We arrived at the hotel before 1300 and the room was not ready. The lady at the counter then offered us a free upgrade and free access to the executive lounge for happy hours. Amazing. The room is a standard hotel room with a king sized bed. The TV only has 10 local channels and none of them is English channel. The bathroom is a big plus and it comes with all basic items (comb, brush, shaver, etc). It has a shower area and a bathtub area. Quite spacious for this kind of standard hotel room. We were at 19/F and the view was also great! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! This time, my husband, our child, and I came to Chimelong. We originally booked a queen bed room package at the Spaceship Hotel, but when we checked in, the front desk attendant offered us a complimentary upgrade to a Star Family Room, complete with welcome fruit. We were absolutely thrilled with this! 👍 The room was clean and tidy, with a small bedroom featuring a single bed, and outside, a large 2m x 2.2m queen bed. There was also a small tent. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was not cramped. It came equipped with a children's toilet seat and a step stool, and the children's toiletries were very comprehensive. The Sailor Buffet restaurant was huge, and the food selection was incredibly rich. The millet porridge and white porridge, which my child loves, were cooked thick and hearty, perfect for filling them up! 👍🏻 For adults, there were noodles, rice, wontons, various meats, and salads – everything you could want, and it all tasted fantastic! 👍🏻 The staff were very enthusiastic and charming, and they even gave us many small gifts: fridge magnets, puzzle boards, and badges! My child was so happy. In terms of activities: The main highlight for us was seeing four orcas in the Spaceship Park, one of which was a newborn baby cuddling next to its mother, with the father orca protecting them nearby! We also saw giant sea turtles, beluga whales, hammerhead sharks, great white sharks, gray whales, and white dolphins (there were so many, I might have forgotten which park we saw which in). At Ocean Kingdom, we saw the legendary whale sharks – they are super massive, and their white spots are their trademark. We also saw polar bears, arctic foxes, arctic wolves, Antarctic penguins, and emperor penguins. The emperor penguins are indeed much larger than other penguins. Ocean Kingdom also has many rides, like roller coasters, carousels, and flying chairs. There were so many that we were too tired to ride them all. The Ocean Kingdom park is quite spread out, so I recommend dedicating a full day to it. We spent most of the morning watching the Kaka Tiger show. There are tons of facilities at the Spaceship Hotel. We watched the Bermuda movie and went on the deep-sea submarine ride, both of which were excellent and definitely worth experiencing. Since Bermuda is an ocean area, when waves crashed, a mist sprayed on us, but we didn't get too wet, and there was a breeze. The experience was truly stunning. Overall, I highly recommend bringing young children here. I don't suggest a three-day, two-night trip; it can be a bit tiring and rushed. Four days and three nights would be perfect, as there's so much to do at the Spaceship Hotel, and it's all indoors, so you don't have to deal with the heat. Ocean Kingdom's attractions are outdoors, and pushing a stroller around all the different exhibits can be exhausting. I'd say one day for Ocean Kingdom, and the rest of the time for the Spaceship Park and the Kaka Tiger children's theater! Special note: Even in March, Zhuhai was already very hot, so remember to pack short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and long skirts for summer wear. However, definitely bring some thicker long-sleeved clothes, because the animal exhibits, especially at Ocean Kingdom, are freezing cold – they'll chill you to the bone! 😄 Also, make sure to bring sunscreen and a sun hat; it gets really hot.

Facilities: Pretty good, quite new. Hygiene: Excellent, this hotel is incredibly clean, truly impressed me. Great value, and it's a chain hotel. Next time I'm in Chaozhou, I'll definitely stay here again. The service is also very good. Environment: Right next to Kaiyuan Temple. The location is perfect. Downstairs, there are tons of street food stalls. Service: The service is also very good. Highly, highly recommended, mainly because of the excellent hygiene. The room wasn't damp either. I particularly love this simple white decor style.

