The hotel is in a fabulous location, just a few minutes from both the town and the seafront. The check in process was simple and completed online before we arrived. Parking is chargeable and it is was tricky to find a space close to hotel without driving around a few times. There are several other parking options at varying costs and distances from the hotel. The room was clean and warm and had tea making facilities. The bathroom was clean, if dated but had a bath and a shower. The bed was 2 singles pushed together and there was a ridge in the middle but we slept well

Our staying at the Witching Post Inn could have not been better. Our room was spacious and very confortable. And the place has a lot of personality and history. If you want to know the roots of this place you can speak to the landlord, Pete. But more important Pete makes you feel at home, as you are part of the family. The stories, the jokes and the environment in the pub is so cosy that makes you feel you are between friends. And don't look anywhere else for food and drinks. We had dinner in here during the Parmo night, and the food was fantastic, one of the best we had in the area. And this includes the beer and gins. Also, we vouch for the breakfast, the full breakfast is delicious and we couldn't get enough of it. If you are staying the area, please do yourself a favor and stay at the Witching Post Inn. I am glad we chose this place for our staying, and a big thanks to Pete and all the staff for the lovely and welcoming staying

I as a solo elderly traveller was treated like Family and could not fault the friendliness and hospitality. Attention to every need was met above and beyond the service expected. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay there. Very comfortable stay and the food was excellent .

I will absolutely recommend all my friends to choose the Victoria when they visit Malham because I cannot tell any negative about the inn. We had a warm welcome and very delicate luggage storage, and lovely farewell as well. Great thanks to every staff members we have met there!

邂逅阿斯科特酒店，感受家一般的温暖與美好 這次約克之行，最驚喜的發現莫過於入住了阿斯科特酒店！酒店坐落在靜謐的居民區，遠離城市喧囂，踏入這片區域，便能感受到濃濃的生活氣息。街道兩旁是整齊的英式小屋，房前屋後點綴着盛開的鮮花，漫步其中，彷彿置身於一幅恬靜的田園畫卷。 辦理入住時，見到了80歲的房東老太太，她笑容和藹，眼神中滿是親切與熱情。一邊辦理手續，一邊細緻地向我介紹約克附近的景點，從宏偉的約克大教堂到充滿歷史韻味的肉鋪街，她如數家珍，還貼心地告知我如何乘坐公共交通、哪些地方適合拍照打卡。聽着她的講述，我對接下來的行程充滿期待。 房間更是讓人眼前一亮，佈置温馨雅緻，處處彰顯着用心。最讓我驚喜的是那張柔軟的床，躺上去彷彿陷入雲朵之中，奔波一天的疲憊瞬間消散。床頭還備有精緻的小點心和香濃的咖啡，玩累了回到房間，吃上一塊點心，喝上一口咖啡，幸福感爆棚！ 早餐環節堪稱一絕！不同於一般酒店的自助形式，這裏採用現點方式，品類豐富得讓人挑花眼。經典的英式早餐，每一道都精緻可口。食材新鮮，烹飪用心，味道絕佳，為開啟元氣滿滿的一天提供了充足能量。 這次入住體驗太棒了！阿斯科特酒店，不僅是一個落腳之處，更讓我感受到了家的温暖和當地的熱情。強烈推薦給每一位來約克的朋友！

Nice village pub / old coaching inn with rooms. Very comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Nice evening  food and excellent breakfast. Decent range of beers on tap.

A single hostel for one person. There is a toilet and a washstand in the house, but there is no bathroom. The public bathroom is clean and has a lot of privacy. However, the staff helped me clean up a room in advance and let me check in early. There is no supermarket nearby. The train station is 25 minutes away. The garden in the hotel is very beautiful. I feel good after opening the window in the morning. Room with 5 single beds

Great stay with friendly staff and good food. Would definitely return there if in the area.

Lovely location freindly and helpful staff

The room was on the third floor, which might be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. It wasn't huge but was clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi signal wasn't great; videos would buffer a few times, but sending and receiving emails was fine. It's very close to the town's scenic spots. Of course, the town is quite small, so it seems unnecessary to stay more than one night.
