The breakfast spread was alright for 2days but on the 3&4th day you will be bored of it. Everyday is different fruits served. The staffs all are very friendly.
Good for toddler hotel. Nearby has many eatery and famous hidden cafe. Walking distance to cenai mall
Nearby airport. Have at least 4days stay.

Second time here, and it’s a reliable, clean and basic accommodation with unexpected perks I would vouch for! Rm35/24h scooter rental (well used bikes), free drinks in the lobby and a nice view of the river/boats, islands, Maha tower and sea (for sea view; not city). Would love day curtains for more privacy. This time, the lobby aircon broke down and the fan circulates a slight sweaty smell. But staff are friendly and polite!

The location of We Hotel Langkawi is excellent. It is near many good dining spots, duty free shops and just in front of Maha Tower with a good sea view nearby.
Purely from my recent personal experience, the service quality is acceptable if you are not too fussy. It is decent enough for a budget stay in Kuah Town without burning your pockets. However, bear in mind that you have to bring along your own tooth paste, shampoo, tooth brush and/or hair dryer as the hotel does not provide such toiletries for you. Occasionally, if you are ”lucky” enough, you may also spot some baby cockroaches in the bathroom or near your bed. Hotel has to carry out pest control measures to eliminate this problem so as to improve the level of hygiene and cleanliness.

Good value for money. Our room had a view of the bay. The staff are amazing, breakfast was also OK for the price. This hotel is a little dated, , you can see that rooms are somewhat tired. I didn't like the blue towels in the bathroom, they had a funky smell. Otherwise, it's truly worth the money.
I had a pleasant stay at Swiss Avenue Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. The location was excellent, making it easy to access nearby amenities. However, I noticed that the floor could have been cleaner, as there was some dirt. Also, the shampoo provided was quite watery, so it might be worth improving the quality. Additionally, only one lift was in operation, leading to long waiting times, as the other lift was under maintenance. Overall, it was a good experience, and with a few small improvements, it could be even better!
Everything is beyond expectation. Did not expect our stays at this hotel this good. The receptionist is helpful. Aircond, heater function well. Only the hallway carpet are bit dented and old but no weird smell. Breakfast or sahur during Ramadhan don't have many variations.
i had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in was fast and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room. It came with all the basic amenities, including a kettle, plates, mug, soap dish, and even an induction cooker, perfect for a longer stay. The price was very affordable, and they even allow extensions at a reasonable RM20 per hour. My only suggestion is for the hotel to provide umbrellas. During my check-out, it was pouring rain, and since I was heading to the airport before dropping off my rental car, I had no choice but to walk in the rain as there were no umbrellas available to borrow.
Breakfast is good, have many choices. love the coffee crema, kuih-kuih n ayam merah. Room condition is ok. Higly suggest the shower room should put curtain or install the door to prevent the water split on floor and make the floor very slippery. is really danger if the floor is wet, easy to fall down. overall still recommend to stay here.
All good
- clean enterence
- clean lobby area
- friendly staffs
- near to convenience store
- I am ran a restaurant business before...
...here also...
I just would like to give some advice to the nasi kandar yasmeen restaurant near the hotel -
please get rid of all the stray cats near the premises.
It is so disappointing with the bad smell & get disturbing by the cats while eating.
There is something the owner should do about this speacialy when come to cleanliness & customer comfort.
I don't hate cats.
It is just about the food & beverage & the business environment 😊 ,
especially to those customers like me who are a bit sensitive & allergic to unpleasant environmental odors, especially when enjoying food.
I stay for 3 days and 2 nights in Fuller Hotel.
My friend and i are from Puchong Selangor.
Thank you