Stayed at this hotel for two days while visiting Foshan, and the service was excellent. The concierge was very enthusiastic. The front desk is on the 11th floor, and the Le Bar is particularly noteworthy – it's really good. There's a spa on the 15th floor, a gym on the 16th, and even a small kids' play area. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. I loved that the bathtub and shower were separate; it felt very refreshing, and being able to take a relaxing bath was a real plus. Breakfast on the 58th floor offered a fresh and abundant selection of food. Jingjing provided exceptionally warm service and was very kind to both my family and my children. This stay was a perfect experience, highly recommended!

Traveling in late March, it wasn't peak season yet, but there seemed to be quite a few tourists. Our flight arrived early, so we got to the hotel at 10:30 AM. Our room wasn't quite ready, so we added the front desk on WeChat, left our luggage, and went out for a stroll. At noon, we received a WeChat message informing us the room was ready. Their proactive service was impressive. We booked a Superior River View Room and were upgraded to a Deluxe River View Room with a bathtub, which was a blessing for someone needing a good soak to wash away fatigue. We were given a room on the highest floor, the 40th. Although it wasn't a river view overlooking Guangji Bridge, it was still a river view! We could also see the Phoenix Pagoda, one of the 'Eight Sights of Chaozhou,' which unexpectedly added another spot to our must-visit list. How's that for a happy accident? The room also had thoughtful recommendations for local attractions. The room layout was sensible, facilities were complete, and cleanliness was good. The staff were all very enthusiastic. Overall, it was quite good. The hotel itself doesn't have a garden or similar amenities, but it's just across the road from the Han River, which is nice for a walk. It's a bit of a distance from the attractions in the ancient city, but luckily the city isn't that big, and getting a taxi in the off-season is very convenient. If you prefer a quieter environment, I'd recommend staying here. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a decent variety, especially breakfast, which included Western options alongside many local specialties. Chee cheong fun, beef balls, 'guo' (local snacks), and congee with fresh ingredients were all available at the hotel, making for a very reassuring dining experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. It was great value for money!

Staying at the Wyndham Zhaoqing Seven Star Lake was an amazing experience! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking. The service from Felix and Amy was attentive and thoughtful, and the facilities were comprehensive. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit the Seven Star Crags scenic area. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Zhaoqing. Highly recommend!

Choosing to stay at the Four Seasons Guangzhou on Chinese New Year's Eve was absolutely the right decision! 🎉 The front desk is on the 70th floor. A lovely front desk attendant, upon learning we were visiting Guangzhou with our child specifically for New Year's, enthusiastically upgraded us to a Guangzhou Tower view room! Our room was on the 87th floor, and the moment we opened the door, we were truly amazed—the Canton Tower seemed almost within reach outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, and the entire dazzling night view of Zhujiang New Town was laid out before us. It was incredibly impressive. The room layout was excellent, and the space was very generous. Our child had a blast playing hide-and-seek. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were of high quality. Breakfast was, as always, up to Four Seasons standards—truly excellent. While the variety wasn't exceptionally vast, the quality was outstanding! On the morning of the first day of the New Year, the hotel even arranged dragon and lion dances on every floor, wishing every guest good fortune. In the lobby, there was also a master calligrapher writing Spring Festival couplets and 'Fu' characters, which our child thoroughly enjoyed participating in. Check-out was also very smooth, handled by a very enthusiastic staff member. Thumbs up!

“The best hotel in Zhanjiang” My room is sea view suite 1316 with club accessed pass where you can enjoy free dinner and drink 18.00-20.00 and I stayed here for 5 days for work. The location is great just next to the beach and there is shopping mall where you can find something to eat and it takes only 7 mins by walk. The room is very spacious and provide everything you need during your stay, fridge, big bathtub with sea view, robes, comb, dryer, salt bath, mouthwash, etc Breakfast is also a competitive advantage as it offers a variety of choice (most of them are Chinese food) since early morning until 10.30. Staff is very helpful and the front desk can speak English. The lobby is always crowded and busy because there’s seminar / wedding event hosted here almost everyday. Facilities of the hotel are great especially gyms and children’s room. The only negative side is cleanliness. My shower room still got some hairfall on the ground after cleaning but the overall is ok. I would recommend this hotel and will visit them again.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a shopping mall, with direct access. It's incredibly handy. You can park in the underground garage or in the outdoor lot. In the summer, they were very thoughtful to let us know that the parking on the second floor had more space than the basement, and they even pointed out the EV charging stations (though with so many cars, you might still have to wait). Overall, it's pretty good.

