This is, without a doubt, the best value-for-money hotel in Taxkorgan. I stayed here twice last year, and each time, the front desk lady upgraded me to an oxygen-enriched room before check-in, which I really appreciated. This time, I recommended the hotel to a friend, and they were very happy, jokingly saying they'd send me a banner of appreciation. Even though I wasn't there myself, the front desk lady still proactively contacted me to upgrade my friend's room, which was truly touching. I don't know her name since I wasn't there, but it's okay, I'll go back at the end of September to thank her in person. Also, the breakfast is excellent, with both Western and Chinese options, so you don't have to queue up on the street for food. During peak tourist season, there are many similar hotels, but besides the hardware, what really satisfies guests is the service. The service at Meihua is simply outstanding, absolutely first-class. It's a hotel definitely worth staying at, highly recommended!

The hotel is very close to the Kalajun entrance, about a 5-kilometer drive. Follow the navigation; the gravel road is narrow but don't hesitate. The moment you see the room, all your fatigue will melt away. The shower room and separate wet/dry bathroom are clean and hygienic, completely free from the inconveniences of staying in a tent camp. Lying on the bed, pull open the 360-degree curtains, and the surrounding scenery fills your view. Open the electric curtain on the dome, and you can see the sky. If you still have energy, before sunset, go for a one or two-hour horseback ride to enjoy the grassland sunset—it's incredibly pleasant. The hotel's service is very thoughtful and meticulous, and it has its own restaurant where you can order dinner, which tastes pretty good. Breakfast is a buffet and quite rich. The highlight, though, is the starry sky after dusk, which truly cures everything. To avoid light pollution, the hotel thoughtfully turns off the ambient lights. In the morning, open the curtains and you can watch the sunrise. This is a hotel that constantly provides pleasant surprises.

Zhaosu Muxueju ｜ Treasure B&B for healing the journey, I will choose here next time I come ✨ Usually when booking a homestay online, there will always be some embarrassment in my heart, worried that the real scene and the pictures and texts do not match, and disappointed by stepping on thunder. But this time, the Mu Xueju, who stayed in Zhaosu, completely subverted my inherent impression, adding warmth and surprise to our trip to Yili. We drove all the way from Yining to Zhaosu, and the sun was hot and tired in the afternoon. Fortunately, the little girl at the front desk was very gentle and enthusiastic, and she checked in for us intimately and quickly. We booked a 180-degree view room at the end of the homestay. The view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides is really amazing! Nestled on the soft white sofa in the living room, you can quietly enjoy the flowing clouds and the distant mountains and clear mountains. The healing scenery of Zhaosu is panoramic, and the atmosphere is directly full. The homestay has been open for two years, but the room facilities are very clean and tidy, and there are almost no traces of use. The real scene is exactly the same as the platform picture, and there is no gap, which makes people particularly comfortable. Before departure, I added the store's WeChat consultation activities in advance, and responded promptly, patiently and meticulously throughout the process, and thought about everything for the sake of the guests. For the homestay, clean and high-quality hardware is the foundation. This kind of intimate service is the most moving temperature. There is also a small promotion of the staff, and we have given a lot of practical suggestions for our itinerary. It is sincere and enthusiastic, especially reliable. During our stay, we ate lunch and dinner here, and it was especially convenient to support online applet orders. From the room, the meal has been prepared intimately, and it takes no time to wait. The local beef tastes great, fresh and fragrant, and the authentic taste is endless. At the same time, I experienced the self-service laundry service in the store, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and the detailed experience is full. There are also two cute dogs in the store every day and Harley, who have a gentle personality and are not afraid of life. Every night, they walk back to the room, and they will escort us all the way, watching two small cockroaches run wildly in the grassland, spread joy and roll, comfortable and healing, just watching the mood become soft. Most special is that the homestay also arranged a rich Kazakh folk experience. We personally experienced milking, separating cream, hand-made snoring, and finally shared the cakes made by ourselves with everyone, immersed in local folk culture, and the journey became particularly meaningful. We stayed here for two nights, and went back and forth to the Xiata Scenic Area the next day. After watching the performance of the Tianma Yuhe, it was already ten o'clock in the evening. I thought that returning to Shanghai late at night would be a simple reception. I didn't expect the staff to take the initiative to greet the play experience. A gentle care immediately dispersed the fatigue of the journey. It is really rare to be able to make the service meticulous and put the guests in their hearts. Before leaving, the staff also specially recommended a niche route for us with beautiful scenery and sparse traffic, so that we can arrive at Joan Kushtai with peace of mind along the way with the beautiful scenery of the grassland. After the immersive experience throughout the whole process, I am full of joy and touch. If you come to Zhaosu next time, Mu Xueju must be our best choice! I really recommend it to friends who come to Zhaosu to travel, it is worth going, it is worth staying repeatedly 💛

