I have no idea who designed these tables. The staff in Turkey aren't that much taller than us Chinese, are they? It was very inconsiderate and impractical. Maybe the hotel was busy, but when I went down for breakfast around 7 AM, there were no seats available. Absolutely nowhere to sit. No one assigned seats; you just had to find one yourself. Occasionally, there'd be an empty table, but it wouldn't be cleaned. So I ended up eating standing at the central counter. A waiter impatiently told me to squeeze in at someone else's table. But it wasn't cleaned! How am I supposed to sit there if it's not cleaned? There really wasn't much choice for food. Only one type of red sausage – cold, cooked, all the same. And cherry tomatoes. I couldn't get full, let alone enjoy my meal. If they don't improve, I won't be coming back. I'm so disappointed.

Hotel is located far from the city in an ugly industrial district. Nowhere to go around. Amenities are old and worn. Safety box and sink were broken, shower did not work well, blankets had stains, pillows were horrible. Spa is just a couple of saunas and outdoor pool. This place is only good for transfer passengers.

I'm absolutely thrilled with my stay at this fantastic hotel in Istanbul. The entire team was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome at all times. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which is particularly important to me. The spa area was simply amazing and perfectly completed my stay. I would book this hotel again anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend it!

A world class hotel in the heart of New Istanbul. All queries expertly attended to and the hotel rooms were spotless and the location is ideal with some of the most breathtaking views of the Bosporous and Istanbul. Went to the roof top for refreshment and managed to really enjoy the holiday to the full. The hotel deserves its five star rating.😊

Super fantastic hotel, very nice and friendly receptionist. The receptionist is a very handsome boy with an angelic smile. I like Turkish people and beautiful sceneries, trust me, it’s unbelievable. I think moments in the Turkey is my most precious and unforgettable experience in my life. I strongly recommend the hotel “vita cave hotel” , which is located in Ortahisar🍀❤️👍🇹🇷