My recent stay at InterContinental Hotels ZHUHAI was nothing short of excellent. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable and luxurious experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with all aspects of my stay. The only slight disappointment was that the swimming pool had not yet opened, but this was quickly overshadowed by the exceptional service I received from the Guest Relations team. In particular, Irene deserves special recognition. She was attentive, considerate, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. From the moment we interacted, she made me feel valued as a guest, anticipating my needs and ensuring everything was handled seamlessly. Irene arranged a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea-view room, which made my stay even more memorable. She also surprised me with a birthday cake, a gesture that was both thoughtful and heartwarming. Her professionalism combined with her personal touch truly elevated the entire experience, turning what could have been just a pleasant stay into something unforgettable. Thanks to Irene’s dedication and the hotel’s high standards, I left with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return. InterContinental Hotels ZHUHAI exemplifies true hospitality, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhuhai.

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

GGuest UserHere's my breakdown of the good, the average, and the bad: **The Good:** The elevators are incredibly fast, much quicker than at the Four Seasons. The shrimp dumplings at breakfast were delicious. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, even neatly folding my clothes and arranging my cosmetics. I can understand why check-in is around 4 PM, given how meticulous the cleaning is. **The Average:** The service wasn't as bad as some other guests described; it met the standards I'd expect for this price point. Bellhops were available to assist with luggage at both check-in and check-out. However, that's where it ended. The concierge at the entrance didn't offer a greeting, and greetings in the hallway were barely audible. When I stayed at the Conrad Xiamen and the Waldorf Astoria, they always provided a nightly dessert service. **The Bad:** What truly angered me was the security guard checking people in the elevator. As a solo traveler, it's easy to get disoriented by the winding corridors. When I asked for directions, he immediately demanded to see my room card. He couldn't even swipe it himself and had to ask the front desk to do it. After all that, there wasn't a single apology. Is it acceptable to treat solo travelers like this? Secondly, the room only had one sink, and it wasn't even in the bathroom. I had to walk out of my way just to wash my hands. Also, to drain the sink, you have to pull a lever underneath, and there were no instructions for this. The room's perceived size is far less than 50 square meters because the entrance partition significantly reduces the visual space. I stayed here after a visit to the Four Seasons, and for the same price, you can get a scenic room over 60 square meters there. Even their 2014 rooms have fully automatic toilets, while this place still has a semi-automatic one that requires manual flushing. I'm speechless.

CChendashuaige0321I came here due to its reputation and was utterly captivated by this place's style and quality. Even though it's been open for a while, it still exudes an air of understated luxury, perfectly embodying what it means to be timeless and enduring. This experience is truly a rare find. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped by a sense of refinement and opulence. There's no deliberate ostentation, but rather a subtle, sophisticated elegance. Every fixture, every detail has been meticulously crafted, with carefully selected materials and graceful lines. It's a blend of vintage and luxury, imbued with a profound sense of history that comes with age, as if every corner holds a story from time past – quiet yet undeniably grand. What's most surprising is that even after years of operation, it's maintained as if it were brand new. The walls, soft furnishings, and facilities are all impeccably preserved, showing no signs of wear or age. The cleanliness and quality are consistently top-notch. You can clearly feel the dedication and passion of the owners, who have transformed the marks of time into a unique charm rather than flaws of old age. It possesses both the graceful dignity of old-school luxury and the refined state of something completely new. These two qualities merge perfectly, offering a warmth and depth that new places lack, and an exquisite refinement that old places often miss. Being here, you can feel the historical ambiance shaped by time, while also enjoying the ultimate in luxurious comfort. The service throughout is attentive and thoughtful, perfectly matching the high-end tone of the place – not overly intrusive, but just right. Whether you're relaxing for a short while or immersing yourself in the experience, it's incredibly comforting. This beauty, which remains radiant through the years, is truly unforgettable. It's definitely a treasure worth revisiting again and again, having truly perfected the art of blending luxury with a sense of history.

