Pet Friendly Hotels in Bolivar, Colombia

Absolutely fantastic. This is a quiet small resort with maybe 14 rooms. 1.5 hours from Cartagena City. A bit of a harrowing drive, but definitely worth the trip. Once you get in through the doors, it’s beautiful & peaceful. Balinese type style. Not a five-star resort but they do a really nice job. Very well staffed so you have somebody to help you if you need anything. Very quiet. No telephones, no tv’s in room. Rooms are spacious, private, very comfortable. Two small beaches on either side of the main area. All open-air reception, Restaurant. One restaurant iwth 2 levels. Food was actually terrific. Best food we had in Colombia. We were there for three nights and absolutely loved it. lots of daytrippers, people coming in from Cartagena on boat to spend the day at the resort. Was nice. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Lordy who took such nice care of our family. Special place.

Staying here was truly amazing, from the hospitality to the comfort of the room, i felt at home, safe and happy. The food offered was delicious, i recommend the pasta with the shrimp. The waters in front and back offer a beautiful view of the sea and sky. I felt blessed to be able to enjoy this island and meet the community and the beautiful diversity nature had to offer. Swimming in front was so fun, and all the activities are a must! (Playa libre, oceonario, planktons..) Also, it’s beautiful to see the stars at night on the deck. I recommend! Just make sure you bring insects repellent and water shoes. Thanks to all the staff! ❤️

Good location in South Bocagrande. Plenty of places to eat and a small mall across the road. Check in and out was smooth. Room was a good size with plenty of pillows and a comfortable bed. Has a minibar fridge and safety box. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Breakfast was tasty with a decent variety. Pool area is well maintained and shaded. Would recommend.

me queda muy feliz de mi alojamiento en el hotel Baluarte, los todos personal del hotel fueron super amable, el desayuno estaba muy sabroso, Si tenía alguna pregunta el personal del hotel siempre me ayudó con consejos, Este es lugar seguro absolutamente. Me aloje en hotel durante dos semanas y las dos semanas se quedan sin un solo incidente. Estoy lleno de agradecimiento a personal el hotel, y recomiendo hotel baluarte a todos.

Decent room. Location is in the heart of the wall city. Bars , restaurants, markets. Everything you need is right outside.

La ubicacion super buena, a pasos de la torre del reloj, todo en el centro historico queda a menos de 10 minutos caminando, getsemani tambien super cerca, todo muy caminable, bocagrande esta a menos de 10 minutos en auto y el aeropuerto a 20 minutos en auto… la habitacion como tal, espaciosa, tiene todo lo que uno necesita para una estancia corta, eso si no tiene ventilacion, no tiene balcon ni ventana entonces igual es muy cerrado, pero el aire acondicionado funciona bien, en el piso 5 hay un espejo de agua (no es piscina), hay solo un ascensor pero es rapido… en recepcion hay una chica que tiene tours disponibles y baño por si llegan antes de la hora de check in tambien pueden dejar las pertenencias… para el check out decidimos utilizar el servicio de transporte hacia el aeropuerto que tienen, nos llevamos un poco de mala experiencia, para empezar no fue puntual a la hora acordada y luego al llegar al aeropuerto el chofer empezo a pedir un valor de dinero mas elevado a lo acordado, de resto todo bien en la estadia

Hotel service is general, the garden is very beautiful, the room is very good, close to the attractions, only the surrounding road is more difficult to walk, very close to the river, breakfast is also very good!
