Hotels With Pools in Gran Asuncion, Paraguay

Overview Marketed as a five-star establishment, this hotel falls significantly short of that standard, offering an experience more in line with a 3-star property at best. However, the excellent value for money creates a compelling proposition for budget-conscious travelers. Location The location truly stands out as exceptional (AAA), situated within a small shopping center which provides convenience but comes with notable drawbacks. Room Quality Linens: The towels are noticeably dated and in need of replacement Infrastructure: Air conditioning systems are subpar Noise Insulation: Virtually non-existent, particularly problematic given the hotel's location Noise Issues Upper Floors: Clearly audible gym classes from the shopping center First Floor: Additional disturbance from restaurant and bar equipment (mixers and other kitchen equipment) Overall: Inadequate soundproofing throughout the property Dining Experience Breakfast Quality: Decent but basic Beverages: Filtered coffee only (no espresso options or cappuccinos) Positives: Fresh fruit juices available Food Safety Concern: Cold cuts and cheeses are not properly refrigerated (not kept on ice or cooled), raising concerns in the hot climate Staff General Demeanor: Kind and courteous Responsiveness: Very attentive when directly engaged Breakfast Service: Staff frequently distracted by personal cell phones, creating an unprofessional impression Value Assessment Despite its five-star classification, this hotel delivers an experience more aligned with a good three-star establishment. However, the value for money is excellent, making it a worthwhile option for travelers who can tolerate the noted deficiencies. The combination of prime location and affordable pricing compensates somewhat for the shortcomings in amenities and service.

Some of my clothes are missing. I have one very expensive shirt two pairs of pants and one bikini bottom all missing for my room. Food is terrible here at least breakfast is terrible. If it costs extra don't bother eat somewhere else. All they do is stick your food in the microwave. Coffee wasn't hot omelette was disgusting with a ton of raw onions in it and some disgusting cheese. As for the pool it's in a great location but quite shallow and not heated. The room is barely okay it's not really a Hilton quality room. People that work in the restaurant are grossly incompetent. They serve rawish bacon and if you want something cooked to hotter they shove everything in the microwave. I would stay here again because of the location but lock your suitcase. I put stuff in the safe and I would imagine that would have been stolen had I not locked the outside of the safe with my own locks and chains. I've never had clothes stolen from a hotel before I asked to speak to the manager but the front desk was not helpful. I had to go to the mall to buy a new shirt. The nicest thing about this hotel is a lobby. I heard that the adjacent restaurant was very good but they had bankers hours. Who closes on a Sunday at a hotel after 5:00? I'll tell you who somebody who has an allergy to money

I am very happy with this hotel. I arrived in the city quite early so I asked if I could leave my luggage with them until check in time. They kindly agreed to this. All of the staff are excellent, professional and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. It was serviced every day I was there and towels were changed daily. There was a fridge in the room and the bottled water was restocked every day. There was also lots of room in the fridge for other drinks etc The breakfast was the best I have encountered on this South American trip. It included eggs, meats, cheese, bread, cakes, fruit juice, coffee and more I used their laundry service. I left it with them in the morning and everything was hanging up in my room when I returned in the late afternoon. The location was perfect, a short walk from many sights including the river, cathedral, Government Buildings and the Railway Museum. It's easy to get a Taxi, Uber or Bolt to any part of the city or beyond. It was about a 15 minute trip to the Coach Station. I would highly recommend this excellent Hotel. Thank you

It was nice that the hotel was located in the city center and I could walk to all the tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was friendly. The room condition was okay for staying except for the noise of the air conditioner.

Great location, with a grocery store conveniently nearby. The apartment is very cozy, clean, and comfortable. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The check-in process was easy, and the apartment was well-equipped with all the essentials. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A very good hotel with very good environmental services. The surrounding area is very safe. There is a large shopping mall every time you go out and turn left or right. There are many local specialty products. The supermarket is very large and very convenient. The main thing is safety. When you go out, turn left and there is a Shangri-La Chinese restaurant 300 meters away. The food is very good and the price is right.

Clean place ,,good staff ,close to shopping mall, kitchen ,laundry machine ,balcony for people ,who want to relax and possibly smoke a cigarette, building is almost new , considered good area in Asuncion ,rooftop services ,but I didn't try it and good for money

The location is very good. There is a shopping mall next door and another shopping mall just a few minutes walk away. There is a rooftop bar on the hotel's rooftop, with a great view and very reasonable prices.
