Beautiful hotel, the staff were very good and attentive. Just surprised they don’t have a laundry room in hotel for long term guests. Something that all hotel I know of have. I had to walk 1km twice to get my clothes washed.
The rooms was comfortable. Visited twice and on second time I got to use the newer suites and it was amazing.
It's an old hotel, so there are traces of an old resort hotel. The facilities are old, but the interior is nice. There is a hot spring on the premises, which guests can use. There are no shops nearby, so we ate at the restaurant in the hot spring facility. It's inconvenient if you don't have a car, but you can get there by bus from Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. You can also get to the Fukaya Hanazono outlet by bus, so it's a good place to enjoy hot springs and shopping relatively close to the city center.