PPuteriShaharimanWe stayed at Rebak Island Resort for 4 days 3 nights, one of the best experience we had. I will list the pros n cons -
Pros:
1. They hv free scheduled ferry so u can go to cenang from rebak or vice versa. Make sure to plan ahead
2. So many activities on the island itself- kayak, atv, cycling, pool, beaches, nature walk, yoga, etc (some need to pay)
3. Friendly staff
4. Free buggy service in the resort
5. Serene and peaceful resort
6. Love the BBQ on saturday night (rm90/head)
7. Breakfast was good
Cons :
1. Rebak island is located at southern side of langkawi while most tourist attraction is at the north near tanjung rhu or near town area. Bit far to travel and need to make sure the ferry schedule match since u need to take ferry out from rebak to cenang first
2. Would suggest to go here and just do activities around rebak. We spent only 1 day to visit the mangrove and shop at Billion. The rest we only stay at rebak and join the ATV n kayak there.
3. If you want to go out of rebak, the nearest is Cenang. They hv paragliding there and fire dance at night.
4. While i think kayak and ATV are worth it (rm90/head), other activities by the hotel (cruise, jetski, mangrove, snorkling) are overpriced. You can get it cheaper booking from the locals / klook
5. Very disapointed with their ala carte dinner menu. We ordered thai green curry, tom yam goong, calamari and apple crumble. Tbh it tasted like the ones sell on the street. Not authentic at all and tasted not good. The moment i saw brocolli in my tom yam goong i knew its bad
6. We took the sea view 1 bedroom, quite far from the lobby but still walkable. You can call for buggy if you are lazy to walk
Overall i love it. The best memories we had is the kayak. We were greeted by otters! Apparently their house is just near the island so high chance for you to see otters there!
FFarhan Jameel JaffriI recently stayed in one of their Rainforest Chalets, and it was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Nestled in the lush greenery of the rainforest, the chalet offered a peaceful escape surrounded by nature’s sounds – perfect for unwinding.
The chalet had a warm, rustic charm with a private balcony that opened up to the forest. Inside, it was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities like air conditioning and a spacious bathroom. The wooden floorboards were quite creaky, which was a bit noticeable, especially at night, but it added to the old-world feel of the place.
One small but thoughtful gesture really stood out – a staff member came by to restock the minibar without us even asking, and when he noticed we don’t drink alcohol, he kindly offered to replace the beers with soft drinks instead. That level of attentiveness and flexibility really added a personal touch to our stay.
The resort itself is large and beautifully maintained, with convenient shuttle service to get around. The staff throughout were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Rainforest Chalet at Berjaya Resort for anyone looking for a nature-immersed retreat with great service and comfort – just be prepared for a few creaks and quirks that come with staying in the heart of the rainforest.
AAnonymous UserThe ambience, location, services and facilities all good ill say almost 5⭐️. However the room cleanliness is not meet the expectations. The room have visible dusty lamp, broken bulb. And the water bottle is mouldy (they use refillable bottle). The kettle also rusty inside and im not dare to use it.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean and beautifully maintained.
The bathtub was spacious, and the location was great for accessing the city.
However, if you want to visit the main beach, you will need a car.
AAnonymous UserIt is inconvenient that there is no partition in the shower
At night, a cat and a rat ran around the 2nd floor and screamed, it was scary to go out, but it was not possible to inform the administrator about this, they answered only in the morning, although a number was indicated for communication after hours.
Besides, it's strange - is the hotel really completely unguarded at night, and in case of an emergency, no one will come to the rescue.
After cleaning, everything was OK at first, they stopped leaving towels for the second person, and on the last day they didn't leave any water.
However, the room itself is beautiful and comfortable. But the textiles with permanent stains and shabby, do not match the room level.
MMuraleedharan RI had an amazing experience staying at this beachside resort during my vacation — definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to! The location is stunning, right by the beach and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was super comfortable and all the facilities were top-notch.
The staff were really friendly and always ready to help with a smile. What I loved the most was how kid-friendly the place was. The hotel organized several fun activities just for children and my kids had a blast participating in them — they were entertained and happy throughout the stay!
The buffet breakfast was another highlight — so many tasty options and everything was fresh and delicious. It was a great way to start each day.
A special mention to Mrs. Mary, the tour manager who was incredibly supportive. She helped coordinate all our activities in Langkawi smoothly and made our trip even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Langkawi — it’s perfect for families, couples or even solo travelers looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!
SSir AkidI recently stayed at Mercure Hotel Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! This is my second time staying here, and it’s always my first choice whenever I visit Langkawi.
The room amenities, environment, and overall condition of the hotel were superb. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay truly relaxing.
One area of improvement would be the check-in process, as I had to wait until 4:30 PM for my room to be ready. However, the staff were very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. As a kind gesture, they offered me a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated. It definitely made up for the delay and even got me more excited about my stay.
Well done, Mercure Hotel! Your service and hospitality continue to impress me. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying again in the future.
TTanI stayed at this hotel recently due to missed flights and enjoyed the experience overall. The location is perfect, especially if you’re catching a flight. super close to the airport, and they provide pick-up and drop-off services, which made everything so convenient.
The environment is calm and pleasant, and I genuinely loved the vibe here. However, I did hear some weird cranking noises at night, which made me a little bit difficult to fall asleep, it’s definitely spooked me a little bit LOLLL
GGuest UserStayed in a hotel for 3 days. Hotel near the airport, 10-13 minutes drive. Hotel staff is very kind, friendly, helpful. They greet you with few welcome drinks for a few days. Enjoyed large swimming pool with nice greenery view. Beach in 10-15 minutes walking distance. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel looks old. Budget friendly hotel.
YYeeYinThe hotel is well-maintained and looks very new. The king-size bed is extremely comfortable, with a Serta mattress that makes for a great night’s sleep—I almost didn’t want to leave the bed!
The decor features white mosaic marble, and the toiletries are from Balmain. The location is also great, not too far from Cenang—just a 5-6 minute drive. Walking is possible, but it can be quite hot.
The breakfast is also delicious, with freshly prepared dishes: omelette, chicken soup noodle.
There are restaurants across the street, including the Orkid Seafood Restaurant. Behind the hotel, there’s also a beach, and they provide a buggy service to take you there. The pool is awesome! 24hours gym. Got jacuzzi and sauna.
However, some towels were a bit yellowed, and the water in the bathtub was slightly discolored, though the shower water was fine. I noted that I was celebrating a birthday, and they thoughtfully prepared a cake and decorations for me.