The environment is absolutely fantastic! It's a riverside campsite, and you can tell it's been thoughtfully designed, with clever touches everywhere. We unfortunately spent too much time at the attractions and arrived quite late. The campsite offers a bonfire, BBQ, and Uighur girls dancing. On the way to the river, there's also a splash pad for kids, so we really should have arrived earlier. The only minor thing is the gravel path at the entrance, which seems intentionally designed. You can contact the camp beforehand to have staff help with your luggage, as it's a bit difficult to drag suitcases yourself. Also, the soundproofing in the tents isn't the best, but that's to be expected when choosing a campsite. Overall, it's a great camp, and the breakfast selection is very rich. You can also request an oxygen machine.

It's rare to find a decent breakfast in Xinjiang, but this hotel has a great selection, served from 8 AM to 10 AM. The room features fully smart appliances. What I loved most was the washing machine and the constant-temperature mineral water, which was super convenient for mixing milk. Nalat Grassland is quite big, and the hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the scenic area's main gate, which was very convenient as I was traveling with a child. We stayed for two nights.

I had such a wonderful stay here and truly want to thank all of the staff for making my trip so special. First of all, the hospitality was beyond amazing. As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese at all, I was honestly a little nervous at first. However, every staff member tried their best to help and welcome me warmly, which touched me deeply. I would especially like to thank a staff member named Yi. She was the only person who could communicate with me fluently in English, and she helped me with absolutely everything during my stay. Because of her kindness, I never once felt uncomfortable or isolated here despite the language barrier. I would honestly give her 10000/100! The accommodation itself was also excellent. The room was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to rest perfectly every night. Another thing I loved was the variety of activities offered here. Everything was amazing , horseback riding, delicious hot pot meals, and even professional photography sessions. It was my first time riding a horse, so I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but the staff took such good care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience. Most importantly, I was deeply impressed by the culture here. It felt so warm and heartfelt. I truly love your culture. At night, there was a campfire gathering where local staff sang songs and danced together. It was such a joyful and unforgettable experience for me. In conclusion, if I ever visit Xinjiang again, I will definitely come back and stay here. Thank you so much to every staff member for your hard work and kindness. My recent stay at the Silk Road Rendezvous B&B in Kashgar Old City completely overturned three of my preconceived notions about B&Bs in just a few days. Change 1: Re-evaluating B&Bs – More than just a place to sleep, it's about living your dream life. The moment I stepped into their private courtyard, the world instantly quieted down. Outside, there was the vibrant hustle and bustle of the thousand-year-old city, but inside the courtyard, it was a tranquil oasis where time seemed to stand still. Drinking tea and simply relaxing under the big tree, bathed in dappled light, I truly experienced a 'haven in the heart of the city.' This was exactly the Kashgar I'd dreamt of – the B&B itself was a destination. Change 2: Re-evaluating service managers – From 'call if you need anything' to 'being quietly accompanied and pampered.' Xiao Mu and Xiao Yue were warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. They even kindly accompanied us on tours of the old city, explaining its history, helping us book show tickets, assisting us in attending a Uyghur wedding, and teaching us Uyghur dances. Their constant care made us feel incredibly warm, surprised, and touched! Change 3: Re-evaluating accommodations within a scenic area – Who says vibrancy and tranquility can't coexist? I used to worry that B&Bs in scenic areas would be 'noisy, chaotic, and expensive.' But here, opening the door brings you into the vibrant daily life of the ancient city, while closing it envelops you in the serenity of my private courtyard. It turns out that even in the heart of a scenic area, you can find the blissful feeling of a secluded retreat. Finally, I want to extend a special thanks to the two managers, Xiao Mu and Xiao Yue. You transformed 'service' into genuine 'companionship.' One created comfort in the rooms, and the other planted warmth in our hearts. While the beautiful sights and delicious food of Kashgar might eventually fade from memory, your smiles will stay with me forever.

