We are a family of 5 adults visiting Melaka for my mom's 96th birthday celebration with her family and friends living n Melaka. We had the family suite - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. *Reception lobby has an overwhelming smell that is disgusting.
*Bathrooms: the tiles in the bathroom are moldy and falling apart with makeshift patchu. Bath towels had a funny smell and had seen better days. We had no choice but to replace the while towels with the blue-striped pool towels.
* Kitchen - a skeleton setup with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Basic amenities like one would expect in a kitchen such as stovetop, dish washing liquid, kitchen
hand towels, crockery and utensils are missing. The microwave is filthy. We have to use the white hand towels that guests would normally use in the bathroom to dry our hands in the kitchen. We had to request room service to clean the filthy microwave, provide plates and utensils for us to eat out take-out food, along with dish washing liquid to wash our dirty dishes. Pictures speak a thousand words.
Hotel is connected to a Mall - Shore that is deserted. Foot traffic is at its all time low. Mall is dimly lit ... a HUGE contrast to AEON.
I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry.

Room is clean and good condition. Gym is good but swimming pool water is cloudy. Carpark is very safe and good. Good security with access card to lift.
Not near to shopping or food options. Too far to walk to jonker street, advise to grab which costs only RM6.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right outside are two major shopping malls, Heroes Square and Parkson Mall. Just across the road are St. Santiago's Old Fort and the ruins of St. Paul's Church. Jonker Street and the Dutch Square are only about a 10-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and dining options around the hotel. The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the doorman and front desk staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's highlights include an infinity pool, sauna, gym, and game room, so even if you're tired from sightseeing, you can easily spend a whole day relaxing at the hotel.

This hotel just opened this year, and the lobby is very grand and beautiful. The room is also comfortable and spacious 👍. The hotel is right by the sea. We stayed on a high floor with a balcony, and the morning view was stunning. The staff were also very helpful, enthusiastic, and always smiling. I would definitely come back here again on my next trip 💛.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. It's a strategic location for travellers and a convenient and safe location for solo travellers. The hotel is quite clean and comfortable. The walls aren't soundproof however during my stay it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I'd definitely choose this hotel again.

Pros: Two main advantages – ample parking and close proximity to Jonker Street.
Cons:
The hotel's beds and pillows are very old; the bed was too soft, and I didn't get good rest. The sheets and duvet are also outdated and definitely need replacing. The carpet had an odor. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; it felt like no effort was put in. The fruit was sour, the baked beans had an odd smell, and the rice seemed like it was from the day before. I had to spend extra money to take my kids out for breakfast.

This guesthouse was absolutely amazing! It was the quickest booking I made for my trip. I was a bit skeptical at first, as the details page showed it looked really new and quite luxurious, but the price was within my budget, so I decided quickly. The price included the tourist tax, but they required a 100 MYR deposit upon check-in (I prepared cash because they said credit card refunds take a long time to process). So, if you're planning to stay, it's best to prepare cash beforehand, as many hotels in Malaysia seem to require a deposit (cash is also more convenient for taxis).
Honestly, it turned out to be the biggest and most luxurious accommodation of my entire trip (including Singapore). It's a shame I only stayed one night. It's located within a high-end apartment complex with a gym and pool, which I sadly didn't get to use. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all amenities – superb! The staff's attitude was decent. Trip.com mentioned a potential charge for 'famous historical sites,' but we weren't charged, probably because we weren't staying at one. Plus, there are several restaurants downstairs, and I highly recommend the 'Hao Shi Noodle House' – it's affordable and delicious.
For anyone traveling to Malacca, I genuinely recommend this place. For around 280 MYR, I feel like it could even be cheaper during the off-season, haha.

The location is fantastic, right behind the Stadthuys and next to the river. Most of the main attractions are within easy reach, and you can take a pleasant stroll to Jonker Street in the evening. On weekends, this area is closed to traffic and becomes a pedestrian zone, perfect for leisurely walks and sightseeing. You can also walk along the river to the Spice Garden and then take a boat back. We happened to catch a lively local event, with singing and dancing late into the night. Thanks to the prime location, we were lucky enough to enjoy it until the very end.

This hotel is great, just a bit hard to find. The online name is different from the actual hotel name, that's the only issue. Everything else is excellent! The room is spacious, and there's a swimming pool downstairs with a kids' water play area, which is fantastic!

FFaizzul ImanI stayed at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka, Room 0059, from 8/2/2026 to 9/2/2026.
The room itself was good, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool is huge and very family-friendly. The food selection was generally good with a decent variety.
However, the major letdown was the electricity issue, which seriously affected our stay.
Our room and block experienced a blackout for a few minutes at night. Worse, while we were sleeping, the electricity kept tripping 3–4 times. Each time this happened, the air-conditioning turned off. My children were sleeping and woke up sweating due to the heat. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Other issues:
• The prayer mat provided in the room had a bad smell and clearly needed to be washed or replaced.
• During breakfast, the putu mayam was served with grated coconut that had turned sour.
• During checkout, the lobby was extremely crowded with a large group of people standing around. It felt very congested and uncomfortable, especially with families and children trying to move around.
Overall, the hotel has good facilities and strong potential, but the repeated electricity disruptions and poor crowd management during checkout need urgent improvement to ensure guest comfort.
DDragonincThis the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.
GGuest UserBooked the junior suite with 2bedrooms and extended for another night.
Room is extremely spacious and nicely decor.
Front desk staffs were friendly and courteous.
Hotel is well located with lots of eateries and shopping within short walk.
Only bad experience is with all the 3 TVs in the room.
Unable to watch on any channels due to no signal.
No TVs for 2 nights stay.
Everything else was good.
TTiya TanOverall, this hotel is clean and comfortable. Here's what I liked:
- The room had carpet, but it was clean and odor-free.
- I really liked that the room had plenty of lighting! Usually, most hotels have very dim lighting in the rooms.
- Regarding soundproofing, even though it's by the roadside, I couldn't hear any car or motorcycle noise at all! However, you can hear the vacuum cleaner when housekeeping is cleaning.
- Parking was easy to find.
- The shower pressure was great.
- The air conditioning was cold enough.
I'll definitely be staying here again next time! ✌
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
GGuest UserI decided to stay at this hotel for the second time due to its convenient location and affordable online booking rate at Trip booking. There are Mc D behind n the restaurants also reachable, I mean within walking distance. The staff are very friendly , the room is clean , well decorated n the facilities are well maintained. The staff attended n response to our complaints immediately.Late check out with affordable price.
