One of Macau tourist attractions every year is the Macau Light Festival, and of the location for the festival is the Nam Van Lake. Macau Tourism Government indeed made sure that people in Macao and the tourist will enjoy the festival.
This has been my 7th year of experience for the light festival and it always leave me speechless with their different theme every year. And glad that I’m able to visit the Nam Van Lake again this year, coz it brings so much memory. The last time I was here was 2019 when my family came to visit me in Macau. Macau will always have a special spot in my heart.
I had lots of memories to look back and cherish.
I can’t wait to visit other countries also and explore different culture and foods.

There are four man-made islands within Nam Van Lake. Along with Sai Van Lake, the two artificial lakes cover 80 hectares of space.
The lake is currently used for several water sports, including sprint, kayaking, rowing and dragon boat race.
Many people go there to sit take a picture and canoeing and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It's really nice place to go there.

The Nam Van Lake
#bucketlistreboot The Nam Van Lake is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay (Praia Grande Bay), created when the causeway (Avenida Dr Sun Yat Sen) partially closed off the bay. The project to close the lake began in 1991 to attract more development in Macau. Nam Van means South Bay in Chinese. Much of the land southwest of the bay was created from landfill.
The Macau Legislative Assembly Building and Superior Court of Macau Building overlook the lake. The lake is bisected by the Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho or Macau-Taipa Bridge. #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog #passionpassport #mytripvlog

"The Nam Van Lake" is located in the Macau Peninsula. It is an artificial lake formed by land reclamation project in 1992, with an area of 130 hectares, divided into Nam Van Lake and Sai Van Lake. The Macau Tower and the Fusion Gate are located in Sai Van Lake, while Nam Van Lake has facilities such as laser fountain, lakeside recreation area, water sports center, and artificial island. Among them, there is the largest music fountain in Asia in the lake, which can spray water in different shapes. The column fountain can spray water up to 80 meters high. The wonderful performance composed of music, lighting, and water curtain is quite spectacular.
