Great place by the airport. For people on transit it is hard to beat. It gets the job done if that’s all you need. But if you’re looking for someplace to stay more than one night, other venues may be better suited.

Hotel location is good, in the urban area (the city is actually very small) walking to the surrounding restaurants will also be 10-15 minutes. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport (10 knives if you go to rent a car, free if you go to the airport after check-out) and the train station. The hotel is very quiet. The room is also big! The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is not very new, the breakfast is very simple, the same every day.

Absolute price/performance ratio! The bed is very comfortable and there is an airport shuttle. Convenience store has instant noodles and hot water instant noodles! ! !

There is 24-hour coffee tea and hot water in the lobby, which is very good. The gym is professional, the swimming pool is slightly smaller, the parking lot is large, the parking is free, and the overall is very good. Our room was facing the street, a bit noisy. The biggest problem is that there are planes passing in the morning and evening, and the sound is very loud. However, the city of Anchorage is too close to the airport, which is a problem for the entire Anchorage hotel.

Everything was good except for when you walk in the front doors. People are smoking and blocking the entrance. Cigarette butts are all over the place. Just doesn't look good.

Was a good stay. The room was a bit to warm for me when I got checked in, but was able to lower the room temperature. Good clean room with a nice firm bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being next to McDonalds and the Breeze In are also very good options

Parking lot well lit for those dark winter months when you are out late searching for the Aurora and get the hotel late. Also visible security at night in the lobby. We stayed in a deluxe queen that came with free breakfast. Breakfast was better than most free breakfast options at hotels. The staff also gave us a container for food to take to our daughter who was still asleep after being up late looking for the northern lights. Room had space for our luggage and a microwave and fridge. The bathroom door is a strange set up. It separates the bedroom from the room but the second doorway has no door to the room where the toilet and shower are located so if someone is getting ready at the sink they have to deal with the steam from the shower or need to leave to provide privacy for someone to use the toilet. A door could make this set up so much better.

Come back from the hot springs and check in again after returning to the airport. Soon, it will arrive in 10 minutes. The airport is 3 minutes from the hotel and is very convenient. Bedding and toiletries are good, and the hotel is decorated with special features. Breakfast has a hot sandwich, now made of muffins, simple but enough

This is basic accommodation in terms of furnishings and room size but overall good value for Alaska which is expensive . The rooms are dated but provide all the necessities- kettle, fridge, tea & coffee. The kettle has a hole drilled through the counter for its flex but kettle needed to be moved to reach a plug. A mosquito zapper was provided and necessary. A fan is also provided which helps keeps mossies away. The bedside lamp which came on by touch and had an integral socket and USB was very useful. The bathroom was functional and a hair dryer was provided. Clean overall. The twin room was small . Luggage placement was bit of an issue. All rooms are on the ground floor and the majority seem to be adjacent to through corridors with the only window onto the corridor. This meant not too much light came into the rooms given it was the long nights but we preferred to keep curtains closed for privacy. As said- rooms are dated and furnishings are functional rather than decorative. A counter over the fridge, small tables and basic chair. At least somewhere else to sit other than the bed. In terms of sleep the beds are very comfortable. Despite the set up it was generally quiet. Outside there is plenty of car parking. There are large well maintained gardens which go down to the river. Plenty of outside games provided. In reception indoor games are available as is free tea and coffee from 7.30 am. There is no restaurant on site but everywhere in Talkeetna is easy walking. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from one end of town to the other and only took us 20 minutes to the airfield and station. There is a bar also used by locals. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi in the rooms is intermittent but signal can be found outside reception - just be prepared for mossies ( which are an Alaskan problem not a hotel one). This place does not pretend to be anything other than it is. Would happily stay again.

