#China Museum of Industry Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
To experience industrial culture, one must visit the China Industrial Museum
The China Industrial Museum, a building both profound and filled with modern elements, is located at the intersection of Wei Gong Bei Street and Bei Yi Road in the Tiexi District.
In China, it is the only industrial museum honored with the national title and capable of bearing the weight of profound industrial culture. It stands majestically in the Tiexi District, an area with a rich history of old industry.
Turning back time, this building, filled with the remnants of steel and sweat, was once the site of the Shenyang Foundry.
On May 18, 2012, carrying the dream of Tiexi's industrial transformation, the first phase of the China Industrial Museum grandly opened. The flag of industrial culture, in a new way of display, flies high above the once glorious industrial relics.
Entering the China Industrial Museum, one is greeted by a massive 50-ton, 18-meter-high bronze relief that powerfully depicts the spectacular scene of the first furnace of molten steel being produced after the founding of New China. It symbolizes the ceaseless boiling and uplifting spirit of Shenyang's industry.
The museum is divided into several sections: casting, machine tools, Tiexi, automobiles, and a general history. A quick tour takes about two hours, while a detailed visit could take several days.
Most of the exhibits in the machine tool hall are old machine tools, such as lathes, drilling machines, grinding machines, planers, etc., as well as some CNC machine tools. The old machines have little rust but much peeling paint, and their handles are polished to a shine. Thanks to the shortage of security staff, visitors can touch the exhibits, which are not delicate artifacts and are not afraid of bumps, as long as people don't get hurt.
The automobile hall is filled with cars, including a few relatively new Huas, and the rest are old cars. There's a Red Flag CA770, but unfortunately, sitting inside is not allowed.
The general history hall houses a Red Flag 2 missile, the one that took down a U-2 spy plane. It looks like a rocket, with two stages visible on the outside, placed on a carriage and taking up the length of a wall.
Personally, I think the most fun part of the museum is the casting hall, which preserves one of the original foundry workshops. There are rail tracks on the floor, allowing trains to drive directly in.
This is an authentic factory workshop, without any bourgeois affectation, just rows of equipment. Although the smell of the factory and the dust are gone, and there are no workers coming and going, standing here one can still feel the power of the working class that dares to demand a new heaven from the sun and the moon.

The testament of New China's eldest son
The museum displays the glorious history of China's industry, from ancient machinery to modern innovative achievements, which is truly astonishing. Especially standing in front of the huge machines, it's extremely impressive!
There's a feeling of being moved to tears, walking inside, as if seeing the eldest son of the republic who once selflessly dedicated everything to the motherland~ who had dispatched countless talents and technologies to all over the country!
Liaoning Shenyang Spring Festival Gala Sub-venue
Happy New Year 2024! The "China Industrial Museum" in Shenyang, Liaoning is one of the sub-venues of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, which is a great honor.
It was really shining here on the night of the 30th. The mountains and seas are affectionate, the sky is vast and the earth is peaceful!
To Shenyang, of course you can't miss the China Industrial Museum.
There is a relief painting in the center of the hall of the China Industrial Museum. From the expressions of the relief figures, they can see their determination and perseverance in revitalizing the national industry.
As a Chinese, seeing such reliefs is awkward.
Shenyang China Industrial Museum is China's first industrial-themed museum. The 60,000-square-meter museum houses a large collection of industrial-related documents and machinery.
Through the various museums of the museum, the machines and equipment of different ages are presented one by one, through which you can clearly understand the development track of Chinese industry. These devices are all alive, especially for middle-aged and old tourists, where they collect the collective memories of their time.
In the car museum, you can see the oldest classic cars and cars in China. The
old-fashioned machine is icy on the surface and actually embodies the development track of modern Chinese industry.
Entering the 21st century, CNC technology has developed by leaps and bounds. The use of high-tech in national industries is close to the world's top level, and some technologies are even in a leading position.
Shenyang China Museum has several first in China, such as the first casting manipulator, the first self-developed tube mold, the first ultra-high pressure tube sample tube, the first universal drilling machine, the first eight Axial vertical machine, the first precision screw machine, the first five-axis linkage machine.
The days in Shenyang these days were the warmest days of the winter, and I met a snow at the Shenyang Industrial Museum. Snowy winter needs to match bright colors, I wear a set of pink clothes, play in the snow
free to play, southerners look at the snow is so happy.
The snow falls on the body, I don't want to shake it, I don't feel cold in the snow, I play in the heavy snow~
