The environment is OK, the facilities are in line with the local economic situation, travel with colleagues, foreign customers choose hotels, the hotel decoration style is more distinctive, there are many foreigners inside!
One of the best ways to experience real rural Cambodian life in luxury settings. The resort has a restaurant, swimming pool, and separate villas that are traditional Cambodian rural wooden homes (but with proper bathrooms and amazing antique interior decorative items). The restaurant has excellent Western and Asian food. Breakfast was nice (no buffet though...). Getting there by ferry could be an issue, but we did take the private boat/tuk-tuk arranged by the resort, which was easy. Also, clear instructions were provided for safe car parking near the ferry pier. Early morning walk to Mekong shore - sand dunes, Bicycle ride, and horse cart ride highly recommended. (Besides Kampi Dolfins, of course) Special thanks to Bong Ly Sokheng, front office manager. He was extremely helpfull and attentive to detail. As well as all other team members - at the resort everything was excellent, communication by phone could be improved though....
The hotel is relatively clean, the service is very good, the restaurant's food is delicious, the hotel's French style is very beautiful, there are new people to take wedding photos here, the only downside is that the timid girl should not stay alone, because it is too quiet, and the room furniture is old-fashioned, I'm afraid at night... In addition, if you want to see dolphin, you can go directly to dolphine view to buy a ticket without time limit.
Very good offer for the money you pay! The dorm room is very clean, with comfy beds and lockers. It also has a balcony with a nice view on the river. Location is quite central and you can book the dolphin tours directly with them.
Big minus from my side though, as there is even a camera directly in the dorm room. This is too much of surveillance and no other hostel has this. When I asked why, the owner told me „it’s not a private room“.
