This hotel is conveniently located about a 7-8 minute walk from Taksim Square, making it very easy to catch the metro and buses nearby. The old town alleys are bustling with various shops and restaurants, and there are convenient mini-supermarkets. The room itself is excellent, with good space and comfort. The hot shower works well, and amenities like coffee, tea bags, and bottled water are provided. There's also a mini-fridge for drinks, and the bedding is comfortable.

We had a family room , it was a great size , loads of room and plenty of storage. We arrived around 1am to check in. After a long travel day it was great to shower and sleep somewhere so spacious and clean so close to the airport for our early morning flight out of Istanbul. I recommend this hotel for its location and rooms.

the hotel overall is nice, quite near the airport, but the neighbourhood itself does not have anything interesting to offer. a nice choice if you want to spend the night in between flights. the cleanliness could be better, we saw dirt on the walls, curtains, floor etc. but the vibe is there!

Overall, the hotel made a rather pleasant impression. The positives: + nice room design + climate control + wifi was fine + the single bed was wide enough and comfortable + nice staff + you can get right to the hotel by bus H-6, the ride takes 25-30 minutes from the airport One huge downside: - There was rust and leakage under the sink in the bathroom. Before I noticed it, it had made a towel and a toilet paper roll (that were below it) completely wet.

Not a bad hotel for one night. There were some strange stains on the bed. The bathroom and toilet were a bit old, and the wall in the room needed repair. But if you're not picky and just looking for a hotel to sleep in, it's fine.

I really liked the hotel. The room was warm, which is the most important thing, and the bathroom was spacious. There's also a kettle. I got there on the H6 bus, which leaves from the 2nd person (terminal?) at the airport. The stop is Nargül Sokak, right by the hotel. I didn't get breakfast for myself because I don't like to eat early.

I had a fantastic experience at Melanj Airport Hotel. Omer and his team were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming—they truly made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a restful stop before or after a flight. The location is super convenient—just minutes from Istanbul Airport, making it ideal for a layover or early departure. If you’re looking for great service, cleanliness, and comfort near the airport, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Room was very nice for a stop over hotel. I didn't need cash for my 24 hour stay as I could Uber and the staff at hotel take orders via credit card for delivery from a local restaurant and there is also a vending machine that takes card in the lobby. Uber was £12 from the airport and took 20 minutes (had more luck booking one from the airport metro station than the terminal). If you factor the transfer price in, it's still a good deal as I got the stay for £23 with Trip.com

The gym's opening hours weren't long enough. There was nothing to eat for breakfast. It seemed like a vegetarian restaurant. Absolutely nothing to eat. My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Turkey was incredibly unpleasant. It wasn't because the room wasn't spacious enough – it was quite large. The problem was the terrible breakfast. For a five-star hotel, which charges a bit more than average for a five-star, the breakfast was awful. It felt like walking into a vegetarian restaurant. There wasn't a single piece of meat, no bacon, no salmon. No beef, steak, or chicken drumsticks either. Even if it were a Chinese restaurant, it lacked any meat dishes. It was all vegetarian, except for a few boiled eggs. Then there were scrambled eggs, tomato and scrambled eggs, and a red ham. This red ham was the star of the show at breakfast, appearing in all sorts of ways: bright red in the cold dishes, cooked red, and sliced with tomatoes. It showed up in three different forms, a total of five times. Eating that one type of red sausage made me question my sanity. Also, the gym wasn't open 24 hours. It was from 9 AM to 9 PM. People traveling for business to Turkey are already at client meetings by 9 AM. By the time you get back from entertaining clients, tired, you just want to rest. The hotel's overall hardware was good. However, the hallway leading to the elevators in Block B was extremely narrow. From the elevator exit to the window, it was less than a meter wide, making it feel very cramped and uncomfortable. The food tables were so high! You had to stand on tiptoes just to see what was in the dishes. Even in countries with taller people, I haven't seen restaurant tables this high, with shelves stacked one on top of the other for dishes and bread. You couldn't even grab the bread with the tongs. I have no idea who designed these tables. The staff in Turkey aren't that much taller than us Chinese, are they? It was very inconsiderate and impractical. Maybe the hotel was busy, but when I went down for breakfast around 7 AM, there were no seats available. Absolutely nowhere to sit. No one assigned seats; you just had to find one yourself. Occasionally, there'd be an empty table, but it wouldn't be cleaned. So I ended up eating standing at the central counter. A waiter impatiently told me to squeeze in at someone else's table. But it wasn't cleaned! How am I supposed to sit there if it's not cleaned? There really wasn't much choice for food. Only one type of red sausage – cold, cooked, all the same. And cherry tomatoes. I couldn't get full, let alone enjoy my meal. If they don't improve, I won't be coming back. I'm so disappointed.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Thank you, Double Tree Regards Akif

