Location is convenient but requires 5 to 10 mins walk to nearest train station. It's in a business neighbourhood so not many late night food options available around but its a nice quiet place to go back to after a day out at bustling umeda or namba. Hotel room was really spacious, nicely done up and comfortable; I wish I had one more night here. Service staff at the lobby were all friendly and they very graciously gave me an early check-in when there was a room available. Highly recommended!

Facilities: Standard amenities, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a bathtub. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and the surrounding area was also very clean. Location: There's a supermarket nearby, and it's only a few minutes' walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Service: Service was decent, pretty much what you'd expect for this type of establishment.

The room isn't too far from the subway, and the surroundings are very quiet. The hygiene is excellent, and the hotel staff are very friendly. They even let us check in early for free! It's a great hotel, good value for money.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS PLACE!! 💯 Was greeted with a minion-themed entrance when we walked in and the staff were very friendly. The hotel room was by far the best we have stayed in our entire Japan trip with a huge space and beautiful sight of the ocean (caught the sunrise view in the early morning too), and the breakfast was even better with the most delicious spread of Japanese food 😍 just a short 5min walk away from USJ entrance. Only downside is no convenient store in the hotel that opens 24/7, but there's a Lawson nearby at the hotel opposite us. Would highly recommend this place for at least 2 nights if you are here to visit USJ!

Excellent stay! It was super convenient to get to the outlets, and I was so happy to find many great things for my son and husband. I'll definitely be back! The service was top-notch, and the complimentary Pola facial cleanser samples felt very luxurious. Shopping at Daimaru was also incredibly easy.

The hotel's surroundings are excellent, with convenient transportation; there are 3 subway stations within 1 km. However, I did notice some discrimination against Chinese guests, especially from the breakfast restaurant staff. Their service attitude clearly differed between Chinese guests and Caucasians. While it might not bother everyone, it was noticeable. Overall, this hotel is still worth staying at. The room cleaning was also very good and timely.

Rooms are really small but!!! For the price you pay, it's really worth it. Shin-imamiya station just right across the road, it's super convenient. There's a konbini just right downstairs too. The rooms aren't much to scream about, but they provide a good rest. Toilets are small, but expected of Japan. It was a good experience nevertheless given the superb location. Front desk staff are friendly and spoke relatively good English, providing us with directions and good recommendations on places to eat in the vicinity. Osaka tower is just a short walk away! They've even got a luggage weighing scale at the lobby for you to weigh in the bags before heading to the airport.

The view from the room was excellent. Unfortunately, our room didn't face Osaka Castle Park, so we missed out on seeing the Tenshukaku (castle tower). The furnishings and facilities felt quite new, and we found no issues with cleanliness. As for the front desk service, it was a bit hard to judge; they weren't overly enthusiastic, but certainly efficient enough. We managed to check in with a combination of my rather broken English and a translation app. They also kindly provided children's amenities and complimentary scones. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd be happy to book here again on my next trip.

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel's location is excellent, right across from Tenmabashi Station, with Osaka Castle within walking distance. The room was quite spacious for Japan; even with my 26-inch suitcase, it didn't feel cramped. The wooden decor throughout the room gave it a warm and cozy feel. Unlike many Japanese hotels where windows face a wall or are frosted, this one was fantastic – not only was it a floor-to-ceiling window, but you could also open it slightly for ventilation, which felt both safe and comfortable. While it might not be as conveniently located for transport as Namba, the trade-off is larger rooms and a cleaner surrounding area. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Osaka.

For this price in Japan, it's truly excellent! One of the staff at the front desk speaks Chinese, so communication was seamless. It's located in a residential area, which makes it very quiet, so I slept really well. The room was a bit small, but for Osaka at this price point, it's an unbeatable deal.

TTravellingmamaThe hotel is situated right in front of USJ and lots of restaurants to choose from. There is a big Lawson to top up your snacks and drinks too. Room is spacious and can easily fit a small family. The beds are clean. Easy check in and check out. They have full bathroom amenities, kettle and flask to collect water. The thing to improve on is the wifi. We can hardly connect to it and the TV programs don’t load.

