While the rooms and facilities are overall good enough to provide a comfortable stay, it is worth noting that the south tower is showing its age a bit more than the newer north tower. For leisure, guests can enjoy casual fun at the small heated pool and hot tub on-site. When it comes to pricing, visitors should anticipate extra costs at checkout; the $37 CAD gated self-parking fee combined with resort charges adds up to an additional $90 CAD or so. Despite these extra fees, the property ultimately delivers great value for money. The experience is further elevated by Whistler itself, which serves as a spectacular, scenic destination—particularly on a sunny day. Purchasing an Alpine ticket is highly recommended, as it seamlessly covers the uphill gondola, the famous Peak 2 Peak gondola, and the chairlift to the very top, capping off a wonderful mountain getaway.

We had a great stay here! The building itself is older, but it’s very obvious that the hotel has been newly renovated. Everything felt clean and fresh , the room was spacious, the furniture looked brand new, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights for our family was the game room, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The amenities were also excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. A huge bonus was the free EV charging, which made our trip even more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

My family of four with children has some business to do in Campbell River, so there are some inconveniences with the one-day reservation facility, but overall it's good.

Nice property. Very ridge on early and late check-in and check out. Check on time is 1:00 and it is an extra $50 to check in early. Check-out time is 11:00 and can be extended to noon without a fee but beyond that it is $50. Breakfast is a little bit light with no hot foods. Great pool and water slide along with a hot tub. I had a suite, and room size was good, almost a mini condominium.

Review hotel We recently stayed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver and had a great experience. The hotel's location is very convenient, situated right in the downtown Vancouver. It made exploring the city and accessing public transportation very easy. Our room was spacious, big space, clean, and well-appointed with a kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea. The staff at Century Plaza were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any requests, which enhanced our stay even further. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant C|Prime, which served delicious Italian meals with a good variety of options. Overall, our stay at Century Plaza Hotel was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to the city!

Pros: 1. The hotel's location right by the Inner Harbour is convenient for visiting several nearby attractions. 2. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and gave us detailed information about the hotel's entertainment and dining facilities, as well as local sights. Knowing we were driving, they also informed us about parking (even though there's a charge). 3. The beds were comfortable. Cons: 1. Due to the hotel's age, the bathroom only has a bathtub, no separate shower. They've installed two glass panels to act as a splash guard, but there's a large gap between them, which means shower water still wets the entire bathroom floor. 2. The windows in the rooms facing the street aren't double-glazed, so the noise from passing vehicles at night is very loud. At over 4000 a night, the value for money is extremely low.

Stayed at the former Trump Tower in Vancouver. The location is super convenient for getting around, very close to downtown, and not a far walk to Stanley Park either! During my stay, the breakfast area was under renovation, so all meals were delivered via room service. The fully automated facilities in the room were fantastic. Overall, a really great experience!

I visited because my family lives in Vancouver. I was really worried because the reviews were so bad, but it was better than I expected. The hotel staff spoke Korean, which was nice, and they were considerate enough to make the place stair-free, which was convenient. But... the heater... it's really noisy. ㅠㅠㅠ And if it's off, it's cold... and if it's on, it's dry. Hahaha. Still, it was better than the reviews said. It wasn't cramped for two people, which was nice!

Right by the lake in the city center, the scenery is good and convenient. The facilities are average and relatively old. Dinner is in the hotel restaurant, very cheap. The lakeside bar must be booked in advance, and there is no place a little later. Breakfast must be spit, buffet price is high, coffee tea is another money, a total of five or six things (barely food), unpalatable almost equal to murder, knife pressure neck will not eat a second time.

Prior to our stay, we had informed the hotel of our late arrival outside the usual check-in hours and included some questions regarding Fairmont Gold services and benefits. Unfortunately, our follow-up email was overlooked, which led to some miscommunication during check-in. However, the customer recovery service was truly top-notch. The team handled everything professionally, responded swiftly, and resolved the issue efficiently — a level of service that truly reflects the standards we expect from a premium Fairmont Gold experience. We stayed one night in Fairmont Gold, and it was an absolute dream stay, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The views were perfect, and the Gold team’s service was exceptional. What impressed us even more was the Manager’s follow-through. He personally took the initiative to look into what had led to the miscommunication and came to apologise to us later in the day. During our stay, one of us was also feeling unwell, and when we happened to meet him in the lobby, he remembered us from our earlier interaction and kindly offered to assist by arranging some medicine for us. These thoughtful gestures truly reflected the genuine care and attentiveness of the team. Thank you, Fairmont, for turning what started as a small hiccup into a memorable stay. The premium paid for the Fairmont Gold experience was truly worth every penny, and we sincerely appreciate the hospitality. We look forward to returning again.