GGuest UserHighly recommend, better than expected! The lobby is grand and stylish, and the location is excellent, within walking distance to Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. The room facilities aren't modern, but they are well-maintained. The AC temperature control, shower water temperature, and pressure were all perfect. A special shout-out to Murat at the front desk for being polite and friendly; he managed to check us in without much delay (possibly due to it being the off-season). Every evening, the front desk would proactively call to ask if we needed any assistance or supplies, and when we requested more mineral water, housekeeping quickly delivered it. I also highly recommend including breakfast, otherwise, it's genuinely hard to find diverse breakfast options outside.

MM.M.TI have stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul before, in 2017 and 2018, and unfortunately my recent stay was very different from those previous experiences. The hotel itself has changed noticeably. The lobby used to feel much bigger, and now it feels smaller, with shops added that weren’t there before. While the hotel still offers good dining options—including Nobu, an Italian restaurant, and a well-known Turkish restaurant—Nobu in particular feels small compared to other locations worldwide. We stayed during the New Year and winter season, and the hotel felt lacking in festive spirit. The decorations were very minimal: mainly an outdoor Christmas tree and a YSL light tree inside, with only basic décor scattered around. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during the same period, it did not feel festive or atmospheric at all. If you are looking for a strong holiday or seasonal theme, this hotel may not meet that expectation. This is purely based on the overall look and feeling. Upon arrival, no welcome drinks were offered, which was surprising for a Ritz-Carlton. We noticed other guests receiving welcome drinks while we did not. The check-in area is quite small and not suitable for handling large families or groups. There is also no proper waiting area, except for two chairs near the entrance. At check-in, we were informed that our three rooms were on different floors (2, 3, and 10), which was shocking since we had requested connected rooms or at least rooms close to each other. The rooms themselves varied greatly: • The 2nd-floor room had a terrace but was not family-friendly at all. When exiting the elevator, the area felt very dark due to the wallpaper colors, which my children described as “creepy.” • The 3rd-floor room was slightly better, but the window faced a plant wall, making it feel like a basement room. • The 10th-floor room had a partial Bosphorus view and was by far the best room of the three. Because of these issues, I contacted Trip customer service, and I would like to sincerely thank Maxence Cui for the hard work, patience, and dedication shown while assisting us. Maxence truly tried everything possible to help us in a very stressful situation, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. I could see that the Ritz-Carlton management was actively involved in the discussion. Eventually, Mr. Mohammed, the hotel manager, stepped in and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. He made us feel welcome, encouraged us to stay, and offered to move the other two rooms to the same floor, which greatly improved our experience. Many thanks to him as well. After the room change, we were finally together as a family, with partial sea views and garden views. The room service food was excellent, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, this stay was not the Ritz-Carlton experience we are used to from other locations around the world. While the situation improved thanks to the efforts of both Maxence Cui and Mr. Mohammed, it still did not fully meet our expectations. It was okay, but not the memorable luxury experience we associate with the Ritz-Carlton brand.

GGuest UserUsually i don’t leave reviews but for this i have to istg. I’m really so satisfied with each thing at this hotel during my stay. Top notch cleanliness , location is okay like 10 mins walk to the Taksim centre though it’s situated amidst the local area. The receptionists, housekeepers, breakfast staff etc everyone’s been too kind and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is fab too. To be honest I am thinking about the drawbacks to write if any but there’s just nothing. But since it’s a very recent built that makes it sparkling clean so let’s see if the cleanliness is maintained once the hotel gets 5-10 yrs old. Overall FANTABULOUS STAY

RRitavladOverall, for the price, the room was decent. The staff were polite and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The room itself was tiny. On the downside: we were put on the ground floor and could hear people walking and talking all night. The sink was very small, making it impossible to wash up properly. The bathroom was a bit dirty; it didn't feel clean. There's a market nearby and cafes within walking distance.

MManu GuedesThe hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which makes it a practical option for an overnight stay. However, I would not recommend paying extra for breakfast, as the selection is quite limited. The first room we were given was not acceptable: the bed was poorly prepared, missing proper sheets or a quilt, and the room was dirty. We were moved to a second room, which was slightly better, but it was still clear that more attention is needed regarding floor cleanliness and general details. The air conditioning was difficult to operate, and the room took a long time to warm up. On a positive note, the reception staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, in terms of price and location near the airport, it is reasonable. For just one night, it is acceptable, but expectations should be kept modest.
