We really like the corner room with city view that we got. It was clean, smell good, the windows are clean, able to see the city. The only thing that bothered us a little is the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed. We could literally hear anything coming out of other rooms lol. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming. The rooftop bar was cool and beautiful, the price is super reasonable - seemed to be short staffed though. The organization of the place wasn't great at all and the guy at the entrance checking ID wasn't nice, he looks like he doesn't want to be there. But overall, the hotel, the bar and most of the staff were really nice and welcoming :)))
We stayed for our anniversary but won’t be staying again. The staff were very nice and the room was fine itself but the bed was terrible and the room was incredibly noisy!! My husband is a very patient man, almost too patient at times I think and this constant walking upstairs for hours on end made him soo mad it actually had me laughing. We could not believe how loud it was with the people upstairs walking back and forth until at least 2am “not even kidding” when we finally managed to pass out from sheer exhaustion. We woke up at 4 with low back pain from the hard bed and both decided to leave because it wasn’t worth trying to fall back asleep on that mattress and then having to listen to the people upstairs who would be walking back and forth again we figured soon. What was driving us crazy was what in the world could they have been doing for hours on end walking around in that small room?? It was so loud with each step and we could hear them talking and walking and water then walking..... ahhhh we were able to find the humor in it on the drive home with our seat warmers on for our back pain and strong coffees for the sleep deprivation, but we won’t be making a return trip. Lovely staff and nice location though. ;)
Eugene is a good city! It feels good to live here! There are many restaurants downstairs in the hotel! I recommend a Thai food that tastes very good! The price is also very good!
The hotel is very high-end and grand. The rooms are suites. The space is very large and very quiet. The interior of the hotel has a good sense of space. The breakfast is also very good. It is a good hotel choice in Beaverton.
I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my personal belongings left in the refrigerator during my recent stay at your hotel.
We stayed at Hilton Portland Downtown from December 23 to December 24, occupying Rooms 416 and 417. Upon checkout, a full box of prescription medications was accidentally left inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms.
I want to be very clear about the nature of these items:
The box was full and intact
It contained injectable prescription medications, clearly medical in nature
The medications were stored inside the refrigerator, not left out in the room
These items were obviously not trash and are easy to identify as medical supplies
Given these facts, I find it extremely concerning and unacceptable that:
The items were apparently discarded or mishandled, and
No attempt was made to contact me to confirm whether these medically critical items should be kept.
At a minimum, I would expect hotel staff to recognize that refrigerated injectable medications are not garbage, and that such items require verification with the guest before disposal. The failure to do so reflects a serious lack of care and responsibility, especially considering the medical importance of these medications.
These medications are essential for managing chronic health conditions, and their loss has caused significant distress and inconvenience. This situation could and should have been avoided with a simple phone call.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was extremely courteous and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The location of the hotel is also a big advantage, as it is easily accessible and close to key areas. The food quality was excellent, with a good variety of options available. Overall, it was a great experience, offering good value for money, and I would happily stay here again.
The staff is very friendly. The parking lot is in the public parking lot at different entrances of the same building. It is a bit ”unfriendly” that the overnight charge for the public parking lot is $28, but it costs $35 to apply at the hotel. It may be that there is ”service” in it. Overall it is quite good.
The hotel as a whole is more like a motel layout, but relatively safer because it needs to be turned from the main road into the interior of a yard instead of directly facing the road. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and there are paid drinks and snacks in the room. The only obvious downside is the sound insulation.

GGuest UserIt is located in the city center, so it is convenient to walk, public transportation, and Uber. The building itself is large, the lobby is also large, and the rooms are also large. The bathroom floor was sticky. All the staff were friendly and nice. The building itself is old, but the atmosphere is nice.
QQIXINThe location of the hotel feels a bit far away, but it is very convenient to drive not far from the highway. Free parking. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the whole is okay. About three stars
AAdam ValentinerI would describe this as a hipster hotel with unique character to match the downtown area. My teenage kids did like the room and the adjacent coffee shop. However, I felt the room was a little small, especially the bathroom and the room could use some updating like more amenities like towel racks and storage for suitcases. Our room was not close to being recently remodeled so pictures can be a little deceiving. Bed was comfortable but I could hear people walking around above our room at night. I also struggled with parking found it very stressful trying to find parking, plan to spend around $40 a day on parking a day if you are driving around a lot. The overnight parking which is approx 10-15 minutes away walking distance is not on site and is only $20 a night, but it does not feel safe after 10pm to be walking around due to the homeless problem in the area. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel. I def don't feel like this was a 3 star hotel, I would give it a 2.5 out of 4 or 5 stars. The breakfast was a continental at best. Pastries with juice or coffee and fruit. Sometimes they provided yogurt or boxed oatmeal and oat milk but nothing special and get there before 9 am or there may run out of items. Portland has a lot of fun things to see but because of the homeless problem I would seek out recommendations for the best attractions and stir clear of the problem areas. Washington park and art museum were a lot of fun to visit. Multnomah Falls would be an all day trip and get there very early since parking is terrible or park off site and take tram in. I was also charged an additional fee of $25 a night which was not mentioned anywhere on the trip.com booking receipt.