Ingra House Hotel WAS a great place to stay.... BUT, since the covid-19 pandemic started, Ingra House has since become infested with bed bugs, drug addicted bums, and some of the staff are freaking out because of the pandemic and taking out their anger on innocent guests (like Mike the owner- who screamed about how he's ”losing money because of covid-19). Also, the main manager, ”Max” Sweeney seemed like a kind man at first- but it turned out Max is very two-faced, and he has prejudice against people with disabilities (ableism and sanism are his main choices of bigotry, which is discrimination towards people with disabilities). Max was often nice and friendly to my face, but would badmouth me behind my back. I know this because some of the other guests told me he did this. I also observed Max behaving the same way towards other hotel residents- friendly to their face, then talking crap about them behind their back to other guests and staff. I get it- everyone is freaking out over covid-19 and losing money. BUT, that doesn't make it alright for Max and Mike the owner to take out their anger on guests who have nothing to do with any of that. Max treats his cat, Smokey, with more kindness than he treats people with disabilities- he treats people with disabilities like they're wild animals that he threatens with police brutality when they don't bend the knee to him and take his verbal abuse in silence. Despite the bed bugs, drug addicts, etc. I would have enjoyed my stay at Ingra House- if it wasn't for the bigotry and ableist discrimination and two-faced behavior that I had to endure from Mike the owner and Max the manager. Max is the type of guy who let's the power of authority go to his head and he brags about using police violence to remove unwanted guests from ”his property”. Edward ”Max” is like Eric Cartman from South Park- ”Respect my authoritah!”. Well, no! I do not respect your ”authority” nor do I care for your bigotry, Max. And since Max and Mike the owner are white and there are almost no Black guests at Ingra House, I suspect Mike/Max to be a little racist on top of the ableism. Mike and Max both disrespect the Assistant manager, Mike (a black man), and they both talk down to him like he is an indentured servant. You know what ”Max” and Mike? Black Lives Matter. Trans Lives Matter. Disabled Lives Matter. Understand, you white men who have let power and greed go to their heads? Good luck with the bed bug infestation... the next place I rent from, I will make sure they are bed bug free before plunking down $1,000 to live in a place where I get bitten in my sleep. In light of ALL THAT- I have sadly had to change my original reviews from 5 stars to 1 star. It's too bad... Smokey the cat is an awesome kitty and he deserves to have an owner who isn't two-faced or a raging bigot. I am sending good vibes and positive energy to both Smokey and Mike, the assistant owner who still has to endure those two-faced bosse

Enjoyed our stay thanks to the microtel employees. I would definitely recommend and return for future trips. They even welcomed my dog (who may seem scary but is a sweet girl and service animal)

As I reflect on my 3 week trip around Alaska I can't help but realize this was the worst of my experiences, and I stayed at a super 8. The room was musty and in dire need of a DEEP clean. the mattress was indented and old. I left this property with a rash on my neck and face. I brought this to their attention and was simply told ”sorry” and also that there were no bed bugs found in my room. I beg to differ, it took me over a week to recover. This was just the beginning unfortunately. The staff is obviously not happy and not treated well. The overall energy is very stiff and uptight. Restaurants were closed and understaffed, no bartender during the day to make drinks. I went off property for dinner and found great food elsewhere. Overall, its outdated and not worth the price of the room or food. I will say that the spa is so amazing and worth going to and worth the price. Go there and stay someone else in town!

The location is very good, it takes 3 minutes to get to the Anchorage Museum. The front desk staff was very nice, the order showed that check-in was only possible at 3 pm, and the check-in was smooth at 12 o'clock. There is also a small living room in the room, which is very practical.

The Springhill Suites was walking distance to two excellent restaurants: The Crepery and Big Daddy's BBQ. For souvenir shopping, it was right across the road from Arctic Traveller's Gift Shop. And for last-minute winter/outdoor clothing, Big Ray's was just a few steps away. Despite being given a room on the second floor, it was quiet and we could not hear any street noise. The room was large with a very comfortable sofa in a separate sitting area. The decor was rather dated, but we had all we needed, like a microwave oven and coffee maker. We travelled during winter, and the room was always warm, but it would have been good to have somewhere to hang our heavy winter jackets. Service at the front desk was hit and miss; there were some who were friendly and helpful, others who seemed to be inconvenienced by our queries or requests. I'd like to give special thanks to Bernie, our shuttle driver. Our luggage was delayed and we had to make an extra trip to the airport to collect it. Bernie not only sent us to the airport, he waited for us while we retrieved the bag, all done with good cheer and reassurances that things will be ok. He has certainly set the bar very high for service.

Within 800 meters of the hotel there are Wal-Mart Supermarket, FredMeyer Supermarket, McDonald's, Subway, Starbucks, Cold Stone Ice Cream Shop and other restaurants. The staff is very welcoming and the front desk can make reservations to the Shuttle Bus next to the Holiday Inn (the meeting point for most tours). The only thing I didn't feel used to was the room on the 4th floor where we lived. There were no curtains, only a layer of curtain.

It is a very large suite with very American decoration, not new but Definitely clean and tidy enough. The entire resort is also very large, with a small forest behind it. When I first booked, I was frustrated by the photos on the Internet, so I booked for two nights, and stayed at another hotel for one night on the third day. I immediately decided to stay here for the last night. Comfortable!
