Located about 20 kilometers from the airport, the room had windows on three sides with unobstructed sea views. The service was excellent; they even called in Chinese in the morning to remind us to have breakfast. The Turkish people are very hospitable.

Guest UserPerfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul.
Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch.
I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner.
One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes.
That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel!
Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

Akif.My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
Thank you, Double Tree
Regards Akif

550kkThe hotel is extremely clean compared to other 5 star hotels in Turkey. The staff at reception. Together with Staff in the restaurant , concierge and the bell boy were all extremely helpful and polite. Always ready to help. The restaurant dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic 👌. The hotel is very well located. It is a 15 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia, Bascillica Cistern, Blue Mosque. 7 mins walk to Grand Bazaar . The interior of the hotel looks magnificent with the old style charm but all newly renovated. I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in Istanbul. 😀😃😄

GaryCTAn amazing experience! The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dolmabahçe Palace. You can walk to the seaside and it's very close to the pier, perfect for evening sightseeing cruises. The service was also excellent and comprehensive. On the hotel's L level, there are Michelin-starred restaurants, including Turkish, Italian, and Japanese options, which is very convenient. The hotel's views are also fantastic, with different room types offering various views, so you can choose according to your preference!

Great appartments, wonderful facilities around the hotel compound. Found the cleaning staff in particular to be very helpful and friendly, specifically Sebahat and Nurgyl. When I noticed that the bedroom window was a little dusty they very cheerfully went and got everything needed to clean the windows there and then and they did it with a smile. Lovely to see and thank you!

Earlier hotel,
1. The hotel does not have a toothbrush comb, even a mouthwash cup, a bathtub but no bathtub plug.
2. Breakfast is 4 kinds, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, chips/spring, sausage, fruit with watermelon apple.
3. The price is relatively cheap (relative to other hotels), in the middle of 2 subway stations, one of the shopping centers is very close to 900m, about 10 minutes walk.

Upon arrival we received a room facing the main street. We could not sleep well because of the noise of the cars, but the next day the room was replaced with a quieter one. Thanks to the understanding staff. Everything was good, but the room's bathroom is old and needs maintenance and updating.

Anonymous UserI finally got to stay at the Pera Palace Hotel, a place I've longed to visit, and a century-old establishment. My anticipation stemmed from the fact that Agatha Christie, my favorite mystery novelist, completed her famous '****** on the Orient Express' here. Back in the day, I was obsessed with her detective stories, devouring almost every one translated into Chinese. Unfortunately, the room she stayed in is now a guest room and not open for tours. However, Room 101, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of Turkey, once resided, is open to the public as an exhibition hall for limited hours.
I booked rooms 102, 103, and 104, which are conveniently located next to 101, making it easy to visit, and also offering views of the Bosphorus Strait. The last three photos in the video are exhibits from the Atatürk Museum. The hotel's historic elevator, over a hundred years old, is still operational, but requires an attendant to operate it. During check-in, a staff member took us on a ride, and it felt like stepping back into the 1920s.
In essence, the Pera Palace Hotel is more than just a hotel; it's a living history museum. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves literature and history.