GGuest UserWe were very disappointed to discover that there were no kitchen essentials, I guess we didn't study the fine print to understand that, but honestly.....not even a cup to get a drink out of??? No icemaker in the hotel, and no way to make ice in the freezer in the room? The pull out bed had no bedding or pillows. There was ONE roll of toilet paper for three of us for three nights. NO HAND TOWELS is ridiculous!!! When I asked about them the clerk said we should just use our washcloth. The bath towels were tiny and inadequate. But, by far....the worst thing about this place was there was NO HOT WATER in the shower!! It was clear the lever had been purposely adjusted to stop in the straight up position not allowing the lever to be turned left toward the hot water side. After we all had to endure a lukewarm shower I asked at the desk about it and was told we would need to exit the room for their repair person to adjust it. So we did. The next morning? Even colder!!! That alone, I believe warrants a full refund. OH.......and to top it off....a crazy lady shouting profanities was in the parking lot and the desk clerk solved the problem by...bringing her into the hotel to be with all of us. How is this right? How is this any way to run a brand new hotel. How is this place worthy of the Choice hotel brand? It is not. I fully expect a representative to contact me for a partial credit. Cold showers are not what I paid for. Thank you.
GGuest User. The hotel left a mixed impression. Despite the excellent reviews and not being the cheapest option, we were overall disappointed.
Starting with the positives:
A very convenient location in a pleasant, green, and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. There are plenty of great cafés, small shops, restaurants, and wine bars nearby.
Polite and friendly staff at the front desk.
Interesting room design.
Spacious parking available for hotel guests.
Large rooms.
Now the downsides:
Thin walls and creaky floors made it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. The young couple staying in the next room was clearly enjoying their time together, which unfortunately meant a very uncomfortable experience for us. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy — not only did it hum loudly when running, but it also made constant knocking sounds.
The breakfast was exceptionally poor. The only “hot” items seemed to be the coffee and a dishwasher, which, oddly enough, was placed right in the middle of the breakfast area.
There were two small TVs in the room, both positioned very inconveniently for viewing, and neither had streaming services available.
The housekeeping staff was intrusive — within a 20-minute period, they knocked on the door three times (and even tried to open it once), apparently trying to hurry us out, even though it was still before checkout time.
TTiffany GlassThe hotel is set up very open and not all cramped together it actually spans across 4 buildings in one area of town. The front desk guy was very helpful and got me checked in to my room way early at about 9am and the room was phenomenal!! Definitely worth it to get the suite with the jacuzzi and balcony. Probably the nicest executive suite I have stayed in and I will be extending my stay and returning another time too. On my top 10 list of best hotels and service
Nnicole.wants.adventureI arrived to quite late to my booking. The front desk staff was courteous and even offered me a cookie when I checked in. My room was clean and orderly. There were a few stains in the carpet, but nothing too bad. The shower was amazing and had two shower head. There were plenty of outlets through out the room for all of my devices including next to the beds. The room also had a little couch coffee table, microwave, and mini fridge which was super nice. They did charge for the bottled water in the room though. I paid extra when I booked my room to have breakfast included, the breakfast was great. Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Eggs, and Waffles. They also had bagels and some items in the salad bar area but I didnt mess with any of that. Overall it was a pleasant stay. My only complaint would be related to the parking. There wasnt very many parking spots to begin with and the spots were super small. It made getting in and out of my car very difficult when parked. The hotel was super easy to find and was right off of I-5. However, I will warn you that the entrance is tucked around on the backside.
GGuest UserThe Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel has an excellent location. The rooms are good and are reasonably clean. The hotel is aging somewhat gracefully but still has no air conditioning in the rooms. The service however is not friendly to fishermen staying there to fish for the outstanding Fall run of Pacific Salmon in the Siletz River. Specifically, the rigid office hours of 7 am to 10 pm are all but useless for fishermen. In 3 years of staying there I have yet to be able to take advantage of their free breakfast. Also, there is no freezer on site that is usable for fishermen. I was specifically denied access to a freezer for my fish fillets that is there (behind a locked door) for what are (IMHO) very bogus reasons. I also had issues with an extremely noisy ventilation system coming from somewhere other than my bathroom (reported after my first night but never fixed during my 7 nights there), hot water that would run out halfway through my shower, and a loss of TV during my last 2 days there. For all these reasons I will be looking to stay elsewhere when I return to Lincoln City to fish next Fall.