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

CCG Lim1The Holiday Inn Osaka Namba was an excellent choice for my trip! I was so impressed with the location. It's absolutely perfect for exploring Osaka, as it is just steps away from the heart of Dotonbori and surrounded by major shopping areas. Being able to step out and immediately be in the middle of the action—from famous food stalls to department stores—made the entire trip so convenient. Furthermore, the hotel itself was wonderfully clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and the room provided a comfortable and quiet retreat after busy days of sightseeing.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is super easy to find, right by Exit 1 of Dobutsuen-mae Station, and it's literally next door to the Shinsekai area with Tsutenkaku Tower. It's incredibly convenient for both transport and sightseeing. They have their own hot spring, which is amazing for relaxing after a day of exploring. The room size is pretty decent too, definitely more spacious than your typical Japanese express hotel. Plus, the breakfast spread offers a good variety. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka!

MM514907****The room was incredibly spacious, seriously the biggest I've ever stayed in throughout Japan. Highly recommended! Finally, there's enough space for two people without feeling cramped. The value for money is outstanding. I definitely recommend it. The night view from up high is stunning, and it's beautiful during the day too. Plus, it's very affordable. They even offer airport shuttle service for morning flights. And again, the price-performance ratio is excellent.

KkindaleiThe location is superb! It's right opposite Grand Front Plaza, which has many unique shops. The iconic Hankyu department store is also nearby. Umeda Station and Osaka Station are both within a 10-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining options around. The breakfast at the cafe next to the lobby was also great and very good value for money. The hotel's front desk staff were all very pleasant, except for one Chinese staff member. I asked her to help me call and book a restaurant, but she insisted on speaking English to me, even though her English wasn't very good. First, she said I couldn't use the front desk phone for external calls and had to use my own mobile. When I agreed, she then went on and on, basically saying I absolutely needed a Japanese phone number for her to make the reservation. Her attitude was quite aggressive, even worse than the Japanese staff. I just turned around and booked it myself online… Thumbs down.

11333195****The room isn't small for a standard hotel, big enough to open two medium-sized suitcases. The double bed is quite large. Although it's not far from the airport, it's very quiet and has a great view; on a clear day, you can see the 'jelly sea.' On the third floor, the large public bath has a carbonated bath, and after soaking, your arms are covered in tiny bubbles, which is fun. Check-in and check-out are entirely self-service via machines, which is very convenient. The free airport shuttle only runs until 11 AM daily and requires scanning a QR code to book, with limited slots. We were lucky to snag the last two spots for our desired time slot.

DDavidTosoWe stayed at this hotel for three nights during a trip to Osaka, and I was very pleased with the experience. The hotel is rated three stars and is located outside the city center, but it’s easily accessible thanks to the nearby train station, making it convenient for getting around and visiting Osaka’s attractions. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well-furnished, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness is excellent, with the housekeeping staff doing an impeccable job every day. A highlight is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. It’s a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day and take some nice photos of the scenery. The hotel staff is very efficient and helpful, although they don’t speak fluent English. However, they’re always ready to assist and communicate via online translators, which makes interactions easy and pleasant. Another advantage for those traveling by car is the hotel’s automated parking system, which is well-designed and easy to use. This mobile parking system allows stress-free parking and quick access to the car, ideal for those wanting to explore the surrounding areas of Osaka independently. The area offers a few dining options, with restaurants serving tasty food at very reasonable prices. Having a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby is also convenient, where you can make small purchases and withdraw cash from ATMs available 24/7—a true plus for travelers. In summary, this is a great choice for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, well-connected to the city, with all essential services close at hand

MM22662****The location is excellent, right outside the subway station near the airport, with FamilyMart and Lawson downstairs, plus a drugstore and a yakiniku restaurant next door. The room itself is also good. However, the staff's service attitude was really poor. When I went to the front desk to borrow a power adapter, they were very dismissive. And when I tried to ask the front desk to exchange some Japanese Yen, the old man with glasses just kept saying 'no, no, no' without even looking up, like a broken record that only knew how to say 'no'.

AAnonymous UserThis was the best family-friendly hotel for our trip to Japan. The room wasn't huge, but it was relatively new and very clean. They even put a step stool in front of the bathroom sink for kids and had a baby crib ready, which shows great attention to detail. The breakfast was also good. Even though it was Golden Week and the hotel was packed, breakfast service was well-organized. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious, and the waffles and rice were tasty too! The location is key – it's excellent. Right outside, you're on the Universal Studios Japan promenade, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance.