KKongzhongfeibendeduankuThis hotel is really close to my company in Guangzhou, so I've been staying here a lot recently. I really like the unique corridor design, and the breakfast is great – a good variety and quite filling. A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 11th floor on the 28th. She found my ID card holder that I'd lost in the hallway and returned it to me. While it wasn't valuable, it saved me a lot of hassle! It immediately made me feel a real connection to the hotel.

GGuest UserWe specifically chose this newer Marriott for our family trip with kids. The facilities are indeed quite new, and the room is spacious. Our sea-view room offered a direct view of Zhuhai Fisher Girl. The gym facilities are particularly noteworthy, with precise equipment for various muscle groups, such as the rowing machine for back exercises and the pec deck for chest and shoulder workouts, which are rarely found in typical hotel gyms. The outdoor pool is also fantastic. The only minor drawback is that there are no showers on the 5th floor where the gym is located, so you have to go to the 6th floor to shower after your workout. We didn't go out one morning and encountered Auntie Meng on the 21st floor, who was incredibly helpful. Her service during the Chinese New Year period was very warm and thoughtful, making us feel thoroughly looked after. To be frank, breakfast was just average, with not many varieties. What really brought down the experience was that the breakfast restaurant didn't dissuade or refuse service to guests wearing room slippers. While most guests weren't wearing slippers, these few slipper-wearing individuals instantly lowered the hotel's standard, making it feel less like a five-star hotel. I urge the hotel to pay special attention to this; details determine quality. As we were leaving, we caught the hotel's lion dance performance to welcome the God of Wealth, which was a nice touch of good fortune and prosperity! Overall, if it weren't for the slipper incident, my review would have been quite positive.

GGuest UserWe chose Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel for our vacation this time, out of several hotels in the area, and the overall experience was pretty good. The hotel's location is excellent, close to Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park, and the shuttle bus service makes getting around convenient, which is a lifesaver when traveling with kids. The lobby is spacious and bright, with a subtle, pleasant aroma. Self check-in was very quick, and the concierge was friendly and helpful with luggage storage. The room was generously sized with great natural light, and the balcony offered expansive views. The bedding was clean and soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a sound night's sleep. They provided a full set of children's amenities, including small slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries, which made the kids happy. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the shower pressure was stable, hot water was plentiful, and the toiletries smelled nice too. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive; the kids had a blast at the water park pool, and the gym had enough equipment. There's plenty of free parking, which adds to the great value for money. The buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious food. Overall, the service was excellent, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

SShangguanwanqingOur family trip was pretty good overall. The environment and hygiene were great! 👍 We stayed in a family room and arranged for airport pickup in advance. Even though there was a small hiccup in the middle, the overall experience was still good, from the front desk reception to the pickup driver, everyone was nice! 👍 The room was quite spacious, and we had to walk a fair bit to get around. After checking in, my husband, son, and I went to a local food stall for our first meal. Guangzhou hotels often have beautiful orange trees right outside, which is a lovely touch.

BBaobeichengerThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The facilities are excellent; they have a pool and a gym, which I used during my stay and found to be very good. The breakfast was also quite nice. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center and main attractions. However, a taxi ride usually gets you there within half an hour. JJini9812The hotel staff were very friendly and upgraded our room. It had a kitchenette with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, and sink, though there were no pots or pans provided. The bedding was quite comfortable. It was a twin room with beds over 1.3 meters wide, which is convenient for families with children, allowing for a good night's rest. The window overlooked Guangzhou Baiyun Children's Park, which was very refreshing in spring with all the flowers. Capitamall is just across the park. On the first floor, there's a pantry with a coffee machine and teabags for self-service. Finally, it's close to the metro, which is convenient, but the nearest metro exit only has an escalator going up. Free flow of coffee, convenient transportation, close to the park.