This hotel is located outside the Sayram Lake scenic area and appears to be newly opened, as the facilities are incredibly new and clean. The property is quite large, primarily offering two types of accommodations: RV-style 'space capsule' rooms and small cabins. We initially booked a space capsule RV, but the front desk upgraded us to a cabin, claiming it was larger with two separate rooms, two bathrooms, and a living area in between. While the cabin was new and tidy, personally, I felt the space capsule RV would have offered a more futuristic and modern feel. If you're driving, you can park at the hotel's front desk or drive closer to your unit. Our room was near the restaurant and coffee shop, and even after closing hours, there was minimal noise despite people passing by. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night. The dishes tasted good, but the wait was excessively long. For just a few simple dishes, we waited almost an hour. What's more, we had informed the restaurant of our dinner reservation right after check-in, so they should have had ample time to prepare. This long wait was simply unacceptable. While waiting, I also noticed other guests leaving due to the extended delays. We repeatedly urged the staff, but their helpless expressions made it hard to fully blame them. However, I truly hope the hotel improves this aspect, as it significantly detracts from the overall experience. We had planned to eat early and explore the surroundings, but by the time dinner was finally served an hour later, it was already late at night, making it impossible to enjoy the hotel's amenities. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast at the same location. There's a good selection, but even before breakfast officially ended, we saw most of the staff coming to get food boxes, eating the same breakfast as us. Although we were almost finished, when we went back for more, there was very little food left, which was disappointing. While I appreciate the hotel's good treatment of its employees, allowing them to share the same meal choices as guests, I suggest they have their breakfast after guests have finished. It feels a bit off to pay a relatively high price for accommodation and then have to share breakfast with staff before the service time is even over, especially given the hotel's higher pricing, which comes with higher expectations. The hotel's coffee shop has a strong design aesthetic and is perfect for Instagram. Unfortunately, the coffee prices were quite high, so we didn't make a purchase, simply taking some photos before leaving. However, if you have time, it would be a very comfortable place to relax for a while.

To be honest, the most annoying thing was how slow the bathroom drain was. After a shower, the entire bathroom would flood. I'm not sure if I was the only one who experienced this? Do people not shower at high altitudes? Another issue was the tent's lighting, which was ridiculous. There were 5 spotlights directly overhead and a faux oil lamp by the bed. I felt like none of the lights were actually usable. The spotlights were either all on or all off, and lying in bed, you'd be blinded. Now for the positives. The guesthouse's location was decent, facing the snow-capped mountains. Being far from the county town, the stargazing conditions were also pretty good. The service was fine. Breakfast was average. So, I only stayed one night.

After we encountered a bad experience with a desert glamping resort in Dunhuang, we were a bit cautious with Dune when we booked it. However, after I communicated with the manager in Dune via WeChat, I was more confident as he was very polite and helpful. He helped us to booked a transfer from Turpan Airport to Dune resort. As our flight arrived Turpan in the evening, it was late when we arrived at Dune. The manager and another staff came to the entrance of the driveway to welcome us and helped us with our luggage. They took us straight to our tent, and they upgraded us to a bigger tent, too. We woke up to this beautiful Kumtag Desert Sand dunes, right in front of our tent! It was so beautiful. As the off peak season started, we were the only guests there but the staff were serving us with delicious breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful! The manager and staff were very attentive to our requests. One of the staff has helped us to arrange a local guide/driver to take us to the Kumtag desert for an exciting ATV ride and sand sliding. We had a great time. We ended up hiring the same guide, a pleasant and calm Uygur young guy to take us for some sightseeing and dropped us back to Turpan. I would say to anyone who is looking for a real desert glamping, please come to Dune in Shahshan near Turpan instead of Dunhuang.
